Delicious food! A great local business too support. The family/service was very nice and my call was answered right away. The order only took about 20 minutes. Will be back!

Cash only, tasty food! I ordered the Orange Chicken and the Shrimp Lo Mein. Decent portions and the lo mein was big and tasty. The broccoli was a little cold but chicken was flavorful and hot!

General tso tofu with fried rice, extra bean sprouts!

LOVE LOVE LOVE!! I get their tofu and it's so amazing! My boyfriend has gotten chicken dishes and really like them! This place is so fire, I could eat it everyday. The portions are really good, and the man who greets you is very nice! Only giving 4 stars because they don't accept credit/debit cards! But the food is a 11/10!

Food is always hot and tastes good. Takeout only, more importantly CASH ONLY. Very busy at times.

I'd eat here as a last minute decision/last resort. The food isn't amazing and the prices are a little much for so-so Chinese food.

Was recently visiting friends in Annapolis and they suggested making the short 15 min drive across…read morethe Thomas Johnson Bridge (or what the locals refer to as the Solomons Bridge) into nearby Edgewater to have dinner at Nova. I usually approach suburban sushi joints with a bit of trepidation, but tbh, I had an excellent experience here. Located in a cookie-cutter strip mall, the place was PACKED on a Friday night. The interior could also be described as "any Asian restaurant in America" with tile flooring, dark hardwood furniture, a large sushi bar, and generic art pieces on the wall. We started with an appetizer of Edamame and small bottles of hot sake. The soybeans were steamed in their pods and lightly salted and had that addictive quality which paired well with the slightly sweet and acidic flavor profile of sake. Sushi plate arrived about 10 minutes later, and again for suburb sushi, I was pleasantly surprised. Standouts included: * spider roll - Deep fried soft shell crab is a standard bearer and is a reflection of the sushi chefs skills. Crab had a light batter and wasn't overly oily. * Spicy scallop - Anytime a place advertises a dish as being spicy, my default is it will be "American level spicy." The scallops tasted fresh and didn't have any slimy texture (unlike at some places). Cucumber and tempura bits added a nice crunch; spicy mayo was more sweet than adding any heat. * Wicked Tuna Roll - Actually, quite good. Inside the roll contained spicy tuna, cukes, onions; which was then topped with cuts of tuna and a jalpeno "salsa." All of the contrasting flavors complemented each other. Service was as expected. Wait staff arrived within 3 minutes of initial seating, kept water glasses filled, and frequently stopped by to check on us. If you're out in Edgewater or the Annapolis area and are seeking good sushi, bookmark Nova.

Everything…read moreon the menu is familiar and elevated by the Chef and kitchen staff, which will satisfy a wide variety of palates. Why I encourage you to dine at Legal Assets is for the service. Particularly Shelby - our server for the evening. She is kind, funny, playful, knowledgeable, quirky, attentive, and conscientious. What this translates to is Shelby elevated our dining experience, and we are thankful to have crossed her path. I rarely compliment or review the front of the house. Mainly because most of them lack basic restaurant skills; food preparation knowledge; customer service; and are generally void of a personality. Restaurateurs - When your servers think a bouillabaisse is a cream soup, it's your fault - do better. So back to Shelby. Words of flattery cannot fully describe how outstanding our experience was as we were attended to through a multi-course meal. To this point, you will have to reserve a table at Legal Assets and experience for yourself. And if you are lucky, you may be sat within Shelby's section for a joyful time.

I figured the fried rice and salt and pepper wings would be a good place to start...figured I had worked hard that week and topped it off with a fresh squeezed lemonade.... I arrived in 20 min and my food was there ready to be picked up...unfortunately I also ordered and extra drink...a half and half (blame it on my quick fingers I guess)....I drove home but decided to try the half and half in the car...few sips and I looked to see what happened.......straight fire, no self control lol....expensive but well worth it...very refreshing...I hate to type it...but I believe they have chic fil a beat.. The place is a quiet restaurant tucked away in the corner of a strip mall and the service from beginning to end was very kind. The menu was borderline overwhelming because there were so many choices. You almost have to go in with a game plan. They have street food style cuisine, large plates, and a ton of options. The good news is that out of everything I tried, they were all delicious, so I don't know that there's a bad game plan to be made here. Everything was very well-balanced and had great depth of flavors. This is also the type of restaurant where when they say spicy, it means spicy, so just be forewarned. Awesome spot and would totally recommend if you're in the area.

The Laotian papaya salad was SO good and tasted very authentic. We got level 2 spice, and it was definitely spicy, but in a really good way. I hope they keep the spice levels that way because it really keeps things authentic. The only thing I was missing was the little fermented baby crabs! We also ordered the basil chili crisp pork belly dish and the Pad Thai Supreme, and both were excellent. Portions were big enough that we had leftovers. Such a cute, clean restaurant with friendly service. I'm already addicted to the papaya salad and will definitely be coming back!

I placed a catering/pickup order at 8:30 AM for my friend's birthday, with a scheduled pickup time of 12:30 PM. When I arrived to pick up the order, I was told that everything I had ordered was sold out. The frustrating part was that I was never notified ahead of time, so I had no opportunity to make another selection before arriving. Since my friend doesn't eat chicken, I had to find another seafood option on the spot. Once I found something that would work, I had to pay an additional $15 and then wait another 20 minutes for the new order. I normally go to the Locust Point location and have never really had issues there, so I don't want this experience to give the impression that I think Ekiben is bad overall. This was genuinely just one bad experience. The food itself is still AMAZING. I'm obsessed with the Tacklebox, the tempura broccoli is , and the chili noodles are an absolute SMASH. I'll definitely still be back because I genuinely love Ekiben -- I just hope there's better communication when an item from a scheduled order is no longer available.
