    Timber Creek Bourbon Burger

Long time Timber Creek Patron, first time poster. We've been going to Timber Creek on a fairly regular basis essentially since they've been open. We live close by so it's nice to have a good option to rely on. We've taken family members, met friends or even just had a date night here. Although most people probably come for their pizza I love their burgers. In particular, the Timber Creek Bourbon Burger. I've had this specific burger more times than not and it has never disappointed. I'm a huge fan of bbq burgers in general and this one with the pulled pork, tangy bbq sauce and smoky bacon is always satisfying. Paired with well seasoned tots and ranch... I'm always pleased. Great option to have in south west Omaha with quick service, and nice array of food options. Plus we love playing trivia with the table cards!

Had a couple friends tell me good things about this spot so I had been wanting to try it out for a while. I ordered takeout the wait was about 45 mins so not bad for a Saturday. I ordered a medium pepperoni beef and sausage pizza, 8 gochujang sauce wings, and a basket of waffle fries. All of this was about 40$ which is pretty pricey IMO. The food was really good overall! The pizza had a thick chewy crust, plenty of cheese and fresh toppings! The wings were really good but you only get 8 for 11$ which i feel like is too much. The fries were good well seasoned no complaints. I would definitely go back here for the food and want to sit down inside. I would have given 5 stars but the I can't justify the price for the amount of food I got. Overall worth a try if you're in the area!

Always great food and great service! Good happy hour deals as well. The wings are our favorite and the pizza is absolutely delicious. The mules are our go-to drink and one of the best I have found around Omaha IMO, but we have tried many other drinks on the menu and they are good as well. They have a fantastic patio for the nicer weather, it's secluded and peaceful. The lady that I believe is the manager (middle aged woman with glasses) is always very helpful, enthusiastic, and just great at her job, which is very appreciated and makes the experience enjoyable. 10/10!

Timber Creek's pizzas were delicious, and they even offered gluten-free and cauliflower crust pizza options for guests who requested this.

Timber Creek Pizza Pub & Grill (178th & Harrison St., Omaha) did an AMAZING job hosting our son's graduation party yesterday! The food was INCREDIBLE (yes, it tasted as good as it looks! ), the drinks were fantastic , and the staff was top-notch ! Please consider this venue for your next private party or a fantastic meal with family/friends!!! Managers Alaina and Andy met with me over a month ago to discuss party details, and their attention to detail and knowledgeable suggestions assured me that I made the right choice booking Timber Creek. We did a walk-through a couple of weeks prior to the party, and they took my modifications in stride. Alaina was flexible, responsive, helpful, and friendly. Both of these managers were on-site for our party, as well as a dedicated server (Taylor, who was FANTASTIC! Please go visit her and tip her generously )! Everyone raved about the delicious food, the top-notch service, and the beautiful patio space with the gorgeous flowers. We loved having both indoor & outdoor seating, and a space that allowed for a wonderful flow of traffic. RUN ‍, don't walk, to Timber Creek Pizza Pub and Grill today! Book your private party this summer! We are so glad that we did!

SO GOOD! I love this place. The staff is friendly, it's small and never feels to hectic. They have great appetizers and incredible Smokey old fashions that you get to do!!! Definitely a easy spot to grab a bite and feel welcome.

Pretty clear instructions. And yet...failure x2. Reading is hard, I guess.

Help is hard to find almost everywhere in September 2021. Got it. Good help is even harder to find. Got it. Business owners and managers probably cannot be too picky about the help they hire, but the help should at least be marginally competent and able to read. Incompetent and/or illiterate help will end up costing businesses more money and loyalty than they would have lost by not having that help to begin with. I normally like this place, even though it's not the best. It's far from the best, but it's convenient and good enough that I keep coming back. But when multiple requests that are printed out from an online order - easy to understand requests - are ignored or missed due to lack of attention, that makes me question my loyalty and my willingness to take a risk again. And when I try calling TWICE during business hours and get nothing but voicemail both times (and no return call over the past 5 days), that really frustrates and upsets me, because I didn't get good service and I can't get resolution. The three things I hate most in the universe are terrorists, socialists, and cilantro. I absolutely cannot stand cilantro, and it makes me angry when it's on my food. It makes me even angrier when I specifically requested that cilantro NOT be on my food and yet it is anyway. My online order clearly said "no cilantro". And it clearly said blue cheese dressing with my wings. And yet I had a buttload of cilantro on my pizza and ranch dressing. And again, I could not get anyone to answer the phone to discuss it. Things happen. Got it. But 2 screw-ups and nobody answering the phone = 3 strikes, you're out. From 4 stars to 1. Adios.

No bacon included in ingredients online. However, we were given a pizza with bacon and told we could not get a refund or new pizza.

Decided to try out a new pizza place tonight for dinner. We went to order online and the listing for the Sweet Chicken Chili Pizza showed there was no bacon as a possible ingredient for this pizza. We ordered half chicken to make sure one side was meatless for guests and received a pizza with bacon on the entire pizza. We called in after we got home and were told that the menu for dine in has bacon as an ingredient for that pizza, so we were not able to get a refund or a new pizza. Instead we could purchase a different one at our own expense. Really disappointed in their customer service. Hope they will update their online menu for takeout guests to match their menu in-house.

