What a terrific experience. This was an office visit that most of us hope for, yet rarely encounter. This is a private optometry office offering first rate medical care. Every aspect of this visit was great. From the moment I walked through the front door, I was greeted warmly and attentively by the front desk staff. after a brief, wait, I was taken into the examination room by the doctor's assistant. Preliminary eye testing was done prior to the doctors visit. This was a very professional yet personable procedure. Dr Beth then entered the exam room. with a warm and friendly, hello and introduced herself. I felt immediately at ease and experienced a refreshingly, thorough and professional examination. Dr. Beth looks at you and really listens to your issues. I never felt rushed. I truly felt that I had 100% of the doctors focus and concern. Picking out new frames was a fun experience. The optician I worked with was great. In addition, several of the office staff offered their opinions on my frames (when I asked them) making it all a very personal experience. There is truly something very special about a private medical office versus the large corporate medical offices. The difference that matters to me is the personal touch and experience that comes with a private practice. You are not just a "number",you matter to them as a person/patient, and your overall satisfaction is their goal. This office is first rate and you should look no further for great eye care. I do like Dr Frankel. She is very thorough. I did call this morning because I needed to see if I could get in to see her because during the night my eye started burning and tearing all thru the nite. Still the same when I got up and I noticed a big bubble towards the top of my eye. I had not done anything to my eye that I was aware of so I was a bit concerned since other internal issues can be made aware of in the eyes. I relayed that to the gal and I'm sure she felt my anxiety but told me there were no openings to see the doctor today...didn't even try. So I don't need that kind of treatment. Eye'll be back! What a fantastic experience I had recently at Eyes on Hayden. Easy process to call for appointment; easy check in process with all medical info/history provided paperlessly online ahead of the appointment. The office is located at The Village at Hayden which is a great location next to the Lake Maguerite (x streets Hayden Road/Via De Ventura). This retail center is adorable and has an abundance of parking, restaurants and retail amenities (Yoga, dry Cleaners, etc). Walking in the front door you get a sense of the clean chic/boutique feel that the office exudes. Everyone is welcoming and friendly. Santana performed my pre-doctor consult taking all necessary notes to my file. Dr. Candria Krywko is classy, very personable and one smart cookie when it comes to her craft. She taught me things about dry eye and the tear glands that I had never been advised about in any of my visits to my previous opthalmologist. Dr. Hoppert was a great optometrist and I'd highly recommend her. She is thorough, knowledgeable, and performed a comprehensive general exam during my visit. There was a long forty-five minute wait to see her, but it sounded like they were backed up and it was a one-time delay. Her staff is helpful and educated as well. Kate, the front-desk woman / optician, helped me with my insurance details and started my checkup process. Janet helped me with paying and finding and ordering my new glasses, and she was very sweet, too! I previously went to another private practice but after subpar front office communication and odd insurance billing, I wanted to make a change. Enter Eyes on Hayden. This team is INCREDIBLE. They are all SO kind, caring, and fun. My experience with the team started before I was even a patient. I had called with an emergency eye issue after I wasn't able to get ahold of my old doctor's office. Sydney was helping me figure out my situation, adding me to the emergency visit list and calling and texting me updates. She was also able to help me schedule my first appointment and help me figure out my insurance issues during this time too. Their team of doctors and staff are absolutely top notch. They know what great customer service and communication look like. I had so much fun visiting them for my annual check up and shared so many laughs with Betsy while we picked out new glasses frames. I moved here from Texas and made an appointment to see this eye doctor, Beth Frankl. The office visit was fine and I did get my prescription. It took her about three weeks to get the prescription to me after leaving a message. Then, when I wanted to order colored contacts, she told me I had to come in and get another examination. It's the same thing. I just don't like when doctors try to nickel and dime us to death. I won't go back and I will tell everyone not to go here. It's just WRONG! read more

I had a really good experience at this eye doctor. I came here because I was having trouble seeing far away and it was becoming difficult to drive. I saw Dr. Candria Krywko, who listened to my concerns and took the time to find the right contact lens prescription for me. Dr. Krywko fitted me with Bausch & Lomb INFUSE contacts, and from the minute I put them on I felt relief. Not only could I see perfectly, but I could not feel them in my eyes at all. I wore them for few days to test them out, and at the end of each day they still felt good. Plus they are easy to remove at the end of the day. Dr. Meharry has nailed all-of-the-above, and she makes a the normally mundane and painfully routine process of eye exams enjoyable. I have been in need of glasses basically my whole life. When school started they perform a standard eye exam that never detected the misalignment of my eyes. Needless to say reading was NEVER easy for me which also made school difficult as well. I skated by not knowing this could have been corrected with the right Optician.
