I have nothing but good things to say about this team! The cost of service was extremely fair and affordable compared to other moving companies, and the movers were fast and safe with my items. Ez Moving & Storage recently helped me move out of a townhouse studio size basement with roommates in Bristow, VA, to a new place in Columbus, OH! They were at my place around the time we had talked about in the morning the day of the move, I had no issues with them during this move and they handled and moved all of the items I had boxed up myself and my furniture quickly, efficiently, and safely! I had no issues with communication of them asking what they needed to load up on the truck and take and what they didn't need to take. The unloading at my new place was also very quick, and all of my items were undamaged. Communications and coordination of quotes, dates, etc. were handled over email with Petro. They did an interstate move for my 84 year old mother who lived in the same house for over 50 years (which means lots of fragile stuff) from Maryland to Upstate New York. I hired EZ Moving to move a one bedroom apartment from DC to CT. There are so many shady moving companies and horror stories from customers, and it's incredibly stressful and worrying to choose a mover. I couldn't ask for a better experience than what I received from EZ Moving. The owner Petro personally arranged everything, and his movers came in a dedicated 17' truck and packed all of our stuff with care on a Friday. It was delivered to Connecticut the next morning all in perfect condition. Had we gone with a major mover it could have taken weeks for our things to arrive, without a firm arrival date. On top of this amazing service, Petro beat the other movers on pricing, and at a pre-fixed rate that carried no threat of surprise charges. I definitely recommend EZ Moving to anyone moving in the DC area. I have to say I was worried when I booked EZ Moving that there was some catch, and that it couldn't be as good as it seemed. I didn't even have to put down a credit card number to book the move. There wasn't any catch. It's an honest moving company doing excellent work. Petro and his team did a fantastic job with our move. Since it was during the COVID-19 pandemic, the team all showed up with masks, and respected a 6-foot distance as much as possible. They came in at a lower budget and finished the job in less time than other companies quoted us. Petro is professional and prompt to reply, and his team were friendly but efficient. When they realized we didn't have pads on some furniture going onto our newly-laid hardwood floors, they provided adhesive pads before setting those pieces up. Petro and his moving company moved me about 3 years ago. There was about $3000 worth of damage. He said he was insured by Progressive, He tried to cover up using glue on one item. Another item that cost 1250 was ruined. Most of all, I could tell he tried to use a very expensive Item with parts I had to replace. Screws on my brass bed was striped. He had no insurance and sent me a check for $500. Every thing else arrived. His team was fast. I would give him a 5 if not for the insurance tall tale and equipment he tried to use. read more

Pretty strange experience. I had a nice conversation with Petro on Tuesday July 11 and he was eager to help me with my move. I emailed him all the information including lots of pictures of what I needed moved. He emailed me back a few hours later and wrote, "Thank you for your email and pictures. We will be able to send you our quote by tomorrow morning." I waited until after noon the next day (Wednesday) and shot a message wondering when I might expect the estimate, but didn't hear back. Later that day, I asked that he just confirm whether or not I was even going to get an estimate because if not, I would move on. It's Friday and I still have not heard back. He has my email and mobile number so he easily could just shoot a quick note. He was very nice on the first call so I wasn't going to look any further, but I lost a few days waiting. I found this very strange to never sent the estimate and just totally ghosted. Poor communication and customer service. read more

Had these guys booked for today. Petro contacted me early this morning asking if they could come earlier. I said yes, and that that was better for me. Then he canceled the move all together saying that one of his crew was sick with Covid. Surely a moving company has back up staff. He quoted me a very competitive and reasonable flat rate (best by far!) and his favorable reviews were what sold me.
