She took the time to explain what I needed to know and hear as I tend to ignore my eye health until there is a glaring issue (no pun intended). I like that she suggested preventative measures to ensure that there is no long-term damage to my eyes. I'm torn about this place. On one hand, once you are there, they treat you well. They are super nice. I ran out of contacts and they had some for me to pick up for free. They try to take care of you. On the other hand, this place is really bougie. They made a mistake about what my insurance would cover, so I ended up getting billed after the fact. I came in with two insurances so to pay hundreds out of pocket was upsetting. They did eventually end up paying it after I complained. read more

I stated $80 in my review, because both my son and I visited at the same time, and were both assessed the $40 up charge=$80. Information that you are no doubt aware of, but curiously omitted from your comprehensive response. To suggest that your opinion with regard to the necessity of this additional exam component, somehow justifies you charging me money that I was not made aware of when I made the appointment, is ridiculous. It is simply bad business to add items to a sale or a service in a business transaction without making the customer aware of it until after the fact and then acting as though your opinion on whether or not the customer should've wanted these things is somehow relevant in justifying your actions. And a pushy sales tactics were also experienced by my wife who had visited your establishment prior to my appointment, and a friend who visited afterwards. read more

Wonderful staff and service, way over priced or they haven't got the insurance bit down. I have left several voicemails for the manager and no reply. Both my wife and I got eye exams and she added a contact fitment exam. I bought just lenses for my frames I purchased there two years ago and with VSP insurance I got billed almost 200 after already spending over 200 there. Wife had the same issue under the same insurance but was billed almost 400 after paying 300 there. Either the insurance wasn't submitted correctly or they are way to pricy. after several attempts to work it out with them I will never go back. read more

The doctors are really nice and knowledgeable, but the sales team needs lots of work. I took my 6-year-old there. He's got 20/20 vision, but the doctor still gave him a prescription for reading and screen protection purposes. After the exam, they brought over a few over-priced frames (around $300) for us. We both don't think he really needs it after all (more for prevention), I told them I would take the prescription, the sales lady became so pushy. The way she talked and acted like she wouldn't let me walk out without a glasses for my son. We love the doctors but wish for a better sale experience. read more

I loved my eye doctor in the Northeast and I have been hard pressed to find an equally as good or better here. After a quick google search, I stumbled on this place. I am so glad I did - the staff is amazing, they offer great brand eyeglasses, and the office is clean & equipped with high tech equipment. I love the designer eyeglasses they are selling - yes a tad pricey, but they will last years! The staff here is super knowledgeable about insurance policies and have great recommendations to maximize yours. During my last visit I walked with two pairs of glasses and contacts - all for a great price for what I bought! About a month into the glasses I broke one pair - the lovely ladies here ordered me a new pair at no charge - great customer service if you asked me! If you are looking for a new eye doctor, definitely make an appointment and get on in here. Oh and I purchased a yelp deal to make the final total even better! This is my second year going to Dr. S. for my annual check-ups and contact lens fittings. Her staff is pleasant both on the phone and in-person which helps make the scheduling process really easy. You may think that I only come here to get inspirations for interior design (Dr. S mentioned that she did most of the decorating herself!), but her staff is very thorough with cleaning all the equipment before use and with the insurance process as well. Just saw Dr S again. I was there a couple of years ago while on vacation...and I found myself in Dallas for work last week. Why not see her again?? I had scheduled a late morning appointment on Friday but got caught at the office. I called last minute to cancel, but they were able to reschedule me. Thank you! Still love the staff. When I arrived, I was given an iPad to update my contact details and some other personal info (keeping up with technology!). I liked that. The staff member gave me a quick walk through of what info they needed, and then left me to myself to complete it. Easy peasy. I also enjoyed an espresso. :-) I was encouraged to check out frames before the exam started, which I realized later was really important - need undilated eyes to get correct measurements! Good to know. I appreciate that Dr S carries frames for glasses and sunglasses that can hold a prescription. It would be frustrating to fall in love with frames, only to then be disappointed. Not so there! Whew. And, there was a 30% sale, so that was a lucky coincidence for me. Further, Dr S keeps the most recent styles - I happened to be in there when Dr S was speaking with what I would call a frames sales rep. I would say EyeQ carries high end frame styles that are on the conservative yet chic side. Some unique frames as well, which I appreciated. My exam was efficient again, and still thorough. She now has staff members that can start the process, which helps with timeliness. And Azia was great!! All in all, yet another experience that was great. So about a year and a half ago, I purchased these beautiful pair of Tiffany & Co glasses from here. The office staff is so friendly! It took me a long time to find the perfect frames and they were so patient and helpful! Anyways, a couple months ago, my glasses were stepped on and the lenses came off! I went months without wearing glasses... I finally went to Eye Q to see what could be done about my broken pair of glasses and to my surprise, not only did they FIX THEM, but they didn't charge me a dime.
