I am new to the area and chose this location to be seen. I have good insurance so when I asked why I was paying out of pocket they told me for the contract lens fitting. The fees were actually the cause of them being out of network. Instead of ethical and honest they had me pay. I recommend choosing a different Doctor and location. When I called in and explained what they had done they became defensive and rude. I do not recommend them. read more

After a miserable experience at Target Optometry, the lovely Dr. goldenberg fixed my prescription and even allowed me to walk around with a trial lens type glasses to ensure it wasn't too strong for me. Not for families with babies!!! Male front desk person makes nasty comments when babies cry. He's unapologetic for his behavior, and the optometrist is unapologetic for her team. Parents with babies beware. You'll feel really uncomfortable coming here if your baby is upset or crying. INSIDE ENVIRONMENT: Located inside the front of a Wal-Mart. Strange that a place where families are always shopping has an optometry office with low tolerance for the natural baby behavior. I'm sure they know how to do their job, you just might be uncomfortable due to their lack of customer care for families with crying babies. read more

I've come here for awhile now and absolutely love the Dr. She's extremely kind, friendly, and always encourages me and tells me a job well done given I'm diabetic and could have more eye issues than I do. Came today for my yearly eye exam. Last year I went to Lens crafters. The Dr was friendly. She did the exam pretty quick, seemed a bit rushed. Gave my prescription and off to get glasses at the vision center in the same store. I picked out a pair of sunglasses as well as progressives with Brittany. She was so patient and helpful finding frames that looked nice on my face. I ended up getting glasses by Drew Barrymoore. I didn't even know she made them. LOL Brittany deserves 5 stars for her customer service alone! The prices are not cheap, but still a bit less than other places. The exam is 58.00 without insurance. I will continue to come here. read more

Terrible. Doctor was hostile, awkward, abrupt, and truly most off putting medical appointments EVER. Just needed TV distance glasses. Office staff super sweet. Doctor Goldenberg entered exam room said possibly 10 words to me in total 10 min exam. Explained zero what was happening. Silence or two words. Robotic angry cold miserable. I was scared to ask anything yet i did (and i work in healthcare and entire fam are doctors.) will NEVER return here. Whoa so weird. So after urgent care, West Hills ER and my general practitioner all were unsure of my ailment, Dr. Viktoria Goldenberg saves the day! I was referred to her by my general practitioner and not only did she know what was wrong but was sympathetic that my eyes were itching, burning and felt like they were being constantly squeezed! After exams, i ordered eyeglasses with Dr.Goldenberg prescription. I couldn't see anything with those glasses. I returned the glasses and made an appointment with another specialist. And they gave me the correct prescription and the difference with the prescription from Dr. Goldenberg was huge. Her prescription was wrong. I wrote to her office to get my money back for this mistake and my time spent, and they called me back and said that they could not return it. They can only give one more exam, but I already bought glasses and I don't need exams. I don't need another bad exam. Then I will turn to consumer rights. read more

I paid 80 for contacts exam and i guess that came with a pair of contacts ? the prescription was wayyy off . i also got an exam for glasses and that prescription was wayy off too . Despite its tiny, tucked away location next to the Walmart vision center, this place is really good and value for money. The receptionist/assistant was very polite and knowledgable and was quick to answer questions about everything - from insurance to the fine print on the stuff that you're signing. Dr. Goldenberg was also very nice and knowlegdable and open to all questions. She had all the answers and put my mind at ease about some concerns. Dr. Goldenberg is very warm and chatty - she talked about her kids while doing the examination, and overall made me feel very comfortable. I would definately back here again. The price of an eye exam wa $58 without insurance and you can't beat that. Plus the staff at the Walmart Vision Center next door were helpful and efficient. The only reason why I gave this place 4 stars instead of 5 was that I waited a long time to see the the doctor. It was around 30 minutes! This was because I made my appointment around lunchtime, and Dr. Goldenberg was running behind and the other doctor had gone to lunch. Still, it was annoying to see the other doctor sitting around checking her phone and flirting with a patient (even telling him 'about this one patient...') while I was in the waiting room! I called around 12:20 p.m. and find out there was a 12:30 p.m. appointment. Made that immediately. The receptionist/assistant was very nice and attentive. She provided me with the forms and I filled them out and gave them back. She took me for the pre-screening tests and was very through and quick. Dr. Goldenberg was not in but Dr. Cohen was. She was very nice and knowledgeable. Took about 15 minutes to see her though but it was alright. Dr. Cohen made me feel at ease. The evaluation went smoothly. Had to have by eyes dilated and had to come back after an hour to get another exam completed. It was a very smooth process. Paid and got my prescription for glasses and contacts. Would recommend this to others and will likely go again next year. read more

I went in to get a new batch of contacts to find out my prescription expired a month ago. I asked if i can get a few samples to hold me off until i come in for a new exam since i was in a rush. The receptionist was unprofessional and did not care about anything i had to say and just blew me off. I've been a patient at this location for a few years and the doctor was alright from what i remember but the rest of the staff, they obv don't care about their clients. My daughter's vision was getting worse, and we had to constantly visit the eye doctor to get a new prescription and glasses. Recently, Dr. Goldenberg introduced us to these lenses that are worn only during the nighttime. When you take them off in the morning, you can see during the day completely clearly!
