Five stars, without hesitation! EZ Kayak Tours & Rentals lived up to the Yelp reviews that led me to them, and then some. We were hosting out-of-town guests, and I was in charge of booking. The others had kayaking experience, but this was my first time. I was comparing prices, launch times and reviews, not thinking about kayak lengths or seat styles. Thankfully, Gio thought of the things I didn't even know to ask about. The website made it easy to see available time slots and choose single or tandem kayaks. We booked four singles and received a text from Gio shortly afterward. When I mentioned my husband was over 6'4", he offered to reserve a longer kayak for him. I would never have known to request that, and I really appreciated the thoughtfulness. Communication was excellent from start to finish. Emails and texts covered what to wear, what to bring, what was included, where to park and when to arrive. The online waivers were easy, and the reminders before our trip left us with no unanswered questions. They even reminded us about the park entrance fee. Our military pass covered that, and parking itself was free. We found plenty of spaces when we arrived, even on Labor Day. Several companies launch from the same area, so we did have to ask around briefly to find our group. That was the only small moment of confusion, it's a small launch area and it was quickly sorted out. Gio greeted everyone and got us set up. They provided life jackets, hats if needed, dry bags and phone pouches on lanyards so we could still take pictures. Each kayak also had two bottles of water and a snack box packed with granola bars, peanut butter crackers, chips and bananas. These were not skimpy little snacks! We were told to take home anything we didn't eat. The Wilderness Systems brand kayaks were in great condition and very comfortable. Most of us had 12-foot kayaks, and my husband had a 14-foot one. I felt sturdy and secure in the sit-in kayak and never felt like I was about to tip over. Getting in and out was much easier than I expected. Between Gio's safety briefing and our guide Russ's paddling instructions, I felt comfortable getting started. Russ was fantastic and made me so glad we chose a guided tour. He pointed out plants, shared local history and helped us look for wildlife. We saw a turtle and a bald eagle's nest high on the cliff, although the bighorn sheep stayed out of sight that day. At Emerald Cave, Russ helped us get in position and explained how to back in so we could paddle out easily. He also took photos of our whole group together, which meant none of us had to be missing from the pictures. Those are memories I'll cherish, and he AirDropped the photos to us afterward so we had them right away. On the return trip, we stopped at a beach to enjoy our snacks and took a short walk up to an overlook with a beautiful view of the river we had just paddled. Russ showed us the old river gauger's home site and also pointed out the cliffside catwalk, cable car and river-measuring structures along our route. We would have missed so much of that history on our own. We went on Labor Day Monday, a non-motorized day, and absolutely loved how peaceful it felt. There was plenty of room to paddle, float, talk and enjoy the scenery alongside other kayakers and paddleboarders. I would definitely choose a non-motorized day again. When we returned, Gio was waiting on the beach, waving and taking pictures of us coming in, just as he had promised. He sent those to us later, giving us even more photos of our day. Getting ashore and returning our gear was easy, too. They really took care of us from beginning to end. And don't forget to tip your guide. Russ certainly earned our appreciation! We've lived here for seven years, and my only regret is not doing this sooner. A group of ladies & I had an amazing experience with EZ Kayak for my sister in-law's bachelorette excursion!!! I was in charge of planning the excursion for a total of 14 people, and everything went smoothly from booking the excursion to getting on the water and wrapping up the trip, all thanks to Gio, the owner of this amazing family owned business! What I loved most about EZ Kayak was the excellent communication. Gio was incredibly easy to reach and communicates throughout the process. I love how transparent he is with everything! Had my first and best experience Kayaking and I couldn't be more happy we booked with this company. The ease of communication to book a large group down to getting us out on the kayaks. Everything was smooth and exactly what I wish all services provided. Gio was very hospitable and ensured we as first time kayakers had the best experience. Add'l things that elevated this rental: 1. The wifi which was so needed in a very secluded area where there is no service 2. Each kayak had complimentary cooler of snacks(chips, banana, snack bars) and ice cold water 3. We had a blast using EZ kayak tours to celebrate our family's bachelorette party! We're so happy with the whole experience, especially since more than half of us were kayaking at Willow Beach for the first time. Gio, the owner, and his partner made everything fun, safe, and ensured we had plenty of snacks and frequent reminders to stay hydrated, even providing ice-cold water. As we had suggested, we all arrived by 7. He gave us a quick demonstration on how to kayak properly and a safety demonstration. Plus, he took some professional photos! The whole experience took about