Always on the lookout for delicious pizza, I ordered takeout from Timber Creek. Online ordering is easy, and it was mid-afternoon, so turnaround time was pretty quick. Pizza was ready right on time, and the smell was great all the way home. Initially, I was disappointed in the side salad, as it came in a box approximately the size of a big Mac box. I paid $5 for this? But when I poured it into a standard cereal bowl at home, I had to level up because there was so.much.salad! And it was fresh, and delicious. Toppings on the pizza were generous, and it looked great. Cupping pepperoni can be a little spicy, and the sauce had a little spice as well, but was very good. I got the standard crust (vs thin crust), and maybe standard is the best thing I can say about it. It was meh. Not fluffy, not chewy, just better than frozen. Everything was cooked well though, and I applaud that. Lots of pepperoni, olives and maybe not quite as many mushrooms, but a fair amount. I'd go back, this time trying the thin crust. I was hoping to love this spot since it is near our house, but it was just ok. We ordered two pizzas, and they were super large. I liked the variety of unique pizzas on the menu, but when it came time to add the actual unique toppings, they fell short. I had the street corn pizza, and there couldn't have been more than a tablespoon of chorizo on the entire pizza. Additionally, the sauce on top had a gross mayo-ish texture. Ordered the Italian Grinder and the meat selection is a good combination but the Toasted focaccia, but looked like chibatta bread to me, was overly toasted and burnt tasting which didn't help the whole sandwich. The Thai Chicken wrap had the right amount of spice and was tasty chicken wrap. Did try the onion rings and they were great. Long time Timber Creek Patron, first time poster. We've been going to Timber Creek on a fairly regular basis essentially since they've been open. We live close by so it's nice to have a good option to rely on. We've taken family members, met friends or even just had a date night here. Although most people probably come for their pizza I love their burgers. In particular, the Timber Creek Bourbon Burger. I've had this specific burger more times than not and it has never disappointed. I'm a huge fan of bbq burgers in general and this one with the pulled pork, tangy bbq sauce and smoky bacon is always satisfying. Paired with well seasoned tots and ranch... I'm always pleased. Never make it out this far west. Asked for a recommendation after my daughter's dance rectile and someone said this place. We ordered a large Korean BBQ pizza and a large the O'Standard. Both were absolutely delicious. The service was fantastic, and the claw machines were actually winnable! To top it all off my daughter loved her kids cheese pizza. I ordered a medium pepperoni beef and sausage pizza, 8 gochujang sauce wings, and a basket of waffle fries. All of this was about 40$ which is pretty pricey IMO. The food was really good overall! The pizza had a thick chewy crust, plenty of cheese and fresh toppings! The wings were really good but you only get 8 for 11$ which i feel like is too much. The fries were good well seasoned no complaints. I would definitely go back here for the food and want to sit down inside. Always great food and great service! Good happy hour deals as well. The wings are our favorite and the pizza is absolutely delicious. The mules are our go-to drink and one of the best I have found around Omaha IMO, but we have tried many other drinks on the menu and they are good as well. They have a fantastic patio for the nicer weather, it's secluded and peaceful. The lady that I believe is the manager (middle aged woman with glasses) is always very helpful, enthusiastic, and just great at her job, which is very appreciated and makes the experience enjoyable. 10/10! read more

