Really terrific experience. I made the appointment on their website, no wait to see the optometrist Dr Nguyen who explains everything- which I love. We also connected on Puerto Rico - where she went to school and where I went on my honeymoon. The opticians are so nice and friendly. They have a wonderful selection of glasses very modern and contemporary to very traditional. I was able to use my FSA benefits to get a prescription pair of sunglasses- which I have always wanted. Their location is very central and east to get to on Sunrise Blvd. They even put new lenses in a pair of old frames that I really liked. Denise ,the assistant manager gave me and my husband wonderful service. She honestly told me which glasses looked good on me. Will definitely return and recommend to others. read more

Came in here a few years ago to have my lenses replaced under warranty. They broke my frames while putting in the new ones and I had to refuse to leave and sit there for two hours until they finally agreed to cover the cost of a new pair of frames. They wanted me to spend money out of pocket to buy new frames after THEY broke them. This was 2017. I went in a week ago (August 2020) to buy new frames. Their computers weren't working so the gentleman working said he would put them on hold for me to come back and purchase. I comeback to purchase them at 4:55. I'm stopped at the door and am told they are closed. They close at 5 (although it says 7pm online). I tell the woman working I am just wanting to purchase frames on hold and she tells me that she already shut down the computers... so before they actually closed she shut down the computers so she could refuse customers. Horrible customer service. Lazy. Won't be going back to this location. I'm actually driving out of my way to go to a different location. Never going back to this horribly run place again. read more

The day after Christmas, I called eyeglass world and Chris picked up the phone. Chris took my call in the midst of me and my daughter standing in stanton optical ready to walk out after giving them their last chance after multiple mistakes. He was able to get us scheduled that same day. Upon arrival the staff was very friendly, they helped print out my husband's prescription from another pllace and let him pick out glasses while me and our daughter had our exams done. The doctor was very informative and made the exams tolerable to sit through, she had a sense of humor and communicated well with both my daughter and myself. Upon checking out we found out that my vision insurance was not properly updated in the computer system. Instead of billing us and getting the run around to get our money back, Chris waited until Monday to make sure everything was up to date before putting our prescription through. Overall great customer service, will definitely recommend them to others and continue bringing our service to this location. read more

Picked up two pairs of glasses with the BOGO deal. One regular and one prescription sunglasses. They gave us great service and I'm pleased with my glasses. They also had them ready really quickly. If you go early enough, they can have them ready for you the same day. They offer a one year warranty for a good price. Denise helped me find a pair of glasses and also finished up my transaction. She went the extra mile to make sure I was satisfied with my selection. She was very friendly and I appreciated her help throughout the visit. I went in for a contact lenses appointment and I have insurance but I was charged a $25 copay for a glasses prescription and then an extra $60 for a contact lens fitting. The appointment took all of 15 minutes and I had been there before and NEVER paid that much! I can't believe they charge for the glasses prescription and lens prescription separately! Had they told me prior to the appointment that it would have costed that much I would not have gotten more contacts! read more

Went to buy my contacts online and the prescription that was written is missing the power for my right eye. I called and was told that I don't need that in my contacts. My last prescription was a -1.00 and the optometrist told me that my vision was worse in my right eye. I explained this to the person that answered the phone. She again said that I did not need power in my contacts. I asked her why I needed contacts then. She said someone would call me back which did not happen. I called again and was told that they were too busy to help me and to call back in a couple of days. read more

My husband and I were looking for a new pair of glasses/sunglasses as the place we usually go doesn't have a good selection so we brought our scripts to this place hoping to get a good deal. Well we go for the special as they say in their commercials 2 pairs for $78.00 which we thought that was a great deal then they tell u there is a small area to pick ur glasses again the reason we came here was to find a better selection for the price. Then we ended up getting pushed into getting so called Designer glasses which I have seen better glasses at the Dollar Store! Meaning they are not made very well and I only had my sunglasses a month and the ear piece is pealing off on right ear piece!! I got my glasses and I wasn't happy with the progressive as they were horrible on computer as it wasn't what I wanted and I told Danielle that I wanted ones for the computer, but I got ones to where I have to turn my head to read side to side! Which isn't cool at all! She told me I had 30 days if I wanted to change something she wrote out on piece paper for an "UPGRADE " so if I wanted my glasses fixed Iwould have that amount of time to change them. I have included the piece of paper she wrote on. Also asked for transitions that was on there also. So last Friday I returned to store thinking I would be in and out!! NO!!! So she told me if I wanted just the progressive changed it would be $75.04 which I thought was fine. Then she had to leave me several times to talk to manager about my fix. Then I got stuck talking to the manager telling me I can't just pay the $75.04 that o would have to do a "NEW TRANSACTION" that it would be "FRAUD" if I just paid the difference which was SUPPOSED to be an upgrade!! Then if it's FRAUD then why do ur employees tell u that u only have to pay a certain price to upgrade then charge u more!! He then said he would have to credit my cc and charge me for the fix which he then tells me it would be $250.00!!! I was so upset when I left I was shaking!! I went there to get what I wanted in the beginning and get nothing in return but upset!!!! I have never been treated like this by anyone. Very poor customer service and I rip people off! The quality of ur glasses for supposedly being designer sucks!! You should want to make the customers happy and want them to return, but all U do is make them mad and post bad reviews like this. Shame on u!!! I am telling all my family and friends don't go here unless u want ur glasses to fall apart or be ripped off!! I need my glasses fixed and I have the fix plan so I will have to be back,but won't be returning to this location anytime soon! I shouldn't have to fix my glasses only had them a MONTH!! read more