three hours, and we paddled 4.5 miles round-trip to Emerald Cave. The kayaks were all in great shape and came in different colors for us to pick from. He provided: Water bags Hats Cellphone waterproof covers Snacks in a medium-sized lunch bag (apples, bananas, granola bars, etc.) that we could take home 3 ice-cold water bottles and more water when we returned Life vests Even though it was super hot, kayaking was much cooler, especially since we started early in the day. absolutely amazing experience!!!! kayaking itself was a good experience, my second time ever but the service itself was so impressive to all of us. gio was incredibly friendly, informative, and helpful! we had a huge group of 14, and he made sure all of us was prepared. he gave us packed lunchboxes with snacks, waterbottles, water bags for our belongings, our vests, hats for the sun, and even waterproof phone covers! most of us who have experienced kayaking before have never been given items to that extent of care especially without an additional charge. he also took photos of us with a phone and a real camera??? and the pictures were actually really nice. we were informed about the landmarks, better spots to stop at, and even the animals that we would see. david was also super helpful and even ran to me when i forgot to get a hat :') i think that my only thing might be if we could be offered maps? he is super detailed and had adequate information but i definitely got forgetful about the mile markers haha. a rigorous activity but really fun and worth the experience. i would recommend this place to anyone interested! overall it was a great deal and my family is already interested in booking again with other people! read more

Amazing overall experience! After doing a lot of research, EZ Kayak Tours was hands down the best choice for kayaking in Las Vegas. We got clear directions, helpful tips, and great local suggestions. After our Willow Beach kayak tour, we visited the Hoover Dam bridge overlook and even stopped by Hemenway Field to see the Bighorn sheep -- such a cool bonus. We were searching for family friendly things to do in Vegas for our group of eight, and this Colorado River adventure was perfect. EZ Kayak Tours far exceeded my expectations even BEFORE my tour! Gio was very communicative and accommodated some last minute schedule changes AND issued a partial refund. Based on this interaction, I knew my tour next day was going to be quality. My tour with David was nothing less of spectacular! I got very lucky and was the only signed up for my tour. When I arrived, my kayak was ready-to-go w/ water and snacks a-plenty. Don also offered me a dry bag and waterproof phone case, but I already had everything I needed. The paddle to Emerald Cove went by pretty quickly and we had extra time, so David was kind enough to show me a few extra things and snapped a buncha cool pics of me, too! We have adventurers who have done different activities all over the world from mountains, to oceans, to monkeys to alpacas and EZ kayak made everything ez and so enjoyable for us. We got so much more than we expected. 4th of July holiday we had a family reunion in sunny Las Vegas. Day 1 it was going to be a high of 108 degrees and 4 of us were gonna golf until we found this company w excellent reviews, the best pricing, extremely quick to respond ( like within an hour) crystal clear registration and our reservation for 4 turned into a family kayaking adventure for 25 people. 1. Booking They were quick to respond to our inquiry, and adapted to our groups size. We had no idea how many of use were gonna go. EZ kayaks team quickly gave us codes, responded to emails, called us to ask questions to make sure we were accommodated. As the group grew, they offered us discounts and kept adding support. *1 point of contact for the whole experience made things super easy and clear. No need to remind or ask questions repeatedly. He was in sync w us as we added singles, doubles, changed reservations and asked questions. 25 people are not easy to deal with coming from 5 states and 2 countries. 2. Pre arrival The owner of the company personally texted all the people in the group that registered, sent videos and honest guidance of what to expect from their own teams opinions and feedback from customers. Important: The cave is not a cave, it's a dent in a rock. Seems it was a social media sensation, while Bobs beach was lovely. Skip the cave if there is a wait. It really doesn't mean anything when the Colorado River itself has so much more to offer. See if u can catch any of the animals like big horn sheep and eagles or herons. 3. Arrivals and setup They were ready for us, they called us in advance to make sure we didn't get lost bc there is NO SIGNAL for 10 min before you arrive and while you are there. When we got there they were all ready for us and got us prepped and safely launched quickly. They treated everyone who had no experience like they were sincerely concerned about making us feel safe. They were warm, patient, smiley, and genuinely kind. They also provided camera bags. Wipe them out inside w a dry towel to minimize moisture. Could be good to grab them first and open them up so the sun can dry em as much as possible before you put your cameras in. 4. The ride Water guns made it epic. We had grandparents to 9 year olds on this adventure. Everyone was water safe in advance, life jackets were comfortable and no one tipped. The battle began right after