I have been wearing glasses, then contacts, back to glasses for 60 years so I have had a plethora…read moreof experiences. I've also been through several eye issues such as dry eye leading to multiple corneal erosions and Epithelial Basement Membrane Dystrophy. Most of my previous experiences were with doctors that were so inept that I created my own dry eye treatment plan, which worked better than previous doctors, but it wasn't a total fix. Only Dr. Jessica Condie has been knowledgeable and willing to spend time to determine and present options that actually resolve my vision problems. She's also been very patient with my quirk that makes me very stressed at the "is this better, or that better" part of the diagnostics. Oregon Staff is also very good and I've never had to wait when arriving for an appointment at their clean and organized location. My latest prescription and glasses from her are the first time, since I developed need for reading glasses, around age 45, that I can actually use my glasses when reading. Previously, I've gone through 8 generations of glasses that I had to remove my glasses to read. I admit there's a selfish part of me that doesn't want a wider world to know how good she is and just keep her as my secret. But, that's not fair.

These folks are amazing!!! I've seen all 3 docs, but today I saw Dr Condie and was blown away. She…read moreis genuine and super funny. I always get in right away, never have to wait more than a minute or two. The girls helping me pick out my glasses were so sweet. Top Notch!!

Dr. Gardner herself is very good and friendly but the staff!!!! Holy cow - they are masters of…read morerudeness and the doctor ought to think really hard on whether that is the kind of people she wants representing her business. Upon the initial phone call to make an appt., they acted like they didn't have time for me and my request for a late afternoon appt was really putting them out since most of the availability seemed to be mid-morning. The rudeness was extreme enough that I had to hang up and think about whether I wanted to choose them as my eye care facility, maybe someone was just having a bad day I thought. Nope. Again, rudeness on the phone. But unfortunately my husband had broken his glasses and needed to be seen. Rudeness when we got there. He wanted to keep his old frames because he really liked them and he was told that would be impossible. After the eye check, he was left to wander the lobby wondering about pricing and options and had to wait for someone to notice him again to get his frames picked out. To top it all off, when he went to pick his glasses up, the doctor was assisting someone and told him to go to the second window for pick up. When he did, the woman there barked at him that she was on the phone and he would have to wait in the lobby until she finished her conversation. He felt really awkward and waited there until another worker came out and asked if she could help him like he was taking up space and then got his glasses. She just handed them to him and said nothing. My husband was waiting for her to see if there was any paperwork or payment needed and she had the attitude of "what are you still doing here?". He asked if everything was settled and she said she thinks so and oh, there is a basket of cases out there (where is out there, he wondered?) and he could grab one on the way out. He went out there and couldn't find any basket of cases. She could have just as easily walked him to it and offered him a choice. When he came home he was really upset with them and said he would never go back there so long as they had that rude, unhelpful staff and that says a lot coming from a guy who never complains.
