We came into the store and there were two other guests in the store and only one customer service representative. We came in to get an adjustment with my daughter's glasses. We waited over 20+ minutes and were never acknowledged by the representative until he was free to service us. The management needs to look into ensuring there is enough coverage to take care of customers and train them on customs and courtesy. read more

I loved this place! 1st time getting glasses (thanks 40+ ). The service was outstanding! I wish I had the name of the young lady who worked with us to give her a shot out. She was incredible! I think both my husband and I were there maybe 30 mins total? And we both got glasses. I got a pair and my husband got 2. They also have wonderful frames, very modern and affordable prices. I really enjoyed my in-store experience at Warby Parker. Once we entered the store, we were kindly greeted and introduced to an employee who further helped us. Before coming in, I used their app to virtually try on some frames. I showed the employee the frames I liked and she showed us the general area that those styles were located in. I liked that it was organized by style and it felt really intuitive. Additionally, the store was clean and tidy. Being in Legacy West, I expected it to be super packed but it was not overly busy in the store to where I had to wait to pick up a pair of frames to try on. I appreciated that we were able to shop around and take our time looking, but still had the employee nearby if we had questions. Once I selected the glasses I wanted, the employee helped me through the checkout process which was super simple. While I haven't received my frames yet, I received a shipping confirmation the same day I placed the order. I was happy to see that they were shipping out quickly. Guys, I love my glasses and the way they look on me and I hope you'll get a pair and feel the same way. I prefer wearing contacts but I've gotten the most compliments on my blue frames and feel confident to go out wearing them. They're sturdy , good quality and every location I've been to in TX, the workers are attentive and knowledgeable. Warby Parker is awesome. I've had prescription eyeglasses since I was a wee child in ninth grade, so I have a little bit of experience in shopping for eyeglasses. I used to spend hundreds of dollars on a single pair of eyeglasses until a friend told me about Warby Parker. The prices are stellar by comparison and I will definitely never go back to places like LensCrafters. The frames are stylish, and there are a variety of options, including blue light filter lenses. You can get prescription sunglasses as well. No only that, but with the ongoing pandemic, they have made it easy to do everything online, something they were already fantastic at. You can even update your eyeglass prescription on their website if your prescription hasn't changed very much. I did that earlier last year and it worked like a charm. (My wife also did it, but it told us she needs to go in and see an optometrist because her eyesight has changed a little too much, so they couldn't just renew her old prescription). They also cannot do anything regarding a contact lens prescription, so you still want to go see your optometrist for that. As for the physical location on Windsor, the staff is always on their A game. Polite, courteous, and happy to answer any questions and make the process easier. With Covid they've also adapted quite well. Right now you can go into the location and they give you a tray that has been wiped down and cleaned, where you can try on glasses off of the shelves, but rather than putting them back on the shelf you put them in the tray so when you're done they can be cleaned first. You can also take some of the display frames just outside the store where they have tables and a few mirrors so you can take off your mask and see what you look like normally. I highly recommend this location and the company in general. I will continue to buy from them and I can't wait for my new frames to arrive later this month! read more

I appreciate this Warby Parker location at Legacy West in Plano. This store is easily accessible from that narrow parking garage on Dallas Pkwy. I have been wearing glasses almost all my life but I choose Warby Parker because of the comfort and price. I love the business model and appreciate how a prescription pair of fashionable glasses is only $95 bucks. Some of the mental frames go for $145. If you would like blue light it's an additional $50 bucks. Experience: Those workers in blue vest are there to help if you need a second opinion on which glasses look best on your face. I understand that everyone has a different shaped face but there is a big difference in picking your eye glasses if you start paying attention to the size (wide, narrow, medium) of your nose bridge. Finally, some people are scared to interact with Warby Parker staff because they are going to try to up sell you on a frame of glasses. The reality is they are there to help should you have any questions. The people holding the ipad are part of the whole Warby Parker experience. The salesman was helpful and provided his opinion when asked BUT the frames once received seem cheap and feel as if they will break easily. I have TRIED many, many times to schedule an appointment with the Legacy West location website and also no one answers the phone, ever. The entire weekend the website was down so I also could not book an appointment. It is their requirement to boopk an appointmentbut they don't provide the means to make an appointment; by keeping the website available. First, I must shout out to the Warby Parker Representatives at North Park on August 28th. I didn't see his name badge but he had two braids in a man bun while training a new employee and working with me. They both were very professional and friendly. We loved the professionalism and respect given. However, my eye doctor gave me a prescription for sunglasses on the next day. So on Friday I went to Warby Parker at Legacy in Frisco near my home. Ben / CSR acknowledged us and he wore a mask and I was thankful for him wearing a mask. Even though another CSR came from the back. I wanted to stay with Ben ( he had his name badge on a mask). Ben told my husband and I to take a look around and he'd come back to us and joined behind the counter with his co workers. One of his immature and insecure co-workers made comment to Ben that I discerned that were negative toward me and my husband. It's not rocket science, I spent almost $1000 at Warby Parker. I usually get my glasses from my eye doctors office. I saw Warby Parker online and thought about trying the frames. But insecure and immature employees are a torn off. Hopefully my reading glasses and sunglasses are great. But I don't patronize a business to be disrespected by an insecure employee. Please talk to your employee about customer service because he looked and acted as if he didn't belong in a business whose trying to grow and prosper. read more

