This wonderful office got me in for an urgent situation and I was treated so well. From the first phone call inquiring about availability to the end of the visit I was taken care of by the staff in a professional and truly caring manner. They took the time to listen to my concerns and the exam itself was very extensive and put my worries to rest. I will be going here from now on as will my husband. From the staff preparing you for your exam, i.e. checking with your insurance company to verify the patient's portion of the charges etc. to Dr. Lao's exam and everything in between. Summary: Dr. Lao is an amazing optometrist and great with kids. The staff are really friendly and provide great customer service. The waiting room is very modern, comfortable and inviting. During COVID-19, they have been doing a great job to make sure everyone is safe and protected. We went to Eyes in Sight to get a second opinion on mother in law for her right eye. Before her visit, she could barely see with her right eye. After a thorough evaluation, Dr. Lao recommended her to have cataract surgery. This was something the other doctor did not suggest. Following her recommendation, we had the surgery and it was very successful. The doctor said that she went from legally blind on her right eye to 20/25. Praise God! She can see better using her right eye than her left eye. We owe it to Dr. Lao for taking the time to do a thorough and comprehensive evaluation. Today, my mother in law's vision is the best ever thanks to Dr. Lao. Since that visit, we take our entire family to see Dr. Lao. read more

Highlight: Dr. Lao is a very knowledgeable optometrist, 10 star-service (5 for good optometry service and bonus 5 for going above and beyond), friendly staffs, nice office. We went to Eyes in Sight for a second opinion because my mom was diagnosed with having blindness on her right eye by another optometrist. Dr. Lao took her time and thoroughly checked my mom's eyes and confirmed she's is not blind in her right eye. Dr. Lao's also obtained previous eye exam records to learn why my mom's lazy eye got worsen in short amount of time to make sure there's nothing else going on. At first, I was merely dropping by to visit and get a consultation on my eye health, but after the very thorough eye examination, I have a clear picture of my eyesight and eye health! We were just in today. I have been going here for a few years and have always had a good experience. Today my daughter was getting her eyes checked too. She was nervous because it was her first time ( she's 7 years old). She was also nervous about the thought of getting glasses. The nurse was so nice and sweet to her about getting glasses.
