I had drunken noodles with shrimp. Idk what they thought they served me, but this was the worst drunken noodles I've ever had. The noodles were all stuck together and so hard in some spots that I thought I cracked my teeth. The noodles were completely dry and flavorless. And they only gave me 6 shrimp for a meal costing almost $15. The Happy Thai Bellies food truck downtown blows them out the water. Flavor. Volume. Price. Overall value. I've had better Thai food in the area. Since I live in the beach, I'd rather travel to Edgewater for excellent Thai than Prince Frederick for Thai that's just adequate. I've only been here once but it deserves 5 stars. I'm coming from Ft. Lauderdale where there is authentic Thai food everywhere. So I was so weary about a Thai restaurant in Calvert County. I grew up here and culture is one thing that this county always lacked. We had like no restaurants here growing up. So moving back with a Thai restaurant here was weird. I'm obsessed with Thai food and I actually got something that I've never had before. Pad see ew with shrimp. Was I surprised at how amazing it was. It was lunch so it came with soup and salad. There was only a tiny bit of salad dressing on the salad, but it was really good. Didn't care for the soup. And I got a Thai iced tea which I was weary about too because I've had some bad ones. It's probably the second best Thai iced tea I've ever tasted. The lunch price is perfect, but if you don't catch it during lunch hours, it's VERY expensive. But all of the Thai restaurants I've been to, have around the same pricing for dinner. The lady at the front was super nice. And to sound as least racist as possible-her English was very good, so placing an order over the phone wasn't difficult. This is my favorite restaurant in Calvert County. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food is good. They'll modify almost any dish if asked to gluten free, add tofu instead of meat in dishes, etc. I know whether I'm bringing someone gluten free or vegan or vegetarian to the restaurant, they won't leave hungry. We bring all of our friends here. Several of the staff even remember my favourite dishes (and we only eat out every few months)! Now that they have remodeled the interior it's an even nicer dining experience. Their takeout is good too. I just wish we lived close enough for their delivery. My personal favorite dishes are the pad Thai and their curries, especially the mussamun and green ones. Their sticky rice, either with mango or with black beans, is also delightful. The fried tofu appetizer is tasty. I can't recommend this place enough. read more

I wish I had gone there from the start! The food is great! Very fresh and you don't feel like crap after eating it! It also helps that the staff is very friendly! I guess my expectations for Thai food in rural Maryland were too high. I live in the big city on the west coast and recently when vacationing in Calvert county MD, I was hella hungry for Thai food. When I found out there was a new restaurant in Prince Frederick, just a few minutes from my sisters Huntingtown home, I raced over there just before closing, STARVING. Luckily I got there just before the place closed for the night and ordered pad Thai to go. If you are in rural Maryland and must have Thai food, I guess this place is OK, but if you have had real Thai food in the city, you will quickly see that the food at EZ Thai is sub par. I gave the place 2 stars because the staff was Thai and I give them credit for opening a restaurant in a part of Maryland that probably isn't too keen on ethnic food. Who knows... read more

I used to love this place but ever since fall it is terrible. The old staff was friendly and the food used to be fresh and flavorful with real spices and great Thai tastes. The new staff has brought food and drinks to the wrong table the last 2 times we went. They don't smile and are gruff and abrupt. The food has gone downhill big time. I always get pad se ew, and it used to have a light but distinctive sweet soy sauce flavor. Now the dish is so salty, the salt is all you can taste. I ate 5 bites and felt sick, and was drinking water all night. This can't be at all healthy to eat. Also, the veggies which should have been stir fried were mushy like they had been steamed before being added. Their flavor was mostly gone. My fiancee got the dumpling soup, and the prevalent flavor tasted like that liquid smoke or fake smoke flavor crystals in a spice blend. We used to love this restaurant and went there often. I won't anymore until they figure out what they're doing wrong. read more
