Ordered 3 sets of glasses for my family on 1/23. Took two hours just to get the order placed (not sure why with two people helping us). Was told they would be ready by 2/2. It's now 2/7 and crickets! So I called the Roseville phone number which apparently was auto transferred to their Fulton location who said Roseville is being remodeled and apparently transferred all their calls without their knowledge. I called to set an eye exam and was surprised the call was answered immediately (huge plus) once I arrived and walked in I was greeted within 30 seconds with a friendly tone as I could not see the smile due to Covid-19 mask. Temperature was taken then filled out my forms. The whole process was smooth, painless and by this I mean no sales pressure or upselling. I picked out the glasses I liked and was ready for the eye exam. Kristi the Assistant GM was/is great! Kristis customer service is clearly a reflection of her teams along her knowledge of product. Came in with a prescription already for my 9 year old daughter. We needed help picking out a pair and the sales guy (santa claus looking guy) did not want to help us. When asking what would be the right size for her, he said any of them can work, just try an see how it feels. I know glasses have sizes an there supposed to tell us. He just sat there and kept brushing us off, I asked how much would it be and he said well it depends which you pick out. Everyone that works here is super nice and helpful but the quality of some of the eyewear is not great. That being said they have fixed and/or repaired our frames multiple times and were very apologetic and concerned. They were also out of network for my insurance which I wasn't told until it was all said and done- I blame myself for not thoroughly investigating this before my appointment. Their customer service was awful, I tried to return my glasses within two weeks after buying them, and got the run around about why they can't do it because a manager needs to be there and each day i went back got a different excuse why she wasn't there! I've been to a lot of optometrist offices in the many many years I've worn glasses and this place was hands down the best experience I've ever had. Unfortunately my eyes have gotten so bad to the point where glasses can't really help me anymore but both the eye doctor and the front sales people went above and beyond to help me be able to see as well as I'm able. I left with a referral to a cornea specialist and a date to come back to pick up new glasses. The optometrist(s) are great, but when it comes to sales associates, not so much. I paid quite a bit only to have my prescription sent to the wrong address, but it took 4 calls to this location to get information straight...And now I have to go there to get an actual refund for my prescription because they won't resend it out, even though it's their fault. I called a month ago, correcting the address to only find out that the lady I spoke to actually didn't resend them to my address and to the Roseville location. So I call again, find that out and now I'm expected to drive an hour and a half for their miscommunication error and since their policy is to have people refunded in the same store that made the request of patient services, I'm out of contacts. I had the greatest experience at Eyeglass Roseville. I am usually not a fan of optometrists, but Dr Romas Golas and staff made this the best experience to date. I had a wonderful young man, Andrey, help me throughout my visit and picking out my new pair of glasses. He was extremely knowledgeable and professional. I called in to schedule my appointment and he went step by step with me to let me know how much everything will cost approximately, to what kinds of packages they offer and the quality of the material. They were able to get me in the very next day since my glasses were extremely old and worn out. I am very indecisive and Andrey helped me find the best glasses to fit my face and to fit my lifestyle; and they're exactly what I've been needing! It never felt like a sales pitch, as some optometry offices often do, and I never felt pressured to buy anything. He gave me his honest opinion, and it was shockingly spot on. Absolutely the best hands down!!! Customer service great and helped me from start to finish. Picked out style that matched my face and felt great! The staff all chimed in on helping me. They found out I had insurance coverage that got me a free pair sunglasses and covered everything. The best part is I been rocking my glasses and sun glasses for almost a year and I left them on coffee table with my new bull dog puppy. He decided they were good to chew up and killed my specs both of them. After being blind for two days I called eye glass world and talked to manager, he said bring them in and we will check it out. UPDATE: Eyeglass World contacted me, heard my story, demonstrated empathy and understanding and decided to replace the broken frame as a goodwill gesture. Technically, they have no contractual obligation since the frame manufacturer's warranty is expired. But like many smart businesses today, Eyeglass World understands that their most valuable product may be customer service that helps develop consumer loyalty. After all, I'm going to need a new Rx in another year or two. Why not work to secure my loyalty? I usually get my glasses from my optometrist but I wanted more style options. With so many options, it did take me some time. Laura was so patient in helping me pick out my glasses. We first met Danielle at Eye Glass World in Folsom and loved her so much that we followed her all the way to the store in Roseville where she is now. I had my Designer glasses corrected and when I got them back, they replaced my case with some cheap ones. My designer glasses in a cheap case. Lol. Also, when my lenses need to be corrected, they said I can come back and take another exam for free. When I did, they told me I had to pay. I needed to explain many times that I was told it's going to be free because I just got my glasses. Took a while for them to understand. The other one says it's free and the other girl says I had to pay. Ended up not paying anything. Almost everyone is trying so hard to be accommodating but you can really see and feel that they're not deep within. Same with Stanton. So my daughter has been going to Roseville vision center for 10yrs. We happened to see this shop open and she was due for a new pair of glasses so we decided to check it out. Here original place was behind on appts so why not. That was a huge mistake. First impression was like western dental, tons of people and we felt like cattle. Once the Exam was over the showroom associate was nice and helpful in picking out her glasses. So all in all we were ok but unimpressed. Fast forward a year we go back to our normal eye Dr. she was put in a wrong prescription by eyeglass works and her left eye has gotten worse because of it! Like don't trust these large retailers where your just a number! Won't go back!! Should have used my judgment when they wanted to change her whole eyesight prescription as far as saying she needs a bifocal?!! Inexperienced is all I can say!!! read more

