That said, we were going to make our semi-annual trip to Ferndale this past weekend and we were disappointed to see that prices for ground turkey didn't just go up in price, but had doubled (according to the website) since we last purchased over the summer. We had just bought a Ferndale turkey for Thanksgiving and it didn't seem like prices had doubled at that time. Love the product, disappointed that it's now cost-prohibitive. We traveled from River Falls, WI to buy from them and now we can no longer afford it.

Alright. This place gets a lot of love as you can see by the other reviews. I usually change up my seasonings on how I prepare it but everyone is happy. Honestly, this review is for the little store at Ferndale. It has all sorts of things in there that are unique and you won't see available at the regular places. The other thing is that the prices are decent and the quality is good. From cheeses, snacks to other meats and more. But what I'm writing about are the Chef Martin Käsekrainer Brats that they carry. A tasting was happening and I was blown away so I bought myself a package and just had them last night. Think cheese brats but made with an Austrian knowledge and swiss cheese vs cheddar. Wow! So good. So there it is. If you see Chef Martin brand brats, you should definitely try them. #chefmartinsausage #eatbettersausage

I don't shop there often due to such poor quality food. I have gotten meat that is bad to the point where the smell when I cut open the pack makes me sick. I have gotten different food from the deli that is not edible due to being spoiled or just bad. We even got some puppy chow made in the store that was wet!! I have taken food back a couple times but don't ever take an exchange. People are generally nice but poor quality food! Won't be back anymore and will encourage others not to go either based on my experiences? :(

I started straight back as I could see meat cases. I encountered an employee and asked him where I would find frozen meals? He directed me to aisle 15...the other end of the store. To my joy there was a bench at the end of aisle 15!! I sat down for a rest before getting my items. More grocery stores should have benches!! Sometimes it can be a daunting task. Thank you!! Iguess Festival must bag your groceries as I saw several lanes w Self Bag signs, which I prefer. The cashier and I made two phone number attempts for a savings card. Eventually I was issued one. It also made me smile when I arrived and saw their different designated parking spots, besides just Hanicapped! I appreciated that the Veteran sign also had grattirude on it. Thank you Festival for a swift and easy shopping task this morning!