Help is hard to find almost everywhere in September 2021. Got it. Good help is even harder to find. Got it. Business owners and managers probably cannot be too picky about the help they hire, but the help should at least be marginally competent and able to read. Incompetent and/or illiterate help will end up costing businesses more money and loyalty than they would have lost by not having that help to begin with. I normally like this place, even though it's not the best. It's far from the best, but it's convenient and good enough that I keep coming back. But when multiple requests that are printed out from an online order - easy to understand requests - are ignored or missed due to lack of attention, that makes me question my loyalty and my willingness to take a risk again. And when I try calling TWICE during business hours and get nothing but voicemail both times (and no return call over the past 5 days), that really frustrates and upsets me, because I didn't get good service and I can't get resolution. The three things I hate most in the universe are terrorists, socialists, and cilantro. I absolutely cannot stand cilantro, and it makes me angry when it's on my food. It makes me even angrier when I specifically requested that cilantro NOT be on my food and yet it is anyway. My online order clearly said "no cilantro". And it clearly said blue cheese dressing with my wings. And yet I had a buttload of cilantro on my pizza and ranch dressing. And again, I could not get anyone to answer the phone to discuss it. Decided to try out a new pizza place tonight for dinner. We went to order online and the listing for the Sweet Chicken Chili Pizza showed there was no bacon as a possible ingredient for this pizza. We ordered half chicken to make sure one side was meatless for guests and received a pizza with bacon on the entire pizza. We called in after we got home and were told that the menu for dine in has bacon as an ingredient for that pizza, so we were not able to get a refund or a new pizza. Instead we could purchase a different one at our own expense. Really disappointed in their customer service. Great place - I happened to be in the area and thought I'd try it- I'm so glad I did. It's very cute settings and I love they have a wonderful patio! I was greeted by a friendly waitress- I wish I remembered her name- when I asked for recommendations she was very helpful. They had great lunch specials but I chose a speciality pizza. Hidden little spot in the Millard area! I guess for us since we recently moved, and it's right around the corner, but we were pleasantly surprised by the food. The small variety of food was nice to see (not just pizza). Service was a bit slow despite the restaurant not being busy with quite a bit of staff, but who knows the situation these days. Started off with the dipping sticks, which was just a 12" cheese pizza without sauce. It was a lot thicker dough and cheesier than we expected. Really good with the marinara sauce! Didn't really expect to be a filling starter, and we already ordered a large (14") sweet and spicy BBQ chicken pizza (we kinda expected to take some of that home anyway). There was A LOT of cheese, maybe a little too much for my liking, but the flavors were for sure there. The jalapeños were pretty spicy, which was a nice surprise. The BBQ sauce was very good. Again, the dough had a nice thickness and of course we couldn't finish it and had to take both some of the pizza and cheese sticks home. We recommend coming here! We'll probably try more pizzas, but they gave us a good first impression to make us want to come back another time! read more

The Smoked Old Fashioned is worth the visit alone, what a great idea! My husband got a spiked tea that he also enjoyed. We ordered the onion rings on the waitress, Hannah's, recommendation and the Big Sky and Buffalo wings for mains. The main courses came out first and the waitresses apologized saying that the rings are hand breaded in house and weren't coming out of the fryer nicely. She offered to take them off the bill if we didn't want them now but rather than being annoyed they weren't on time we appreciated that they would rather be right than sending out a bad product. And it was worth the wait, they were a highlight of the meal! I got the Big Sky salad, another recommendation that paid off. It is huge, well dressed, and a good flavor profile with the apples, Gouda, and pecans. The vinaigrette did not go well with my whiskey but I solved that by having onion rings in between salad bites and whiskey drinks. Todd thought the char buffed wings were worth a repeat visit. We were doing so well we decided to try dessert and that's were this went from 5 stars to 4. The giant cookie is clearly not house made, unless you're includingTollhouse. And it is billed as a warm cookie but has way to much ice cream to make that happen, it's really a giant cookie sundae. Fine for a little kids treat, but not what we were hoping for. Overall it was a really good meal with exceptional service and we'll be back for the grown up items - the drinks, apps, and main courses - and will skip dessert next time. read more

Advise for booking parties please be more honest and revealing the prices not including gratuity and taxes in the final price per a person was very deceitful and wrong when we booked our party this past December we were highly disappointed in the way we were treated at the end when paying for the bill. No manager came to get a head count from us until the end of the event when everyone was tired and had dealt with an emergency situation with a family member. I highly recommend a clear contact not something written on a piece of paper where you only have the copy of it. I do not recommend this restaurant for a party. read more

My wife and I have been here on a couple of occasions. The first time we came, we popped in for a quick dinner while the dog was being groomed. To be honest, it wasn't the best experience, I think because we were not able to relax. The food was good, but we were two time sensitive to enjoy the experience. That's why I'm glad we came back for dinner when we had the evening open. They have a good selection of appetizers, beer and wine, and great entrées, from standard fare like burgers to more elaborate sandwiches and some nice entrées. It's a nice relaxing atmosphere with good food, so when you want a nice dinner but don't feel like it has to be fancy or elaborate, this will be a good choice. read more

