Visionworks - 4:08PM when I'm leaving my 4:00PM appointment that I missed my 10 minute window

WHAT A JOKE!!! I was 4 minutes (FOUR MINUTES!!!!) late for my appointment and they said I missed…read morethe 10 minutes window.... How does 4 minutes turn into 10 minutes?!?! The office staff looked very questionable, and unprofessional. It is a "doctors" office for crying out loud. The would've been my first time using Visionworks, and I promise it will be my last. No wonder they have so many available appointments online. VERY SAD.

If I could give them no stars I would…read more I went to get a prescription for contacts last May (prescription is only valid for 1 year which I found out today). I don't use Contacts on a day-to-day basis and I told them when I went that I was only going to use Contacts for special occasions. I went in and I didn't even see a physical doctor. I ended up talking to a doctor on a screen which normally wouldn't make me feel uneasy but in this case I ended up regretting it. By the end of the week they gave me a weeks worth of contacts with my new prescription. I was excited and (at the time) grateful for a weeks worth when other places normally give out Like a days worth. Fast forward to about a month ago, I finally tried on my contacts....I couldn't see! It's so blurry I couldn't even keep them in for more than 2 mns as my eyes started to get irritated, watery and ache from my eyes trying to "correct" themselves. End result: I couldn't wear them, they're still in my cupboard. I decided to call when I had the chance to see if by any miracle they could change my prescription knowing that it had been a while since I had last seen them or better yet just go to a different dr with my prescription in hand. Fast forward to today. I called and I spoke to a lady (I forgot her name) who started off nice but ended up being petty and rude. I started off by asking her if I could get an email copy of my prescription because what she didn't know was that I was going to go to another office and show them my prescription so that they could see what prescription they gave me and see if they could correct it. She plainly told me she could not send it through email. She stated the only viable option was for me to pick up a physical copy, which I did not want to do. She couldn't even find me in the system. I was kind of thrown off, because why couldn't you send it through email? I just didn't understand as to what the big deal was but coming from a medical background Maybe there was some legal reason so I didn't push it. After asking some questions about my prescription she told me it was best to see the dr. I didn't even see a physical optometrist last time I was there why would I go back? To get another incorrect prescription? She laughed and asked why I needed my prescription then and I told her that I wanted a copy to show a real optometrist so they can see what you guys did wrong! Long story short she ended up calling me back and told me my prescription was void and that I couldn't get any sort of copy, so I just hung up. They won't even send it to another Dr because it's void. Legal matters aside, they should always send my previous information to a new dr whether they like it or not. Here's the thing, I understand that prescriptions are only valid 1 year and I myself understand that there are things u can't and can do but the conversation would've gone better without attitude from miss Visionworks cuz I can dish it right back.

My daughter is an optometrist but was on vacation ( shame). They were working me in. Told at first to come at 2:30. Sweet Rachael the office manager I think. said to come at 1;45 to see if I could get in early. At approximately 3pm and in tremendous pain I was seen. Needless to say my friend had better things to do than to hang out. So I did ask many times. WHEN COULD I BE SEEN. FINALLY. SHE (Dr Tran) TREATED ME LIKE MUD ON HER SHOE!!!. SAID I WAS NEVER TOLD TO COME EARLY. I ASKED HER ARE U CALLING ME A LIAR. RESPONSE WAS "I TRUST MY STAFF." I had a "gouge" on my cornea. A few years ago ( before my daughter became an eye doctor) I had a similar thing. Happen on a Saturday. A very nice male doc came in and saw me. He put meds in my eye and put a contact, which is pretty much like an eye bandaid. Cant remember the time frame but had to go back to have it removed. This was my 1 st experience with Ms Tran. She would not remove the contact. Citing can't do it with gloves on. Other doctor put it in with gloves. So she had me do it. 15 minutes and many tries I finally got it AFTER I PUT A HOLE IN THE WHITE PART OF MY EYE VERY HARD TO REMOVE AND SCRATCHED IT HORRIBLY WITH MY NAIL. For over a week my eye was deep blood red and I could hardly hold it open. My advice if you happen to need your eyesight. AVOID THIS FARCE OF AN EYE DOCTOR!!! Rude Doesn't have a clue that some patients are in extreme distress. Obviously HATES PEOPLE AND SHOULD BE WAITING TABLES FOR A LIVING!!!!