Excellent customer service. Beautiful store. Great selection of glasses. The team is very knowledgeable and helpful in choosing a new pair of frames. The staff steers you in the direction of your ideal pair (not the most expensive ones.) They said it would take 7-10 business days to arrive, mine were here in 6! It's so convenient that they come to me instead of the store. If yours need to be molded (I asked, it's free) you can pop into the store. They were also very helpful in directing me on how to get reimbursed by my insurance and emailed me a PDF receipt catered towards mine. Onto quality, superb. These glasses are leagues better than ones I've bought from other stores. They were so much cheaper, even forgoing insurance, than any pair I have bought before. They give you the best of everything in the lens. The frames feel sturdy, secure, and the prescription is perfect. The packaging was safe and attractive. The shipping was quick and the tracking was hassle-free. I will 100% be purchasing another pair from this company. The service and knowledge of this location is 5 stars. Ben assisted me and answered all questions relating to their product, shipping, repairs etc. Ben was patience and never "sells pushy" he made this visit perfect. My product came with a year warranty on scratches & breakage, hugh plus if you have little ones who wear their products. I've never had a bad experience here! I've always loved Warby Parker and was so excited when they opened a storefront in Plano. I've gone three times to seriously check out frames-- the first time was for my prescription lenses, second for prescription sunglasses, and third for my sister's prescription lenses. Every time the sales associates have been so helpful! They are incredibly knowledgeable and offer plentiful suggestions on what frames you're looking for. The checkout process is quick and painless, even using insurance! I also went to get my glasses tightened, and it was a breeze, and Tamara (I hope that's the right name!) was a wizard! She tightened my glasses (for free!) perfectly in no time. I love this place! My only advice would be not to settle if you're not feeling any of them, even if you really want new frames right this second, because Warby Parker is constantly making new frames that replace the old ones, so maybe wait a few weeks and check back! read more

A bit strange though that the glasses I bought and brought back to Warby Parker to adjust can't be fully centered on my face "due to natural asymmetry in every person", when the example frame that I tried on in-store was centered on my face perfectly (according to both a store optician and myself)...perhaps the measurements they took of my facial width/measurements to fit me originally were wrong? read more

I'm writing this review outside of the store. If I come in to look around obviously I'm interested in purchasing glasses. If I'm in your tiny store for 10 minutes and no one even says hello or acknowledges my presence, that is truly a problem. I came all the way to Legacy specifically to look at glasses at Warby Parker that I'd picked out online and I just wanted to speak with someone to ask them questions. It's so very sad that most brands don't understand or care about the importance of customer service. No matter how busy you are with another customer, you should still acknowledge someone as they walk in. To make matters worse, as I'm looking at glasses on my list at one point there were 2 associates standing right beside me putting away glasses and neither one of them asked me if I'd been helped or if I needed anything. I'm assuming I don't look the part. Very disappointing to say the least. read more