I thought Timber Creek Pizza was a nice change of pace and I really enjoyed their take on non traditional pizza flavors. We tried some of the pizzas that had different toppings/combinations. The Upset Grizzly Bear had cream cheese and jalapenos (+protein)- I really enjoyed this one. The toppings seemed well balanced and nothing was overwhelming. Polynesian- I was pleasantly surprised with how decent the pork shoulder was on this pizza. Not quite sure if it's 100% homemade but everything was flavorful. This one was a cool spin on a hawaiian pizza. Onion rings ate more like bloomin onion, which were tasty. Overall, I think that Timber Creek is a solid pizza place for different pizza options. I can't speak to their regular flavors or what a pepperoni pizza tastes like (or even really a red sauce), but everything I ordered was very good. Value was about on par with other local pizza places- $20 for a large that can easily fill up 2-3 people. read more

First impressions, the facility is beautiful but the layout is confusing and deceiving. What looks like a small space initially opens up into a maze of rooms that can accommodate larger groups. Looking through their Facebook, it appears this was an addition to help with complaints about limited seating. The decor is beautiful, I especially love the mountainous photos on the wall. Just an interesting layout, especially when meeting friends who aren't familiar with the place. The menu is sufficient in variety, not small not large. It's 'quality' bar and grill foods like burgers, pizza, wings, and even fried pickles. Our server did a great job for being just a couple days in but I think some of our hang ups could have been avoided with some shadowing from a more experienced server. For the most part our drinks were kept topped off, our food was relatively fast, but there were small things that made the service sub par. I like to know if my pizza is going to be way behind everyone else's because they accidentally put onions on it, or if you have a certain soda I asked about but you say you don't but it's on the menu and the soda fountain that makes me question things, or if you don't know anything about the menu and how things taste, or if it takes a while to get plates for everyone...these are just little things that can be fixed with more training and experience. The food was an overall ok among the group of six I was with. Some dishes better than others. I loved my meal. I went outside my comfort zone and ordered cauliflower crust for my pizza. I'd had a frozen version before from Trader Joe's and didn't like it at all so I was expecting the worst, hoping for the best. It was delicious! It's like a thin crust pizza with a crispy, lavash like texture. I couldn't even taste cauliflower. The edges were pretty charred so there was a bitter burnt after taste, too much. A little is ok but I could have had less. I ordered the San Mateo toppings. Another "risk" as it includes green chilis, ground beef, black beans...it's basically taco pizza. It's a bit spicy but the flavors are on point. Not spicy enough to avoid it. The crispy crush was the perfect backing for the gushy cheesy ingredients. Great choice! The rest of the reviews are mixed. We had Wisconsin cheese curds and fried pickles for starters. They were tasty, not super large portions, but quality ingredients. There was a nice pickle taste for the fried pickles and the cheese curds lightly battered with more of a Panko breading. The Polynesian pizza was shared by two people and had mixed reviews. One person said the bbq and teriyaki didn't balance but another said she liked the kick. They both agreed more meat would make it even better. The Old Stand By went over well. She liked the flavors and the sausage was quality. Another friend enjoyed her smoked chicken wrap. She said everything was smoked, including the bacon. It was good. The BBQ Chicken Pizza needs a little something something. It's literally just bbq and chicken, it needs spices or something. For those looking for calorie free drinks, I felt the menu was lacking. Our server said they only had one kind of diet and it was Diet Pepsi, which I am not a fan of. I then ordered tea but it is not freshly brewed. I didn't like the taste. Will I go here again? Possibly. I don't live in Omaha (I'm in Lincoln) but visit often for work. It appears to be a nice gathering for families or groups of friends as well and it's a great location without having to get too deep into the city. My hubby works in Omaha and I most definitely am going to ask him to bring me cauliflower crust pizza takeout from time to time. **Update: I wanted to know if the cauliflower crust is a healthier choice than regular crust or more so a great gluten free option. I messaged the restaurant for details and they shared with me the crust is Rich's brand. The crust has cauliflower, cheese, eggs, and rice flour. It's 150 calories for a 1/3 of the crust. I compared that to a random search of Pizza Hut hand tossed pizza w/o toppings, and according to My Fitness Pal it's 180 calories for one slice. I'm not sure how accurate all of this is but I'm just gonna keep believing the cauliflower crust is a healthier option. It is fewer calories but I think that's because it's a smaller circumference. I am updating my review from 3/19/24. The GM called me first thing the next morning. She made a point to get every detail of what happened so she could address mistakes made by her staff. She sincerely apologized, refunded our money AND gave us a gift card. We dined in this evening and it was the service and quality we were accustomed to. So while our experience on March 19th was infuriating, it definitely seems to be an isolated incident. What I now realize is the GM, Candy, truly cares about her customers and their experience.
