I've tried Oscars, Lighthouse and many others in Omaha. These are the best wings I've had in Omaha. Period.

Service is good, but the drink prices are outrageous! 12 tall mixed drinks cost us $90. Never do we pay that much!

If you get a choice of spots to sit, I would request not to sit on west side of restaurant where there is a long bench seat and tables lined up. It felt pretty close together, a little too cozy for me. The table next to us was in our conversation too often and we could definitely hear their conversation just fine. I'm also not sure what our "Universal Service Fee" was for, but wasn't an outrageous fee. We paid cash trying to avoid the extra fees. In all, it's a good spot as long as you get to chat with your party and not have unintended visitors from neighboring tables.

Gilberts you've been knocked down to number 2. I love the calamari and the dips they came with. It has the perfect chew and wasn't overcooked. It's hard to remember, but I believe my husband had some kind of chicken Alfredo or pasta. He has to write his own review. It was good. I also had a wedge salad, which was delicious as well. The ambience of 402 is nice and seems upscale but at the same time casual. I like that because we weren't dressed up. The waiters and waitresses wore T-shirts and jeans, but the atmosphere is still fancy for a nice date night.

My husband and I were the only customers in the store, and the employee helping us was moving so fast through the order that I politely said, "Can we please go at my speed?" because I was trying to look at the options. Her attitude changed immediately after that. She became rude, started aggressively throwing toppings onto my sandwich, and when I asked why she was being rude to me, she told me my comment was rude to her. When I tried to calmly ask how, she told me to "stop talking to her." After that, she pulled my husband's bacon out of the warmer and threw it onto the counter. The interaction became so uncomfortable and hostile that I chose to leave the store altogether. I understand there are always two sides to every story, which is exactly why I encourage management to review their security footage from around 4 PM on 5/23/26. It will speak for itself. I'll also be honest and acknowledge that as I was walking out the door, after everything had already escalated, I muttered "bitch" under my breath out of frustration. I'm not pretending I handled that final moment perfectly. But that happened after being spoken to disrespectfully and told to "stop talking" simply for asking questions while ordering. The entire interaction was unnecessary, disrespectful, and honestly shocking considering we were the only customers in the store. I genuinely like Goodcents food, which makes the experience even more disappointing. And before somebody redirects me to fill out a form online, your link doesn't work. I tried.

The clerk offered to cut our shared 16" turkey sub into quarters and put each half on our own tray. Nice little anticipation of what would make our meal easier to share. Felt welcomed and appreciated.

The restaurant itself played music and was very very clean!! Food itself was fresh but average. Wheat or white bread are the beginning options. Toasted to them means grilled, whereas a "cold cut" is still toasted bread. It's a good thing to know going into ordering decisions. I ordered the Italian sub and it was ok- I think it would've been better without the grill because the oils from the meat had soaked the bread. Boyfriend, C's Review: Service was prompt and professional. The restaurant itself was very cleaned and organized. Food made fresh although overhyped in my opinion. I ordered the club cold cut and it came out with the bread toasted and made it dry which we now know is their normal. I do not care for toasted sandwiches. With so many other sub sandwich places in Omaha this wouldn't be my go-to. It was nice to finally give this place a try! They do support Down Syndrome Adoption which is amazing and something I did not know before going into the restaurant!!

The restaurant was very busy for a Friday night. I wasn't expecting it to be so large, but there is plenty of seating, including bar area and outdoor seating. The décor is modern and inviting, with lots of plants and beautiful gold accents. For drinks, we tried the Donatella, which is made with gin, grapefruit, honey, and lemon. We also had the Pomegranate Mule, which was light and refreshing. For my entrée, I ordered the Braised Short Rib Marsala, served with beech mushrooms, snap peas, heirloom carrots, and black truffle risotto. My husband had the Chicken Parmesan, which came with crushed tomato sauce, aged provolone, mozzarella, Parmesan, and rigatoni. Both meals were delicious and full of flavor. My short rib was tender, although a few pieces had a bit more fat than I would have preferred. The prices were on the higher side, but when the food quality is this good, it's hard to complain. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely be back.

Most of our group had been to Cheddar's before, and we were all excited to try some new menu items. Overall, the food was a hit. The onion rings came out hot and fresh, the lemon pepper chicken was especially juicy, and the white fish ended up being another favorite at the table. That said, there were a few service missteps that took away from the experience. Two people in our group ordered the white fish blackened, but only one plate came out as requested--the other was pretty bland. When our server eventually checked in (a bit later than expected), we mentioned the mix-up. His response was pretty casual, something along the lines of there just being less spice, and he didn't offer to fix it or have it remade. We ended up just swapping a fillet between the two plates so each person had one blackened and one not. It worked, but it felt like something that should have been handled differently. There were also a few moments where drinks went empty for a while, and our server wasn't around much. At one point, a manager actually stepped in and refilled waters for the table, which we appreciated. Overall, the service felt very laid-back...but to the point where it came across like he didn't care. One bright spot worth mentioning: my salad came out before the meal with a lot more cheese on top than I expected. As I was picking some off onto a side plate, a manager happened to notice and stopped to ask if I'd prefer a new salad without cheese. I explained it wasn't a mistake, just more than I wanted, but I really appreciated the attention and the offer to make it right.

Suffice to say (before reading my long review) it was not on par with the L street location! The staff were definitely new and learning the menu, but that is to be expected any time a new place is freshly opened. Our server, Blake, was nice though and was learning fast. But with a few other servers, there was one thing that did not come about from being a server in a new restaurant. We were eating and could CLEARLY hear the staff around the corner talking loudly and cursing left and right. I am not a prude about language but it's just not something you see every day at a restaurant with families/kids dining. The size of the restaurant seems a little smaller than the L street location, too. That may be a psychosomatic thing when trying a different location of a place you know, but I definitely felt more cramped. The food is on par with the OG spot, so no complaints there. My usual is the bourbon glazed salmon with the cheesy broccoli on the side. So it was just as tasty as the other location, but I think I'll stick to the L street one mostly going forward.
