The offices are clean and the technology is up to date. I was offered a digital scan for pupil dilation instead of the drops. So - if your don't like those drops, there is an alternative option. I met with optometrist Stacy Turner and she was very nice. She was also very thorough with her explanations. She was very willing to answer anyone of my questions. I was then handed of to another person to explain my insurance benefits. Overall, the staff was very welcoming from start to finish. I'm very surprised to see so many negative reviews. I think this is a great place to get an eye exam.

Emailed them and they happily exchanged for a pair of metal Raybands, Nick was super professional, had my new frame picked out in under five mins. Great recommendation and only took a week to come in with upgraded lenses. Picked them up this morning and they're great, nicely adjusted and look stylish. Amber was on the phone and did not even acknowledge us. Theresa was with someone else and then came straight to me to ask for insurance and ID with an attitude?! We just sat there for a bit before asking when we would be seen or just a conversation that the appt is running late would've been nice. When I asked when we would be seen, Amber was rude and snarky in her response, the time she gave was actually delayed and not the right time we actually came in. Thank goodness I cancelled my other child's appointment. But when I did, I did not know my son had the second appointment so we had to move things around again to make it to this appointment just to have such a poor experience. The lady who did the Right Eye was nice, so I will acknowledge that. My experience with Dr. Barry was mediocre at best. She was not sweet at all to us. Maybe the office is used to all white patients and does NOT know how to treat people of color. I felt unwelcomed and rushed out of there. We got RX for prism glasses, Dr. Barry barely wanted to explain. When I called around to get them ordered, I was told they are very specialized glasses and he was surprised we did not have them fitted in the office, since most optical places do not have proper training to do them. It also seems like they schedule their new patient appointments too close together. She was rushing us out of there because it was almost closing time. We spent $330, and for that amount of $$, I expected a WAY better experience.

He's very bright and hardworking so it was a frustrating mystery. Dr. Berry found that his near vision had few issues that were quickly addressed. She gave him prism glasses and he completed vision therapy. The therapy requires dilligence, but my son quickly bought in as he noticed the effects within a few weeks. My son is now a thriving second grader who feels very good about himself and how well he can read. Kendra, his vision therapist is also fantastic.

I see doctor Gaddis this year for an issue and while I am in the waiting room, her front office was rude and made humiliating jokes at my expense. I go in to see Dr Gaddis and she acted like I was wasting her time and rushed me out. She also has this amazing camera that takes a picture of your entire eyeball, and she told me that shows so much of what she needs to see on/in your eye, that she rarely dilates. I'm doing the same process and went on a month ago to arrange similar project for my surgery Greeting was meh The tech, not the greater began helping me He seemed to struggle with my request, so I decided to forget the process Now today My husband returned to bring in my PEARLE VISION frames for the same process, remove one lense and replace with clear non RX lense to help guard my surgical eye until the following week when 2nd eye would be done. i was going to replace my other RX both clear and sunglasses to non-RX sunglasses So staff was in an "I can't be bothered mood" and shut my husband down and dismissing, his request and saying I don't know if we can etc... blaming lab issues not letting get his questions answered etc So off he goes Happened to stop in Walmart where service could not have been easier! We started with Dr Jason Bullajian, then we were transferred to Dr Valerie Barnett. We got a notification from the doctor's office that Dr Barnett was not longer with the practice. We are the kind of people that like to stick with one Doctor; so we had made our decision that this probably was the last time that would visit this office. After meeting Dr Kim, we decided to continue to with TVLC. Also we met Abeer, the medical technician, a very nice person and the examination was great. The front desk receptionist, Rhonda, is very friendly and courteous.

In 2023, I underwent cataract surgery and elected to pay out-of-pocket for upgraded lenses with the…read moreexpectation of improved vision. Approximately nine months later, I began experiencing visual disturbances and followed the advice of the surgery center to return to My Eye Dr in Murphy. I was told at that visit that the issue was "just floaters" and not cause for concern. When the symptoms did not resolve, I returned to the surgery center, where I was informed that my retina had detached -- a condition they did not treat -- and I was referred to a retina specialist. The specialist diagnosed me with a retinal detachment affecting approximately 75% of my retina, requiring emergency surgery that involved placement of a scleral buckle. The buckle changed the shape of my eye and rendered the upgraded lenses I had paid for unusable. Then, in July 2025, my right eye also experienced a retinal detachment. I am currently still recovering from this second major surgery. I can honestly say that this has been the worst medical experience of my life. Not only was there a significant delay in diagnosing a sight-threatening condition despite my efforts to seek help early, but I also feel the situation was mishandled at multiple points. The consequences have been life-altering, both financially and physically. I am sharing this in the hopes that no one else has to endure the same level of frustration, suffering, and loss of vision that I have experienced.
