Absolutely horrible!!! I booked with Emera Salon for my daughters wedding. I booked for lashes, brow lamination, brow tint and lower eyelash tint. I was very specific about what I wanted and told the spa tech Amy that I was looking for natural hybrid lashes. She gave me Mega Volume Lashes which I absolutely hate. They are too long and too thick and stiff. The brow lamination came out great but lasted only a week, when it should last at least 4-5 weeks. Needless to say it was a complete disaster and was not worth $400. I will be going back to my previous place. They are ALOT cheaper and do a much better job. Now I understand why Emera Lash had plenty of openings and my other spa was fully booked. Not sure how this place has 5 stars when it doesn't even deserve 1. read more

I've been getting my lashes done for a little over a year and have been seeing Katie regularly since May 2022. She always does a phenomenal job and my lashes last over 2 weeks - lately I go in every 3 weeks for a fill. Whether I go Classic or Hybrid, my lashes are never uncomfortable or uneven, they don't burn or stick together, and I love the way they make me look. I get constant compliments. I moved from Boston to Lawrence but still go all the way to Boston or Watertown to see Katie - she's so worth it. It's very convenient to book online and then to pay via Venmo in person. I called for a consultation, the person answering the phone was helpful and directed me to fill out information and book online. When booking online there was no way to pick your stylist. I would have chosen the best (level 3) and I certainly wouldn't have chosen a man! When I arrived for my refill appointment I was greeted by two men, the only people in the establishment. Both had a heavy accent to the point communication was difficult. The stylist, Ivan, looked at me and said "same length?" like my eyelashes were fingernails. I explained they were 15mm, cat-eye, D-curl. "I can see" he said. That he could not. He ended up CUTTING MY EYELASHES. When they fell out, which most did that week, I measured 8mm! He didn't measure them with a marker like other stylists I've seen. I don't know how or why but the man CUT my previously lovely lashes, I was just there for a refill. I was initially so uncomfortable and knew I shouldn't have stayed but they took a credit card number down for the appointment and I didn't want to be charged for nothing. Instead I paid $130 + $30 tip for my lashes to be ruined. They sent a generic follow up text to see how the service was. When I explained my dissatisfaction and hope for some kind of money back they first said they don't give refunds but could remove all the lashes and then replace them. That doesn't sound good for my lashes or schedule. After some push back I got half of my money back but still I paid way too much for a horrible experience. read more

She is so meticulous with her work, so gentle, and the outcome is so much better than what I have gotten anywhere else. I also had a brow tweeze which made me very nervous because I had spent years growing in my over-tweezed brows, but Ivy listened to what I wanted and I know I can trust her to do a great job. I'm going to start off by saying Katie is the absolute best. Ok, you are probably wanting a little more to a review than just that. After being out of the area for the last year, the second I moved back I needed a lash artist stat. I had about one day left before I was going to start looking like a plucked chicken in my eye region. If you know, you know. I made an online appointment, which was so easy and convenient. After my first appointment with her, I opened my eyes and didn't have any burn from the glue or lashes stuck together. The rest as they say is history. I've been seeing Katie for a little over 2 months now. Not only for my lashes, but I've started having her do my brow tint and shape as well. Fabulous all around! Shes professional, so fast and yet meticulous, and should I mention my eyelashes could last me well over 2 1/2 - 3 weeks? I still get a fill every 2 weeks to keep up with them. There's always plenty of on street parking, the space itself is clean, comfortable and very inviting. Payment done by Venmo with a full sheet of scan codes up front, could it get any easier? The space is clean and the beds you lie on during application are super comfy. You even have the option to cover yourself with a blanket and take a nap! I used to only see Thuy (the owner), but have since branched out to other lash technicians. Katie, in particular, is very meticulous with her work and really takes the time to customize your lashes to your eye shape. She is also mindful to take into consideration any requests you have as well. My lashes always come out as a perfect balance of being voluminous and natural at the same time. I usually see Katie in the Quincy location for lash extensions but I've seen her at the Watertown location as well. Katie is very sweet and always makes my lashes look so beautiful and customized to my preferences (which she always remembers). She is gentle on your natural lashes and meticulous with applying the extensions. She applied my first set of volume lashes (wispy style) almost a year ago and I've been getting refills consistently since. I have visited each of the 3 Eye Lush locations and they are all very clean and relaxing. The Watertown location in particular is very cozy and perfect for taking a lash nap. Booking an appointment online, even same day, is easy and I always look forward to going. I highly recommend Eye Lush.
