Unless you plan on spending big money for the scratch resistant lenses, avoid at all cost. I paid for transition and blue light blocking, additional $85 charges each and now I have a pair of glasses with deep scratches and hard to clean smudges. All within the first two weeks of usage with me being very protective of handling them. I've worn glasses for 20+ years and these are by far the worst pair of glasses I've ever purchased. read more

I went to eye mart express because I was having a hard time seeing with my glasses. I was hoping to get the new glasses the same day. We spent almost two hours in the store. While waiting I picked out my glasses. The wait was not bad. The staff that took care of me was over sharing about her personal life and had to get me more glasses to try on. I had mine picked out. Due to my prescription I couldn't get them the same day. I called 5 days later to check and I was told that they had the lenses and that they would place a rush on my glasses. I called again today 4 days later and they told me they have not received my lenses and that I wouldn't have them until the end of the week. Crappie service when someone is needing the new glasses! I asked for the manager to cancel. I can wait that long any where! The manager called me back. She was rude and less than sympathetic. She said there was an issue with my lens so they sent them back. She said " well we have 14 days and it looks like yours will be longer than that". No concern for the fact that I came to them to get quicker glasses due to my current one being difficult to clean due to the coating. When I said I know you don't care she replied " I take offense to that I care". Well honestly your additive would suggest you don't. She still never understood that I could have gotten quicker any where. read more

Came here because of the good reviews but was very disappointed. I had prescription lenses put into my sunglasses here, and they screwed up my prescription - It was super blurry when I tried to look at my dashboard screen. Tested individual eyes and my right eye cannot see anything on the screen AT ALL. It's so bad I can't use my sunglasses until I get new lenses put in. Service takes forever as well - It took 3 hours for me from wait time to order. I will not be returning nor recommending this place to anyone else. read more

I went to them to get a pair of glasses before my others from another office were ready which they said would take 2 weeks. I picked out frames and went further down Wendover to shop a bit until they were ready. We ran into Academy Sports for a quick item then stopped to get an appetizer from a restaurant nearby. Before we could get drinks I got the text that one pair of the glasses was ready. Before they brought the appetizer out the alert came for the second pair. I was very pleased with the speed of them getting them ready for me which in total was maybe about 40 minutes if not a bit shorter. I went back to pick up and the guy who helped me explained everything I needed to know about my new glasses. I will definitely be going back and also getting my daughter's glasses from here. I have had 2 prescriptions filled at this store. The prices were good and my glasses were finished on the same day. My sister had her eyes checked at this location but had to go back because the optician didn't add prisms. Her previous ophthalmologist had recommended she have these as part of future prescription lens. In all cases understand that there's a difference between an optician, an optometrist, and an ophthalmologist. My BIL went there but had to go back several times to get his glasses prescription filled correctly (left and right lens strength were switched). Because of good prices and quick turn-around times, the store personnel are often very busy. So, you may have to wait a little. In all cases and with everywhere you go in today's market, you should understand your prescription. Then during your fitting, you should make sure everything is correct (lens strength, transitioning lens, and if lens are correct for each eye). Don't be timid and afraid to compare the prescription and finished product. I think the era of sales floor expertise has past. Consumers must be more educated and not totally reliant on sales personnel. read more

If you are expecting prices you see on TV commercials, think again! They even admit right off the bat that they don't have any glasses for the advertised price. My glasses ended up costing me almost $300. They did finish them quickly but I did think they cost too much. read more

PROS: -Good deals on glasses and sunglasses. -1 hour service available with most glasses. -Free adjustments on glasses you purchased there. CONS: -Pushy staff. You have to sign-in at the front desk and wait to be helped, the staff try to get people in and out as fast as possible because they are usually busy. If you don't know what kind of glasses you're looking to get, they will randomly start handing you glasses to try on and will say something like, "I like those, do you?" If you say anything in agreement, they assume that's the pair you've decided on. Stand firm with these people, don't let them push you into buying glasses that you're not too crazy about. -Tell them very clearly what you want with your glasses. We requested anti-reflective coating and it wasn't marked down on our order, we assumed it was since we said we wanted it. We picked up my glasses and when I got home and sat in-front of my computer, I discovered there was no AR coating on my lenses. We returned to the store and asked about it and we were charged $45 for an additional pair of lenses with AR coating, that we requested to begin with. To top it off, we have to wait 14 business days to receive these AR coated lenses. Who knows if this is some sort of scheme to make people give them more money. -We have had to go back to the store twice to get our glasses adjusted because they slide down our noses or are just generally crooked and/or messed up. -If you're looking to get the deal with the 2 pairs for the price of one, you have a very small section of the store to choose from and most of the frames are very cheap feeling and looking, which is okay if you don't have to wear glasses all the time, but if you do, you might want to pay more to get better frames or better yet, just don't get glasses here at all. read more

I went to EyeMart Express the first time and was fitted for glasses. I was very happy with the frames, but they needed adjusting several times. The first time the lenses were loose in the frames and had to be replaced. The next few times, they hurt on my nose and ear. Although the people were nice, I had to wait so long before being seen - every time. I went different times of the week and day, but it was always the same. The service was just not up to par. Very pleased. I took advantage of a recent sale to get two pairs of glasses for a low price. The service was good and friendly. The price was excellent. One of my two pair of glasses was done differently to make them better for computer use. When they came back I found I was not happy with how they worked for that purpose. They happily and quickly re-made that pair to make me happy. The second attempt was just right. This is a busy place (probably because they are friendly and professional and have much better prices than elsewhere), so plan for that. I've been to the store 3 times at different times of the day and it was always crowded in there. I will definitely get my next pair(s) of glasses here. read more

A return visit to Eyemart Express and I think they are the best eyewear store in our area. My husband needed new glasses this time. We only waited a couple minutes after signing in. Andrea then took great care in helping my husband choose frames, and measuring for accuracy. After he explained that he had gotten two really bad pairs of no-line bifocals from other eyewear shops, Andrea even asked Lisa, the store manager, to double check. Andrea then explained that he could get a second pair free, (with upgrades available for a price) he chose a very basic pair. Andrea recommended he get the single vision pair for distance, and he picked very basic frames nd lenses. We then paid, and left. They texted within 45 minutes that his free glasses were ready. We haven't picked up the primary pair as hubby ordered a pair with some options to be made out of the store. The distance pair was a good suggestion, and he has even used them for driving at night. This store has tons of options, expertise, and a great customer service policy and attitude. read more

Another great experience today.Yes,they are busy&Yes you have to sign in.But,that's the best way for them to service the customer.This is my second pair.I ordered a new pair last week&they had to send off to have done.Told 2 week's.Received today in week.Never had a problem with anyone there.Lisa the manager is the best.Lastly,I recommend the HD lenses.They are worth the extra for sure.You will not beat there price's for sure.Awesome!!! read more
