I was looking for a NEW lash technician for my eyelash extensions. My FIRST lash technician never caused any burning or irritation, but after she quit her job, I tried a SECOND technician at the same location. Unfortunately, my eyes BURNED during that appointment as well, even though she reportedly used the SAME glue as my original technician... So, I decided to look for a THIRD lash technician. I saw EcdoNails Instagram advertisement for their August grand opening special and decided to give them a try. The promotion included FREE lash removal, so I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to start with a FRESH SET... A $10 DEPOSIT was required to book the appointment... 3D Volume Set: $89 I paid in cash plus a nice tip... UNFORTUNATELY, the volume set did not give me the FULL look I was hoping for. She asked me what length I wanted and I was not familiar with the length. My last lash technician just put it on for me so I asked her for her recommendation which came out on the short side... More importantly, my eyes were BURNING from the glue for at least an hour after the service. The discomfort was significant enough that my mom had to DRIVE me home... I had also told them about my previous bad experience with another lash technician and my concerns about BURNING. I was told that this technician was being careful and using sensitive eye glue. However, I still experienced significant burning during and after my appointment... Despite this experience, I was actually willing to give EcdoNails a SECOND CHANCE. I contacted them because I wanted to book with a different, potentially more experienced lash technician for a future appointment. Unfortunately, they REFUSED to book me and wished me the best of luck... That was disappointing because I was prepared to become a loyal client and get biweekly lash refills... One small additional NOTE: please watch where you step in the parking lot. There was fresh gum on the ground when I visited... I understand that not every client will have the same experience, and I appreciate that they initially tried to address my concerns. However, after experiencing significant eye burning and then being unable to book with another technician for a SECOND CHANCE, I will have to look elsewhere for a lash technician... I SINCERELY wish EcdoNails and future clients all the best. I personally hope to find a technician who can give me the look I want while also making the lash application a comfortable experience.

But I must…read moresay, something has me feeling a bit unsettled lately. ​There's this man who has been at the shop the last two times I visited. I can't quite put my finger on it, but he has a strange way about him. He keeps disappearing into that one room, and as far as I know, they don't do any services in that room. ​Honestly, it makes me feel quite nervous, and I heard some of the other woman whispering that they think he lives there. I've never seen him sitting in a chair getting any work done on himself. It's a space with so many children and women around. If he is indeed staying there, it simply is not right. My nerves are quite frayed over it, to tell you the truth. ​And once, I went into the washroom after he had been in there, and the state of it! It looked like he had a "bird bath" in it. It made me feel so uncomfortable. He truly puts me in a tizzy!