Awful in-person experience. Came to this store during the coronavirus pandemic and black lives matter crisis and as I waited next-in-line (outside) to be attended, the store clerk (Megan) looked right past me and asked the person behind me how could she help them. That's when I spoke up and said "Excuse me but I was next." She didn't even apologize for overlooking me but proceeded to ask me what I was there for through her rose gold Warby Parker's and piercing blue eyes. I explained to her that I was ready to finalize my order (since I tried on the 5 pairs at home) and she told me "Sorry but the in-person experience takes about 20 minutes and we're not taking any more customers." It was 6:41 and furthermore if you weren't taking anymore customers then why did you take the man behind me and two other people after that? That's when I left the store and met with my mom who was parking the car in the garage. I proceeded to tell my mom about what just happened and she couldn't understand why the girl just skipped over me like that. Was it because I look young (even though I'm almost 20)? Or was it because I'm a black female and was being discriminated against in an affluent neighborhood? In an area like this (Plano/Frisco) I wouldn't be surprised if it was the latter. It's happened before in this same shopping center when my mom and I have been shopping. Our white counterparts will be greeted and tended to while we get asked nothing. I was really upset as I was telling my mom all of this that I began to get teary eyed because I was really looking forward to finalizing my order but felt like I had simply been dismissed, like I just didn't matter much if at all. That's when my mom told me to wait in the car and that she was going to ask to speak with a store manager. She came back and told me Lauren (one of the managers) said that they would see us after explaining all that we had been through; we drove here all the way from Denton and even called the 1800 warbyparker.com CS number just to ensure that the store did indeed close at 6PM and we could be seen since we knew we'd be cutting it short. Thanks Lauren for trying to turn things around for us. In the end, I really loved their frames but had to go home and pray over things because the last thing I want to do is hand over my hard earned money to a retailer that employs people that could be potentially racist. Oh and the three other customers that were gleefully helped after us by yes-Megan were all white. Makes you wonder especially in this current social climate. read more

My experience can best be described as 'eh'. Legacy West is super nice but this place is a huge miss. They don't have a great selection of frames, and they're all pretty much the same style. Think 'I want to be a hipster and look like I don't care but I actually care a lot'. The frames are poor quality and the staff is kind of snotty. But I guess you can't expect anything too great for glasses that cost around $100-150. Gonna be a naw for me. read more

I have been getting both my prescription glasses and sunglasses from Warby Parker for years. Not only are their retro frames rad, but for every pair purchased one is donated to someone in need. You can do everything online and have 5 trial pairs sent to you for free to try on in the comfort of your own home, or you can come in to one of their shiny new brick and mortar locations like I did this past weekend. Unlike most stores I've been to where you are pounced on the second you walk in, here they maintain their distance so that you can try on frames in peace. When you are ready for help, then they will gladly come over to assist. The lady who checked us out couldn't have been nicer. It makes it easier if you have your prescription handy, as then you can just hand it over for them to enter into the order form. After confirming my shipping and billing information, she swiped my card and sent a paperless receipt directly to my email. They don't accept insurance as a form of payment, but they will ask if you would like a PDF receipt sent as well that you can simply download and attach to your insurance claim for a refund. She gave me a two week estimated arrival date, but said they usually ship sooner than that. She was right too as it's only been 4 days and I got an email this morning saying they would be here within 24-48 hours. Completely painless process from beginning to end. I've never had an issue shopping with Warby Parker or their customer service, and will continue to use them for years to come. I can't wait to get my beautiful new rose gold frames, and will be back in a few months when my eye insurance renews for new shades as well. read more

Stunning location in Shops at Legacy West (near Barnes & Nobles). I've stopped in three times, with the first just to confirm that this in fact is a brick and mortar Warby Parker location. Check. I was with my mom the second time, and learned that you can bring your Warby's there to get cleaned and adjusted anytime! Super helpful staff. I also tried on a few frames while waiting for a technician, which leads me to my third visit. I had a PDF of my prescription sent to me by my optometrist. The staff at Warby Parker was able to take a photo of that PDF and process my order! However, I heard that they do prefer if you have a printout. Ultimately I chose a rose gold metal frame that I LOVE LOVE LOVE. In total, I was able to order my prescription glasses under 15 minutes. Walk into the store in North Park and it was down hill from there. Glasses arrived a week ago no contact call the help desk in Nashville no local contact. They assure us the glasses are ready at the store. Drive 30 miles to be told the glasses are flawed and have to be reordered. Horrible customer service and communication. This place is ridiculous in so many ways. I placed an order on a Wednesday for 5 glasses to try through their website. The next day, I walked in and walked out with an order. Two days, my glasses were sitting in my mailbox. Wow. I paid a total of $250(?) because I reluctantly agreed to go with lenses that darken when exposed to UV lights. Otherwise the total would be $130(?). This is without using vision insurance. And after 30 days if I don't wish to have this feature, WP will give me the same but brand new glasses without the darken lenses and $100 in credit. So if I paid an extra $30, I can have another pair of glasses! To summarize, the great things about this place are the price points, customer service (when not super busy), the turnaround time, and the various selection of styles. read more

I went into this Warby Parker store on 3 separate occasions trying on glasses and comparing prices from other stores I was deciding between. Each time I was warmly greeted and they even remembered me!
