The front desk consistently sounds irritated when patients call, as if answering questions or helping people is an inconvenience. Every interaction has left me feeling like I'm bothering them rather than being a valued patient. The most frustrating part was spending nearly $900 on contact lenses and eyeglasses with an incorrect prescription. Instead of standing behind their work and correcting the issue, I was told I would need to pay for another exam to have the prescription reevaluated. Charging a patient additional fees to address a prescription that wasn't working is unacceptable. Everyone makes mistakes, including doctors. What separates a great practice from a poor one is how those mistakes are handled. Rather than taking ownership and working toward a reasonable solution, I felt dismissed and treated like another billable appointment. It's especially disappointing because I had trusted this office with my eye care for over two decades. The previous level of care and customer service is gone. The new doctors and staff seem far less invested in their patients' experience, and that has cost them a loyal customer. Losing a patient of 25 years over a preventable issue says a lot. The surgical team was professional, efficient, and clearly experienced. My results are excellent. I no longer need glasses, which was the goal. The billing department is a different experience. I have requested an itemized bill three separate times and have yet to receive one, while continuing to get payment demands by text without any explanation of charges. There was also an issue on the day of surgery. I had already paid nearly $10,000 in advance, yet the front desk insisted I needed to pay an additional $80 before being taken back for surgery. I did not have my wallet with me since I was not driving. After asking for a supervisor, I was told it was fine to proceed. This appeared to be due to an inexperienced staff member, but it should not happen. Overall, the medical care was excellent, but the billing and front desk processes need improvement.

Then, I heard 1-2 patients also sniffling. Zero concern--after years of pandemic--for keeping symptomatic staff at home and symptomatic patients away from others. Finally, I simply had to leave after waiting months for appt. Even with a decent mask, it's not smart to loiter around sick people. The sniffler had *nothing* to say. I'm at home dealing with potential early Covid symptoms & it can have serious impacts, such as to heart and brain, for months after the infection. Medical providers should be liable for stuff like this. Should not have to risk your life to go see them. Update: I'm still a disabled senior with cardiovascular issues I got after prior Covid infections, like I was last Wednesday. But now I feel like crap.
