A neighbor recommended this place, I called today and they were able to fit me in today as well. Mike showed up and was able to diagnose the problem, clean the fireplace and fix the problem, and was in and out of my house within an hour. The cost was $400, when I called on the phone they said costs usually started at $200, but this was fine by me because I believe he had to replace a part and do a bit more work to get the fireplace to work. They do take credit cards and there are no fees to use one, also. Based on this experience I would absolutely use Ace Fireplace again if I was having fireplace issues.

The appointment was prompt, the breakdown of what was needed to bring our hearth into the 21st century was clear and concise, and we had a reasonable quote and a date of delivery by the time he headed out. The work itself, now finished, is stellar. He used the existing ceramic logs (which we really like) with a new, updated flame delivery system and even took the time to paint out the interior of the fireplace to create a "shadowbox" effect for the fire. Total time from start to finish was under two hours, and we're already on point to contact him for further repairs to the chimney and porch steps in the future.
