They came at 9 a.m. (texted me to let me know their ETA) and loaded furniture from my house plus a 2nd stop to a storage unit. With 3 guys, it went very smoothly and quicker than expected! And they were an incredibly nice and polite crew. Very professional, made sure that all my furniture was wrapped and protected in blankets or plastic and they were so careful (while still being very efficient!). Multiple items of furniture were damaged in significant ways. We were not told about this on the day of moving, and are still discovering broken pieces of furniture 3 months later. They appear to have hidden the broken pieces/parts instead of admitting honestly what happened. On the day after the move, we found an open bookshelf that had not been put back together-- we realized as we were trying to put it together ourselves that they had snapped the legs off instead of unscrewing them, making it impossible to stabilize the bookshelf. We had to throw it out. Other items of furniture that had been broken and were not disclosed to us: --A large living room chair on wheels that had one of its stabilizing wheels broken off. --A hole made in a wall near the stairwell. --The back leg of our entertainment stand, which we realized they had just very cleverly balanced the entertainment stand on to make it appear unbroken. We did not realize this until we were rearranging furniture this past week (3 months after the move). It is especially disappointing as the chair and the entertainment stand were both less than year old and in excellent condition prior to the move. read more

Confirmed a move and made a deposit 6 weeks in advance for my elderly, disabled mother. I called around everywhere this Is 4pm on a Thursday near the end of the month, okay?? CollegeHunks and TwoMarines suggested this as an alternative so I called. Petro answered right away and asks about my needs, he was in BALTIMORE going to Falls Church and finished near 7p... and STILL CAME TO HELP ME AT 8!! I would have had my things on the street if not for them...they worked super hard at the end of a long day and even having an early Appt the next day, they were very kind and pleasant. The professional team moved quickly, very friendly, explained and asked what I wanted in which order, and even helped to load my car. I was doing an "interstate move," I was traveling from the east coast to Texas and I was nervous about finding the right mover. Petro and his team were amazing and flexible. Originally, I was going to have them pack up my stuff into the PODS, but decided to go with them to do the full move from Washington DC to Las Vegas, NV. They were accommodating to make it happen and they were also able to ship one of my cars as well. They were able to ship my stuff sooner than if I went through PODS and if I was going to tow my other car as originally planned, it would not have been as fun to drive cross country. Petro was very communicative and transparent. This isn't my first cross country move as I am in the military and they were the best ones I ever had so, I highly recommend them to anyone moving close or far away. The movers from both at the start and end points were very friendly and efficient. So far I didn't see any damages. Also, a big plus is that the payment is not taken until the job is complete.
