I've been going to Eyedeal in Van Nuys for a couple years and didn't realize there was another location. This place is great too. Parking is a small lot and the spaces are small Too so I can see that potentially being a problem, but I went on a Tuesday early afternoon and found parking just fine. The space is nice and open. Very clean. I'd have to say it didn't seem like they had as many choices of the frames as the Van Nuys office, but they are more than willing to look up frames for you and order them. The customer service is great. Everyone is so nice and patient (as I tried on the same two frames back and forth for like 20 minutes lol) Dr Gomes is one of the nicest people I've ever met and is so patient and sweet. I live across the street and have been trying to book an appointment for my girlfriend for about 2 months now. Every time I call, either nobody answers or some person gives me the run around then hangs up. Just recently I was finally able to speak to someone whom I thought may be able to help me but I was disappointed yet again. I gave my girlfriends VSP info. Yet for some reason the person "helping" was not able to find any insurance info. The next day we went to a different optometrist and viola the VSP insurance was working like it had been for the past 3 years this policy has been in effect. I dont understand how this place has anything more than a 1 star rating. One thing is clear from this experience; I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. read more

Cannot explain how excited I was when I found out Eyedeal Care was opening an office in West Hills! I have previously been going to their Van Nuys location but now they are literally two minutes from my house which is so convenient! This new location did not disappoint! Not only is it brand new therefore very clean and organized, but the office is so modern and fresh. It sticks with their brand which is great and similar to their other location so it remains familiar. The office smells great, just walking in you already feel good and fresh! As always, Alfredo and the staff are all great! They are so friendly and patient, it's hard to believe. I love that they have the patience with kids as well because I have two of my own and they are always great working with them. Dr. Alex Gomes is wonderful! He is very nice and friendly. Helps make you feel comfortable. The exams are great because he takes his time, explains everything very well and always, always asks if you have any questions. He wants to make sure you leave happy with all questions answered. He also is great working with kids. Makes them feel welcome and is very calm and patient with them as well. The office has so many options for glasses and even sunglasses. They have modern equipment which give you results fast. There is a little area for kids to play as well. My favorite part of my visits was the clean and friendly environment. I arrived on time and was seen right away. I had been having trouble finding the right contacts, but doctor Gomes made sure I left with a pair I loved. I also updated my glasses, it had been a couple of years from when I last updated my pair. Part of my issue was I have been over wearing my contacts and not resting my eyes. The staff was very friendly and patient while I was choosing glasses, I can be rather picky. I had a great experience with Dr. Gomes and staff at Eyedeal in West Hills. The staff member that helped me was friendly, attentive, and helpful. Dr. Gomes was also great; Affable, efficient, easy to understand throughout the entire eye exam, and non-condescending. I never felt that I couldn't ask a question or that I didn't know what was going on. Setting up an appointment (and verifying my insurance coverage beforehand) was easy, they called to remind me of my appointment the day before (and let me know about a cancellation if I wanted to come in earlier), and the place itself was clean, tidy, and not crowded. The general vibe of the place was a very welcoming, with a comfortable yet professional environment and great service. The people there seemed to enjoy what they do and appeared happy to be there, from the staff member that helped me to the optometrist. The staff member that helped me (I believe Alfredo but I can't remember) also offered assistance while picking out frames and was knowledgable in regards to the different variations, even looking in the back to bring out another color for the pair I wanted. I can't think of any con to note! I would definitely return for all eye care needs and recommend this place and doctor to others as well. I couldn't speak higher of my experience at Eyedeal Care. Dr. Gomes was friendly, and my exam was truly done with care and attention to my oftentimes very sensitive eyes. (After a bad experience at another store) Alfredo totally took care of me. Explained everything. I found Eyedeal care a few years back and have been a client now for years. The team is very professional and they take their time to answer all your concerns. Their patience in helping in choosing out the right frames/style for you is amazing! I have used glasses for a long time and have been to other places where they try to rush you into picking what they have in stock. Not here. My prescription has always been on point. So much so that I order my sunglasses at the same time. My favorite reason for writing a review as well is that my son was told he needed glass. I brought my jittery son in and the staff was fantastic. They were very understanding, gentle, caring and even answered his questions to colors he can pick from, including ordering a specific color. They took care of me thoroughly and were always super friendly when I had any questions.
