Ez Moving & Storage recently helped me move out of a townhouse studio size basement with roommates in Bristow, VA, to a new place in Columbus, OH! They were at my place around the time we had talked about in the morning the day of the move, I had no issues with them during this move and they handled and moved all of the items I had boxed up myself and my furniture quickly, efficiently, and safely! I had no issues with communication of them asking what they needed to load up on the truck and take and what they didn't need to take. The unloading at my new place was also very quick, and all of my items were undamaged. Communications and coordination of quotes, dates, etc. were handled over email with Petro. Absolutely phenomenal. I used Petro and his team are amazing! They're efficient, reliable, and hard working. I used EZ Moving to move my one bedroom apt into my storage unit. Robert and Mario showed up exactly on time and got to work immediately. They even helped me pack little things that I hadn't yet packed. Most of all, they were gentle with my belongings, which was great! They make the entire process so easy, starting with the first phone call! I had called tons of movers and Petro was the first person I spoke with who didn't keep me on the phone for forever before he gave me a price. Moving cross country sucks enough, so you should hire movers who will at least make that part better. I had to move long distance from Arlington VA to Cape Coral FL. I found this company and decided to give it a shot due to its good Yelp rating. Petro was very nice, very quick with communication, gave me the best rate, and was very patient as I coordinated details. On moving day taking care of signature and payment and he was in and out in about an hour and a half. If you need a cross country mover, and want to cut your stress in half, hire this company. They did an interstate move for my 84 year old mother who lived in the same house for over 50 years (which means lots of fragile stuff) from Maryland to Upstate New York. It went flawlessly even with the need to hold her stuff in storage for 2 months as her new place move in date kept changing. I strongly recommend him and can't say enough good things about the team. I hired EZ Moving to move a one bedroom apartment from DC to CT. There are so many shady moving companies and horror stories from customers, and it's incredibly stressful and worrying to choose a mover. I couldn't ask for a better experience than what I received from EZ Moving. The owner Petro personally arranged everything, and his movers came in a dedicated 17' truck and packed all of our stuff with care on a Friday. It was delivered to Connecticut the next morning all in perfect condition. Had we gone with a major mover it could have taken weeks for our things to arrive, without a firm arrival date. On top of this amazing service, Petro beat the other movers on pricing, and at a pre-fixed rate that carried no threat of surprise charges. I definitely recommend EZ Moving to anyone moving in the DC area. I have to say I was worried when I booked EZ Moving that there was some catch, and that it couldn't be as good as it seemed. I didn't even have to put down a credit card number to book the move. There wasn't any catch. It's an honest moving company doing excellent work. Petro and his moving company moved me about 3 years ago. There was about $3000 worth of damage. He said he was insured by Progressive, He tried to cover up using glue on one item. Another item that cost 1250 was ruined. Most of all, I could tell he tried to use a very expensive Item with parts I had to replace. Screws on my brass bed was striped. He had no insurance and sent me a check for $500. Every thing else arrived. His team was fast. I would give him a 5 if not for the insurance tall tale and equipment he tried to use. read more

Pretty strange experience. I had a nice conversation with Petro on Tuesday July 11 and he was eager to help me with my move. I emailed him all the information including lots of pictures of what I needed moved. He emailed me back a few hours later and wrote, "Thank you for your email and pictures. We will be able to send you our quote by tomorrow morning." I waited until after noon the next day (Wednesday) and shot a message wondering when I might expect the estimate, but didn't hear back. Later that day, I asked that he just confirm whether or not I was even going to get an estimate because if not, I would move on. It's Friday and I still have not heard back. He has my email and mobile number so he easily could just shoot a quick note. He was very nice on the first call so I wasn't going to look any further, but I lost a few days waiting. I found this very strange to never sent the estimate and just totally ghosted. Poor communication and customer service. read more

Had these guys booked for today. Petro contacted me early this morning asking if they could come earlier. I said yes, and that that was better for me. Then he canceled the move all together saying that one of his crew was sick with Covid. Surely a moving company has back up staff. Now I have all plans in place for a move and this was the only day to do it. A lot of planning goes into moving and this has created an extremely stressful situation. He quoted me a very competitive and reasonable flat rate (best by far!) and his favorable reviews were what sold me. Granted I did have some unease as a formal estimate/paperwork wasn't sent in advance, only an informal email reply confirming a crew and a $200 deposit. However his team of Dennis and David(?) called 15 mins out and arrived right at 9am. They quickly and efficiently went to work and were so careful with my belongings. EZ Moving just finished packing our moving truck and I was honestly astonished at how quickly they cleared out our apartment and how they fit everything!!! I messed up and reserved the wrong size of UHaul truck and I was sure it would be too small, but Petro must be amazing at Tetris because he and his team fit EVERYTHING in that truck! They were on time, super gracious with navigating my garbage pit of an apartment, and even got the job done early and helped haul some trash down to the dumpster! EZ moving is the best!! My wife & I were moving to another unit in the community. Only (2) guys showed up & disassembled our bed frame, TV mount & mirror from the dresser. Then after they moved our entire apartment, they reassembled everything again in only 2 hours & a half. That is remarkable!! They were careful & took good care of our furniture. They even supplied there own wrapping for Matress, television & delicate furniture. They were fast, professional, respectful & practice CDC guidelines during the moving process.
