Have been going here for years for my glasses. Susan and Lorree have always been extremely warm, welcoming, and helpful. However, I stopped coming for eye appointments because they didn't take my insurance for a while. But then when they finally took it again, they told me I must get the photos done for an extra charge even though I get them done every six months or so at an ophthalmologist, and that just doesn't seem like a good business practice by not making the photos optional. read more

I came here for an eye exam and LINDA was absolutely amazing she was very kind and helpful she made my experience welcoming and less scary. She makes this location great. However Lorene was not nice and had an attitude towards me. If you make an appointment here definitely ask for LINDA. She will get you right. read more

I had an accident while playing with my friend's toddler. He accidently kicked off my glasses and the lenses popped out/loosen the screws on my eyeglass frame. I explained to the person at the counter that I had bought my glasses at LensCrafters a few years before. This was on a Saturday afternoon. They repaired my glasses and they were ready by Monday. I booked an appointment weeks ago to have my eyes examined and a contact lens fitting. I received a call a day before the appointment on Sunday at 7 pm stating they could not accommodate me due to a first-time contact lens exam and eyeglasses. This was very disappointing because I planned appointments around this exam for my eyes. This particular location did NOT have the courtesy of calling me days in advance to reschedule my appointment nor the ability to inform me who made the appointment at 5 PM that was apparently an error on their part. If they were not able to accommodate this exam, please let customers know days in advance not on Sunday at 7 PM when the appointment was for the following day. However, the business hours mentioned they close at 8 PM. Very disappointing and unacceptable business practices! read more

Sales person was very helpful when purchasing. I have had my lenses for less than a year and transition lenses starting to peel adn show signs of wear ans tear. My previous glasses from another retailer are 3 years old with no signs of wear. When I went to lens crafter store they told me i should have bought the insurance sine there is no guarantee on the lenses. It seems to me that if don't buy the insurance you shouldn't buy glasses from them. Inferior quality lenses. Needless to say I feel that I wasted my money on these glasses. read more

Let me start by saying that by now, it is common knowledge that LensCrafters is not cheap and is not the place to go if you are looking for a bargain. If you need cheap glasses and can wait over 2 weeks to get them, check out America's Best. However, if you are like me and need glasses ASAP, Lenscrafters is a decent option. The selection is good; has both high end options and more affordable brands as well. If you don't see anything you like in the displays, they will take out more options from underneath the displays, that's how I found the pair of glasses I eventually picked. The staff are really friendly, but at the end of the day, they are also salespeople. They have quotas they have to make so of course they are going to encourage the highest priced lenses and packages, that's what they are supposed to do. However, the lady that was helping me was not pushy at all and answered all the questions I had about pricing honestly. I ended up picking standard lenses instead of the premium ones she encouraged and it wasn't a big deal. Also, my insurance ended up covering some of the cost of my glasses so that helped. It never hurts to have them check to see if your insurance will help cover costs. They said it would take up to an hour to make the glasses but it only took them like 25 or so minutes to make my glasses so that was very convenient. Overall, I had a good experience and will come back again in the future. read more

Worst service ever. No one wants to help. Called the store and got transferred all over without warning me they were transferring me. Didn't want to help and look up my previous visits and insurance to confirm how much my exams were going to be. She said I could take my business elsewhere and hung up the phone on me. I didn't call back I refuse to call back and give them my business. Cakes FourEyes and got my appointment with all the help and information I needed. LensCrafters will never see a penny from me again. This is going on every social media platform and review websites. This review date is February 26th 2020 and that's when I called maybe around 12-2. It was two females that I talked to that day. They Refused to repeat the name and hung up saying take my business elsewhere. read more

I made an appointment here to get an eye exam, not ever having glasses before I didn't really know how the process worked. I walked in and there were no available associates, not even someone to greet me, so I stood around awkwardly until a guy at one of the desks told me someone would be with me soon. So I was browsing the frames and then I heard a lady's behind me say, "how can I help you?" I turn around and I'm about to tell her about my appointment but she was actually talking to a customer who has just walked in. After she directs the people who came in after me, I tell her I have an appointment, and she just stares at me. Eventually she tells me to go to the doctor part of the store, which I didn't even know existed. I go in and start filling out my paperwork, which I could have started ten minutes earlier had I been directed properly. The receptionist was very short with me, and when I told her my insurance, she curtly told me that they don't accept it without so much of a "sorry." That being said, I obviously should have called ahead of time to find that out to avoid this total waste of time, so that's my bad. And even though I never even saw the doctor, I did get to witness him interact with a customer while I was in the waiting room. He came out, and just gestured to his customer with his hand to come forward. No hello how are you, I'm doctor so and so. Completely unprofessional. Basically, terrible customer service. I went to Eyes of Wellington in the same mall and found much better customer service. read more

Horrible service. My husband took my father in law in today with broken glasses. They said his eye exam was older than 5 years so he needed a new eye exam. He said fine, let's do it. No one in there, lady said no can't do it for you now. Then said they can't make his glasses anymore. Not helpful. Not nice. We will never go there again or any LensCrafters for that matter. Instead of trying to find a solution they just said they would not help. Terrible. read more

My experience here was more than 5 stars worthy. From the moment i stepped in to the moment I left everything went smoothly. I went in initially for an eye exam and after filling out the paper work I was seen pretty close to the time of my appointment. Wendy was great in the beginning tests and then I saw the actual doctor. He did the exam and was patient with me when I kept going back and forth and couldn't make up my mind. He also didn't push for the eye drops since he was satisfied with the initial glance at my eyes. It was nice that he didn't push them on me and made me feel comfortable. After that he wrote up my prescription my mom and I went to look at frames, and that's where Susan came in and she was such a great help. After picking the frames I wanted she checked our insurance even though we told her not to because we didn't think we had any. It turned out we did and saved so much money and it was so appreciated that she checked anyways. We even got some of a return from the eye check up as well. Everyone there is always such a big help and they know what they're talking about. There is always someone to help when they can and they always try and engage in conversations which is also greatly appreciated!! read more

I am often last minute in eyeglasses and this leads me to be a repeat offender at Lenscrafters. Their eyeglasses are way overpriced in exchange for convenience and possibly being able to get your glasses the same day. To get progressive lenses in my existing frames was quoted at over $450. New average priced frames with lenses can cost over $500 easy. I have been dealing with this store for years and I have never met salespeople who are so universally snarky and condescending. They do not offer what I consider to be branded high quality lenses like Crizal. Unfortunately, if you need quick same-day eyeglasses or are too busy to go back and forth to a less convenient store, Lenscrafters is the dirty vacuum that keeps sucking me in. You just plain get the sense that they view each customer as a target. Their pricing is less than transparent and can be different from visit to visit. Their sales are frequent and always misleading. There is a AAA discount that does provide some savings but the prices above are reflective of that. Better quality and much better service are available at Eyes of Wellington, also located within the Wellington Green mall but no same-day service. read more

I have had the WORST experience there. i spent over $1,200 on glasses (progressives) and the troll working behind the counter (4'9,, 180lb woman) name Gina kept insisting that she was an expert and that the lenses must be made wrong. It's been 5 days and I can't see. She is a horrible monster and as long as they employ people like that - they will forever be a bad place to patronize. read more