he launch and we were so giggly a the whole way. We had a lovely glassy morning but we were totally lucky. We were the first or 2nd ones on the water to launch kayaks. *Snacks and water were absolutely a hit. Sun chips, bananas, oranges, peanut butter crackers and cookies were all faves. Way better than we were expecting. Water was ice cold. No need to bring anything to eat or drink. If u have allergies let them know in advance and maybe better to prep your own just in case but we were super pumped. Kids to elders all ate and had leftover to take. They even tried to give us more at the end and we couldn't even finish what we had. Safety on the ride and fun were both their priorities and everyone was glowing by the end of the day. We couldn't stop talking about what a magical morning we had for the rest of the trip. We had Burton on the ride sharing amazing facts about conservation, history, and all the biological and ecological features of the environment, While Gio cruised w us and just kept wanting us to enjoy and have fun. They made sure everyone felt safe and was smiling. We loved the views on Bobs beach hike and cooling off in the river was amazing. Water was so clear and you can learn why from the guys. Colors of the river were gorgeous. 5. Check out Fast and simple. Just arrive, give them your life vest and grab an extra water or snack ! Done!! We know we had the best luck for 25 people, but that's not really a thing. It was the teams attention to detail, having more than enough good quality equipment, excellent timely communication, staff that had a sincere interest in our happiness vs tryin to rush us to get back for their next tour. We honestly had more time than we needed and even finished early for a group so large. They earned our trust and friendship bc they really paid attention to everyone's experience. My family went on the Scenic Escape tour with a few newbies to kayaking and a couple little ones. Everyone had the most amazing experience! From the beginning, Gio was fantastic with his communication, letting us know what was going on, what to expect, etc. Once we got to the site, Gio was there along with our tour guide, Burton, who was equally fantastic. BEST KAYAK EXPERIENCE EVER! CAN'T WAIT TO GO AGAIN! A great activity, safe and more than I expected and very affordable. Securing reservations were straight forward and easy via their website at http://www.ezkayaktours.com. Top of the line equipment provided. Gio, our guide, was informative, professional and a blast to kayak with. Details provided in advance to prepare and plan accordingly. This event is located at Kayak Beach at Willow Beach,AZ., less than an hour from Las Vegas. We arrived early and there was plenty of parking. We began with a review of all safety information and kayak and paddle instruction. We were all provided bottled waters in each kayak and a waterproof phone case to allow you to record your days memories. Our journey was filled with wildlife the whole day. From ducks and birds to lizards and even Big Horn Sheep! That was a surprise. Gio made sure we took it all in. I'm amazed how relaxing it was. You paddle then glide then paddle then glide all the while visiting and enjoying your time with friends. Woo-hoo! We made a number of stops to get a break-snack and swim if desired. We also took a short hike to a historical home site of a River Guager. Very cool. I can not put into words how great our day was and how professional this company is. From the initial booking to the follow up text with our pictures taken by our guide of our tour, the communication was first class! I am a Quality Manager for a larger construction company, and I was very impressed with the safety, professionalism and constant interaction between our guide and ourselves to be sure we were not pushing too hard and basically enjoying our day to the fullest. Ok, now for our day! My wife and I visited Vegas in Mid February, so being Canadian it was rather pleasant for us at 66F (19c). We met up with our guide Don and he was all set up and waiting for us. He set us up with everything we needed equipment wise and did a detailed explanation of what we will be doing, how we will be doing it and the safety protocols we will be following. He then handed us a small lunch cooler and said it was our snacks for the trip! My wife and I are in our 60s and my wife has a "frozen shoulder" which limits the mobility in her shoulder joint so we opted for a tandem kayak. I must say I was a little concerned that I would have a bit of trouble keeping the pace basically paddling alone. Don was a truly experience guide and a great guy! He assured me that I would be fine and that we would go at our own pace. We set out and instantly I knew we would be ok. The water was like a mirror and the Kayak (High end quality brand name) was cutting through the water like a knife! Don set a pace that was steady and comfortable. As we paddled Up stream, Don gave us a wonderful history lesson of the area and what some poor guy had to do while they were building the Hoover Dam (I won't explain and ruin the surprise). We made our way to the Emerald Cove and Don took some wonderful pictures. We then turned around and headed down stream to a nice little beach area to get a bit of a rest, enjoy the snack that was packed for us and climb up to a lookout point to take a few more beautiful pictures (This is also where people usually swim in warmer weather). Once we conformed