FOOD : we got a few orders - but i personally ordered the gluten free pizza with cheese, basil, and banana peppers. It wasn't too greasy which i liked and it had just the right amount of flavor in all the places it needed it. I love that it was straight out of the brick oven and cooked to perfection. I got the gluten free crust because it only had olive oil, whereas the other normal gluten pizzas have a mixture of olive oil oil and soy bean oil. The pizza was light because the crust was thin, but I still prefer the double zero Italian flour over the American flour overall it was a good pizza and I enjoyed it, however, still probably not in my top favorites for omaha! The table at large really enjoyed their pizzas, I think if you just want a quick basic pizza that's good and better than going to a fast food spot, this is a good choice, but if you're looking for high quality ingredients with local sourcing, this isn't it. Alas, it was still really good and we enjoyed our food! SERVICE : it definitely gave a mom and pop feel, we had exceptionally kind Service and really enjoyed the people that we met. They were extremely helpful and made it feel homey! ATMOSPHERE : Very much so a hole in the wall - I'm not going to lie, I was a bit turned off by the ceilings and the cleanliness of the place. I get a little bit freaked out when it comes to atmosphere / food so this was a bit of a downfall for me!

Next stop: Piezon's Pizzeria a neighborhood stronghold with a robust menu that offers plenty of choices without feeling overwhelming. For this session, I picked up: One slice of the Oh Mio Dio One slice of the Mahalo with jalapeños The standout of the encounter was the Oh Mio Dio. The combination of fiery chicken and cream cheese landed exactly where I like my pizza builds to be--bringing the perfect balance of heat and coolness in every bite. The Mahalo took a different path. Built with Canadian bacon, pineapple, and cream cheese, it already offers a unique take on a Hawaiian-style pizza. Adding jalapeños gave it just enough kick to complement the sweet and savory flavors without overwhelming them. I can see why it's my wife's favorite. The menu itself deserves credit. There's a lot to choose from, but it never feels complicated. Whether you're a seasoned adventurer or a first-time visitor, finding your next slice feels straightforward. What stuck with me most, though, was the atmosphere. The walls are filled with stories and adventures drawn by kids, while pizza trays signed by Husker fans cover the space with messages and memories. Mootz isn't just the best pizza place in Omaha, it's in the running for the best Omaha restaurant…read morePERIOD! I was blown away by every aspect of Mootz. Get ready for a novel of a review! I warned you... The exterior of Mootz is basically the same as all of Countryside Village (which is probably a requirement), but the inside is a different story! The interior is all white and bright, and super clean. They really let the food and service do the talking without needing to dress the place up (which I appreciate!) The star of the show is their Acunto brick oven. It's gigantic, with white tile, and their Mootz name at the top. They had it made in Naples and it was definitely worth doing that for this amazing centerpiece of the space. And the oven is not just for looks, it puts out some of the best pizza I have ever had. I am not usually a fan of pizza crust, and only eat the main "body" of each slice, but at Mootz, even the dough and crust is flavorful and tasty! It has a salty and (super) semi-sweet flavor. It makes each slice all the better. That's just an example of how much they obviously care about the product they are producing. We got to chat with many of the staff, including Mootz himself, his dad, and others, who were all extremely welcoming, kind, and helpful. My husband and I are doing the ABCs of Omaha restaurants we haven't been to yet, and Mootz was our M pick. We didn't plan to tell them that's what we were doing, but when two people are ordering two whole pizzas, there's a little bit of explanation needed - LOL! Once they knew that was what we were doing, they made sure to help us pick the slices to try that they loved best, and based on what we were craving. What's great about Mootz is that you can order just a single slice of a certain flavor, or get a full pie of different flavored slices. Because of this, we were able to try 8 different flavors of pizza! We ordered slices of the Buffalo Chicken, Cheeseburger, Chicken Alfredo, and Jalapeño Oaxaca for one pizza, and then the second pie we did a lot of the normal pizza flavors, so slices of the Cheese, Pepperoni, Supreme, and Margherita. They were ALL fantastic (and I am not exaggerating), but our favorites were the Cheeseburger, Buffalo Chicken, Margherita, and Jalapeño Oaxaca. I'm a cheeseburger girlie and I achingly missed the Cheeseburger Pizza that Pizza Shoppe (RIP) used to have. But no more missing that flavor - the Mootz version is so great, it has satiated that craving! The Buffalo Chicken was BOMB! Not too spicy of a buffalo at all, and the chicken is juicy and flavorful. They make their own Ranch too, and the Buffalo Chicken dipped in that was perfection. (And in mentioning the house made ranch, we also had a side salad that we shared, with that ranch, and it was awesome - very well dressed and with lots of veggies!) The Jalapeño Oaxaca was a fave because I appreciated the heat that the jalapeño gave, and the crema on top giving it a creaminess that counterbalanced the spiciness. The surprise of the day was the Margherita! I normally don't order Margherita pizza just because it's not too full of toppings or flavor usually - but that's not the case at Mootz. The dough being so flavorful works wonderfully with their delicious pizza sauce, basil, and SO much cheese (parm, Romano, mozzarella). It's a lighter slice if you aren't wanting anything too heavy, but that doesn't mean it's not big on flavor! And to round out the meal, they have some awesome desserts too. We tried the tiramisu and the chocolate chip cookies. Tiramisu is my favorite dessert, but my husband on the other hand does not super enjoy it (since he's not a coffee lover). But we BOTH loved the tiramisu at Mootz! It comes in a little cup and it's almost "crumbled" (vs layered, like a normal tiramisu slice), which gives each bite a little bit of each layered flavor. Yum! The chocolate chip cookies were on point too; chewy, sweet, soft, and definitely homemade. We made a great decision to try Mootz for our M restaurant, because it was so dang amazing. I definitely recommend you go here for your next night out, immediately, right now! Do it!
