OWNERSHIP please read!!!! If one of the owners, GM, or CEO came in to this Eyemart, they would realize how understaffed this business was. They would realize how frustrated customers were for the wait. This also makes the working environment tough, especially if you are constantly having to deal with upset customers. My advice would be hire a couple part time employees to work the front desk to help the staff and who can adjust glasses, fill out repair orders, and handle pickups! There are Only 2 Eye marts in the NWA area, Put in a 3rd and 4th more money to be made. #ProblemSolved read more

Broke my glasses that I was currently wearing. I contemplated writing a review for a few weeks and figured I'd rather help others know what happened here. I walked in and was looking about and decided that I should get my glasses adjusted because they were loose. The associate took my glasses to be adjusted and within 5 minutes he walked up to me and said "uhm. So I broke your glasses when I was trying to tweak them" and because I had my newborn with me, I just said "okay". He said he "put glue on them" to try and fix them and he told me where they broke, at the temple.. but where they broke isn't what he told me, at all. The broke at the frame around the lens, not at the temple, so the frame really couldn't be glued together. Had I known this before walking out of the store (he shoved my glasses in a case because I ultimately was wanting to get a second pair of glasses), I would've brought it up, but I also had a crying baby and needed to leave. I didn't feel like he was supportive or caring about breaking my glasses and it almost felt intentional with how insincere the apology was. Honestly, I feel like he should've gotten a manager to comp something because nothing was actually wrong with that prescription, I just wanted a second pair just in case anything were to happen to those.. now I have no second pair. To recap, I went in just to look and get my glasses adjusted, he broke them with a weak apology and then I had to get new glasses because of the break. Nothing was more than just a "hey, I broke these. Sorry... I tried glue..." but I'm telling you, they're not fixed and the glue didn't mean anything. There's a huge gap in the frame where it almost looks like a chunk was taken out and they aren't able to be worn. Not to mention, they also didn't tell me about the upgrades they were adding were going to cost so much in order to be comparable to my current lenses.. even with insurance. They were acting like I was getting these cheap.. I spent 175 just on the lenses. read more

I bought some sunglasses here for the first time last week because I broke mine. I chose this business because they offered same day business, I broke my prescription glasses and needed them to drive. It is a first come-first served business and when I arrived there were about 5 people ahead of me, most to pickup their orders. The line went fairly quick. I was very impressed how personable they were with every person, making them feel comfortable. My order was completed in about 2 hours and I was in and out quickly. quick to take your money, then when you come back to pick up your glasses, which you can see without glasses, are sitting behind the counter, they leave you standing there for 30 minutes while they help new customers in a leisurely manner. finally, he came by me on his way to the bathroom and said to me "You can have a seat", at which point i said "Just hand me my glasses and I'll leave"! Then he runs behind the counter, crams my glasses in their cases and shoves them at me and says "Here". I went in to this optical with a five minute frame fix. I know this, because I spent 25 years of my life in the optical business. I signed in, circled "repair" and proceeded to wait. There were 3 " opticians" on the floor, all with patients . I waited, and finally, one was finished with her customer and proceeded to work on " the list." Anyone buying glasses or waiting to pick up glasses were all waited on, while I was ignored. I spent 35 minutes waiting to be called, while the people kept saying "that lady was here before me," and no worker even looked my way. I was running out of time, I knew any other choice I had was going to close soon. I walked out, went over to Walmart, and walked out with glasses fixed in 10 minutes. Never been there before, and I'll never go back. Horrible horrible customer service. read more

If you need glasses of any kind, this is the place to go! I've been going to the same optometrist for years. Since they couldn't get me in, I decided to go to the doc right next door to eyewear express in the Pleasant Grove/Rogers area. Even though they were out of network for my insurance, I still got 2 pair of glasses (lenses included of course) for $30. The service there is awesome. So many options, and they make them same day. Mine were ready in less than 30 minutes. Now I'm considering going back for sunglasses. Definitely recommend. read more

Came in on a Saturday and they were slammed. We had to wait for about 20 minutes for someone to assist us but it gave us enough time to find the glasses we wanted. The staff was very nice and greeted us once we came through the door. Although they were busy we got great costumer service. read more

I've been here many times. You either catch the downflow and you're in and out or you catch the rush and wait haha. The optometrist next door was AMAZING. Same day appointments for 2 kids, and the doctor took her time and did her job so well. Best optometrist my kids have ever seen, and even out of network, very affordable! On the optical side, we waited this time due to the rush, but once we were up, it was so fast. I wasn't even done ordering the second kid's glasses before the first kid's glasses were done. Aside from all of that, I had two school age boys in that little office for a couple hours after a one hour drive and a 2 hour appointment, and they were being......... boys. The staff was cracking jokes with my boys, calming them down, engaging them in conversation. This place is super affordable and every single person we encountered, directly or not, was just awesome. Any business with employees that happy must be doing something right. read more

best customer service! they were super busy but as soon as it was my turn the lady gave me all her attention and had great personality and suggested even a few ideas on some frames I had not tried on. when we came back to get them I was hopeful to get her again but was greeted by a gentleman that had the same great personality and very helpful even offer to adjust my friends glasses that were sliding down his face. I went in today to get some new glasses and was well impressed with this little store. I chose my frames, handed over my prescription (from the optometrist next door) and about an hour later I had two pairs of progressive lens eyeglasses. They were very personable and helpful and answered any questions I had. They accept insurance and have a great deal on glasses for people on a fixed income. I highly recommend it! read more

I have had nothing but great experiences at the Pleasant Grove location of Eyemart Express. They do get busy--but somebody always lets you know that you'll be helped ASAP. So many places ignore you or avoid eye contact--not this Eyemart! All the employees are helpful. When I picked up my new glasses, the guy who waited on me offered to check the glasses I was wearing. They turned out to have a loose screw and a bent nose-pad! I've worn glasses my whole life--so many pairs had problems after I'd waited for them a couple of weeks. Or, they were uncomfortable and took multiple adjustments before they were "right." I've never had a problem with any of my Eyemart Express glasses--each pair is as comfortable as the rest. These are all my current prescription--all progressives; I love having choices. The cost, the service and the "wait" (my last pair took 27 minutes!!!) make this my go-to optician. Brett and Jason really did a great job of helping me navigate my purchase. They helped me not necessarily with savings (although they did help me save a lot) but making sure I was going to be happy with what I bought with my insurance options. I was on vacation and realized I had left my eye glass at home. I was wearing my prescription sun glasses and opened my glass case realized my regular glasses were not in the case.