that we were good to go, we set off on our relaxed voyage back to our launch point. There were 2 surprising things that day. (1) was that I thought at the pace we were going at (very leisurely) that we would be well past the scheduled Tour duration, but when I checked my watch when we returned to the launch beach, we were almost to the minute on time! That is a sign of a great guide when he can keep a pace to keep schedule without you even realizing it! (2) We did the Plane / Grand Canyon Helicopter / Boat tour the previous day and thought that was amazing (although rather expensive), but when we were driving back to Vegas from our EZ Kayak Tour, we both agreed that we enjoyed this excursion more. No Stress, relaxed pace and so serine. The only thing we were disappointed in when we realized, was that we didn't get a picture together with Don, our guide. So In conclusion, definite 5 stars! Gio and his team are excellent. Don is an amazing guide, and we would certainly do it again if given the chance. In all honesty the experience actually inspired us to look into getting our own tandem Kayak and explore the rivers of Ontario Canada on the weekends (Summer that is! LOL) read more

Where do we start? The half day tour with EZ Kayak Tours was amazing!!! Just the right amount of time. My wife and I thought 3 hours might be too short but it wasn't. Our group was small and intimate. Our tour guide Gio was awesome! He took his time to teach us all how to properly paddle and warned us about waves / boats. We stopped at an overlook to see the canyons. We had some great snacks! Had plenty of water and basically couldn't ask for a better day out! The weather was 107° but the water was nice and cool that the 107° felt like a solid 85°. The water was definitely cold but nothing unbearable. Our friends recommended this company and we're so glad we chose to go with them. Pricing was a bit higher than others but if you're wanting quality over quantity, then this is definitely the place to go! The kayaks were also high end! I looked online at how much these Wilderness Systems models go for and they are pricey!!! I can see why they use the kayaks they use. We were going faster than other companies and I think it was due to the intro on how to paddle as well as having a small group. This was stress free, relaxing and just a good time with good people. Had the opportunity to film a tour with EZ Kayak, and it was a great experience! Upon arriving, the employees and crew were so welcoming and made sure everyone felt safe and comfortable. The tour was great we were able to see tons of wildlife like big horn sheep (literally 5 foot from the boat). These guys are SO good! Super prepared, even sent a video of how to get there because GPS doesn't work in that area. We took our little boy and he had the time of his life! They take care of everything! Snacks, water, etc, etc. we saw some other tours but ours was easily the best planned. We didn't have to wait at all at the cave or beach because it was all timed so well. Our family of six had a great time and I would 100% book with them again. Best place to Kayak Las Vegas (add to review) The evolution of this company has been amazing and the expeditions they offer are truly amazing. The kayaks are fast and feels like you're just Blazin' through while using your paddles. I never knew Wilderness Systems Pungo's and Pamlico were the way to go. Kayaking in Lake Mead, seeing the Black Canyons, Emerald Cave were also amazing. As a military Veteran who kayaks, this is definitely my top choice. Next time I have to bring my dogs to the river for a few desert adventures. I belong to a Las Vegas Kayak Sup Club and was told to check Ez Kayak from friends and family. I'm glad we did because my family was visiting from overseas and were very impressed with not just the quality of the equipment EZ Kayak offered but also their kind customer service. We wanted to do a tour but decided to go with kayak rentals because we wanted to go at our own pace and our own time. They provided us with clean smelling safety vests. The last company I used had smelly vests that smelled like sweat and armpits, these vests smelled fresh. They let us borrow dry bags which came in handy as well as sun hats. We got a waterproof phone case and got to keep them. We also got snacks, fruit and ICE cold bottled water! That was impressive! I can tell this company really cares about their clients and wants to make sure you have a good time. Those Yeti coolers are super cool! Literally and figuratively speaking. I also noticed 1 flipped kayak from another company. It looked like everyone uses the same cheap kayaks except EZ Kayak. I'm definitely going to be using Wilderness Systems kayaks now, you can really feel the difference when you're in the water - the seats were very comfortable. I think since most people are new to kayaking, they don't know any better and get tricked into renting a sub par product. We looked around at pricing and with everything this company provides, this was definitely the best offer out there!!! I can see why they come up number one for top things to do on Google for kayaking in Las Vegas and for Things to do on Google. I can't say enough about how impressed we are with this company and their organized manner. I really wanted to find a reason to not like them because I saw them on Instagram and thought it was all hype and fake marketing but what you see with them is really what you get.
