10 out of 10! As a nurse, I'm very picky about where I get my nails done. The Nail Lounge in Belmont is run by a lovely married couple, Anna and Douglas, who truly care about their clients. They are meticulous about using sterile instruments and high-quality, non-toxic products. I've lived in the area for over 20 years, and after discovering The Nail Lounge two years ago, I knew I had found my forever salon. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Anna and Douglas are incredibly kind, welcoming, and professional. They make everyone feel comfortable, and their attention to detail is exceptional. Every manicure is done with care, and the results are consistently beautiful. I introduced my young adult daughter to them, and now it's the only place she'll go for her nails as well. Every visit is a wonderful experience. We always enjoy great conversation, a few laughs, and leave with gorgeous nails. I go to many different nail salons, but this one is one of my favorite experiences. This couple put so much care and attention to making sure I was happy with the color and design for my Dazzle Dry French manicure. At every step she engaged with me, and she and her husband were so kind. I keep hopping to different salons because it feels so impersonal and disrespectful sometimes. Where you feel like a number or a nuisance just by being there. Not in this salon. All of the customers there were treated with the same respect and kindness. They also called us all by our first names to say goodbye. I will learn their names next time because I'm definitely coming back. And not to mention they lean towards the low-toxic products, and knew all about the new concerns about toxic gel products that have been in the news lately. This is literally the cutest couple. So the gentleman was looking for a color of dip, and the interaction was funny and so cute her trying to tell him where to find it. I love it in here every season it seems like they update the decor. It's always so clean and smells so nice. I love this couple and this shop. The female does my eyebrows, and she does them so nice. She is the only person in Belmont ill allow to do it. They have a huge dip collection. Polish could be more, but there's a variety. Right near a pizza shop and ice cream across the street. My favorite part is customer service. I can't stress how nice of ppl they are. They are just very sweet. read more

I can't say enough good things about this nail salon. They are truly talented when it comes to doing nail.ever. Everything is perfect every single time. They take their time to make sure the nails look natural and beautiful, and the quality is so good that my tips always last much longer than anywhere else I've been. The salon itself is clean, relaxing, and welcoming, and the couple that works there is incredibly friendly. They really listen to what you want and make it happen, whether you're going for a simple, classy set or something more creative. Nice staff, clean area, $32 for pedicure. Color selection was good for summer. No hot stones and no power shaving of calluses, but that was ok. I was in the mood for quick & good service. And I got just that! (There would be an extra star if I'd gotten callus sanding). read more

This was my first visit and it was an excellent experience. The salon is owned by a husband and wife who pride themselves on taking their time and doing a meticulous job. The salon is clean and modern. I got a manicure and they used DazzleDry polish which lasts longer than regular polish. They really did a great job. A couple of people were waiting for their appointments to begin, and I felt bad that nobody else was working there. The husband told me they have one other person but she couldn't be there that day. He told me they don't like to hire people who have worked at other salons, because it's hard for them to unlearn bad habits of rushing the customers. All in all, this is a lovely salon with really nice people and reasonable prices. I'll definitely return. read more

Very nice job. I got a dip powder redone, first time at this location. The nail tech took much longer to remove the previous dip manicure than I am used to, but he definitely took his time to ensure nail was not damaged in the process. They have a few different color options for dip. Very nice people and very clean location. Price was standard, compared to where I've been in the past. Duke is very meticulous and my nails always look amazing. The salon is stylish and clean, and they've taken every and any precaution for our safety given the pandemic. I wish I could give it a 0 stars First, I did eyebrow waxing. When she finished, she didn't show me in the mirror, which I thought was odd. She let me walk out like a fool with patches missing on my eyebrows, only to go home and find out there was a massacre on my eyebrows. I was appalled, went back to confront her and she kept acting like they were there. Thank god just a couple days ago I had taken some makeup free photos with my dlsr camera, and there I was trying to convince her that I know my eyebrows. Then she started acting like she didn't know what happened and saying that she was freaking out because of coronavirus and had no idea what happened to my eyebrows, even though she was the one to wax them earlier. She also waxed my lip, and I had a mild rash for a whole week I also did my nails, and while I was somewhat pleased, it's been 12 days and this is how they look. My middle finger nail cracked 4 days ago, and the fingernail next to it cracked 3 days ago. Today my middle finger nail broke completely. So $50 nails lasted merely a week If you have money and nerves to spare, go to this salon. read more

I made an appointment and they took me right when I walked in. This place is super clean! I got a wonderful pedicure and had my eyebrows shaped. Both came out perfectly. I was really pleased and will go back. The pedicure was $25 and the eyebrows were $12. The eyebrow technician showed me what she was going to do and had me hold the mirror the entire time.