I needed new glasses so I thought I would check this new business out and I'm glad I did. I was greeted by Rachael and she is professional and her knowledge of glasses, insurance and breakdown of price is impressive. I already had a prescription for new glasses so I did not get an exam here. I did look through the huge selection of frames they had and was impressed by the quality and abundance of choices. However my glasses are like my purses and I like designer minus the designer price. I had a pair of Gucci sunglasses and Gucci frames that I purchased elsewhere and just needed the prescription put in them. Here is the breakdown.... My two frames, with my VSP insurance, Protective coating, Anti reflection and one year insurance on both frames $170.00 total cost. Now the frames I had, I paid $140 from the rack. They are Gucci so it's still an amazing deal. Here is the bonus they have a lab!!!!!! So two hours later my eyeglasses were done! My sunglasses need to be sent out due to the shape but they will be ready in a week, that is minimal wait time. I definitely will recommend this establishment and return for future purchases I need. read more

Great experience in getting my eyes check for the first time in forever. The doctor was so nice and knowledgeable. The wait after for help with glasses was awhile. It was really hard finding the right pair of glasses here. I did find one that was big and wide enough for my face but it didn't sit on my face correctly due having an Asian flat face. The worker that helped me insisted I can only go for the uglier frames and the wide ones will not work. NOT TRUE! there are other optometry that will custom make your fitting! I was greeted by Sachin, the general manager of the store, and he was very thorough with describing the store and giving a tour. The assistant general manager, Jenna, was upbeat with a very positive attitude and willingness to help in any way.. The optician who helped me was Kristi and she knew a great deal on every one of my questions. After my experience with Lenscrafters (when I went in, I left after 15 minutes cause not a soul greeted me or even acknowledged I was there), Eyeglass World turned out to be a GEM! Not a great experience. I walked into this location on a Saturday. It was not busy at all-there was one family shopping for glasses and two associates doing nothing. I came in to get new frames and lenses since they were one of the few places open on a weekend. At first I was entirely ignored so I decided to start looking at the Men's frames. I grabbed a pair of glasses to try them on and a lady came up to me who worked their and snatch them out of my hands and rudely said can I help you. I proceeded to tell her that I have VSP and I am looking for frames. With attitude she said well we are out of network so I can't help you. I asked her if there was any coverage through my insurance and she said yeah but its only $150-170. I said great my insurance cover's a $130 for frames plus additional for lenses. I asked if I was allowed to try on the glasses or if they had to hold them(COVID restrictions). She said no you can pick them out yourself. I asked if I could have the frames back that I picked to try on and she said "fine" then walked away. It felt like she thought I was thief or something. I tried on multiple pairs and was ignored. I was ready to buy two frames but decided they didn't deserve my business. SO HARD PASS. Taking my business elsewhere. money elsewhere. read more

Usually when I go to offices I get treated with mediocre or condescending service because of my outside appearance. At Eye Glass World I've always had natural and up beat interactions with the staff, all across the board from the eye exam, picking out frames, to going over specifications and picking them up. I've had nothing but fulfilling customer service when I went back over a lost screw or when I damaged my frames. They've gone above and beyond without breaking the bank, and it really means a lot.