I've had two incidents with this store and it wasn't good we did not get a reminder about our appt but went in anyway. They didn't seem to know about it then we had to wait and next thing we were told we'd have to come back Because their machine was down and needed a part. So we went back got the exam and glasses. Came here for an exam and possibly glasses. I walked in not sure if they would have an appointment available. We were immediately greeted by Jenna (general manager) who was very helpful in making my appointment. I was taken to the back and started the process. Dr. Jennifer saw me right away. We paid for our service and Jenna went over the special they have going on. We left to do some shopping and I decided to go back to take a look at their selection. I narrowed my search and then Denise (assistant manager) helped me with my selection. Both were very knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful. I picked out 2 frames, they had 1 pair ready with my prescription in about 20 minutes and the 2nd pair they had to order my lenses. I will recommend this place to everyone! The service was awesome! My husband Coach Mike needs very specialized glasses and they have been so helpful! Then we got our truck broken into and his RX sunglasses got boosted and it was a pretty tough financial hit for us to replace and we got a cheaper pair and then they replaced them for the exact ones for no extra charge so he has side protection for his eyes. We really appreciate the upgrade after our car was broken into and my husband's property was strewn all over town...most of our funds had to go to security cameras and the glasses replacement and time to deal with the police. I couldn't be happier! The people here are amazing! They were all very helpful and very friendly and saved me a lot of money. Hi my name is Enrique D. I came in on a slow day (i own a small business) so I was able to get a walk in for a contact lenses exam. No problem it went smooth. Paid for my exam and waited for trials. I got scheduled an exam for fitting (which i know how to use contacts) missed the exam since my business is thriving this year and cannot schedule another appointment until it slows down until winter. I work everyday long days and this eyeglass world is so unprofessional not letting my wife pick up my contacts knowing my situation that I don't have time. They Don't want to give me my prescription or work with me and Denise is extremely rude and did not want to provide any information about their business or doctor even my PRESCRIPTION which is ridiculous. Without a fitting. Do not recommend and i need whoever owns this building business or doctor to contact me since they don't want to refund me my money for a service i paid for and have not received. read more

So they advertise two pair of glasses for as little as $78 but once you go in and get your exam ( basic) and go to pick your frames then you find out thats only if your paying cash. And also they advertise same day pick up on most but even though my appointment was at 10:30 am on Saturday I'm now told it will be Mon but most likely Tuesday before I can pick up my one pair of glasses. I have $300 worth of coverage and yet for $300 worth of insurance coverage i can only receive the basic eye exam and their cheapest glasses ( one pair) and have to wait about 3 days to get them. They should say in thier advertisement that two pair for $78 does not include those using insurance. read more

I purchased new eyeglasses from here for the first time with my new insurance about 3 months ago. They are amazing glasses. I had to get an eye exam which was only $10 with my insurance and the glasses would have been free ($175) but $150 was my limit so I only paid $25 extra. Today? One of the arms fell off. Which was likely my fault for falling asleep with them. I did not purchase the extra warranty. We went back to see if they could glue it back into the hole but instead they sold me a $25 warranty and set up a BRAND NEW pair of frames with my lenses in 20 minutes!!!!!! Just had the best experience ever for getting new glasses. I drove up from Stockton and due to some accidents along the way, I was running late. Kate was great in helping me get checked in for my eye exam with only a short wait and Dr Nguyen was very thorough and pleasant. She explained every step of the exam and the results. Dr. Nguyen may be my all-time favorite eye doctor in my 40 years of wearing glasses. Stephanie was very nice and helpful with selecting some frames and Danniell worked with me to select just the right ones. Danniell was super fun and made me laugh the whole time, while taking time to make sure I got glasses that compliment the shape of my face. If you need a little extra help in finding glasses that look good and fit right, Danniell is awesome! I'm very introverted and quiet, but could have spent all day hanging out at Eyeglass World. Unfortunately this location has very poor service. They do not keep track of their patient files and their clerks are rude when they cannot find your information initially and reluctant to be forthcoming once they do. I was told my order was placed 3 times and it was not. I only identified this after calling for weeks with no response until the rudest clerk told me there was nothing they could do to rectify the inconvenience of my order not being "properly processed by the previous clerks." I am very dissatisfied in the service I received and will NOT be returning nor would I recommend Eyeglass World. read more

The staff at this location were very helpful but failed to mention their return policy is 30 days even if an rx has not been put into them. I purchased a set I was ok with (not many sunglass options) but kept searching just in case I found a pair I could really live in since my optometrist has advised they need to be worn 24/7. The staff stated if I found another pair I liked more I'd be able to return both the frames and sunglasses, but was not told it needed to be within 30 days. The return policy is not on the receipt either. I finally found a pair I love and contacted the store about returning the two pairs I was not happy with and was advised there's nothing they can do. I emailed customer service and got the same response. I feel that I was very mislead in my first eyeglasses experience and wouldn't recommend anyone who's weary about their first big purchase to come here. read more
