This is my favorite sushi place in southern Maryland. My partner and I make the 45 minute drive here everytime we want sushi and asian food. We have never been disappointed and everything always tastes fresh! I've tried many of their different sushi rolls and a few of their asian dishes like the general tso chicken and pineapple fried rice. They also have a great lunch special that runs from Monday to Saturday! The service is always quick despite how busy they can be and I love the variety of food they offer. Even if you don't love sushi, there's plenty of other options like ramen, chinese food, habachi (only offered on Friday to Sunday), and much more. Menu was a bit limited, Japanese items I really wanted were only served on weekends. It's been diluted to include non Japanese dishes, Chinese, Thai, Filipino, generic Asian . Green tea served in one cup, not a pot full. Meal arrived lukewarm even though there weren't that many people in the restaurant. My wife and I love Nagoya and have been going there since it opened. I got her favorite bento box for lunch. When I ordered the box, the very nice person on the phone said "soup or salad", I didn't understand because when you get it for dine in it come with both. DH and came here for lunch when they opened on a Sunday and we were glad we came at that time. Not long after we got there, the restaurant started filling up with large parties and the after church crowd. We were seated almost immediately and we got menus and had our drinks delivered to our table quickly. We noticed that multiple servers came to our table to check on us and bring us our food so we weren't sure if we had an "assigned" server for our table. Our food arrived shortly after and the restaurant got even busier. I'm convinced this place must be popular! The food was a perfect temperature and it was tasty! So why 4 stars and not 5? Just a few things - several of the employees were coughing too much for our comfort and the other reason was because [[HIGHLIGHT]]a family came in pushing a stroller and they were seated at a table where the only place they could put the stroller was on either side of the table where the stroller would be in the way. I ate there several years ago on my birthday, with my kids, and I got my debit card skimmed, is stolen, and sold into the dark web there. Do not use your debit card or credit card there. They have a long history of doing this and just recently did it to some more of my family members, but I guess people have to learn the hard way. Only use cash at this place! We liked the sushi but don't eat there very often because they have a credit card scam going. I've seen online other reviews where undercover cops got their credit card skimmed there too. We have loved coming to Nagoya whenever we are in town. It has become a staple for our family. The food is great and the service is usually good as well. Tonight we had a bad experience with the staff. We arrived at 8:30pm because the app and their own website all say they close at 10pm. They seemed annoyed we were there and came to the table every two minutes trying to box our food instead of eating it there. They put their coats on and were just staring at us eating and looked angry and were talking about us. We didn't feel welcomed at all and felt rushed to eat. Reception from the hostess was extremely dry but the waiter was excellent. For lunch I tried the General Tso's Chicken with Fried Rice and the Dream Roll. The sushi portion was large and the taste was okay but for under $13 dollars I wasn't expecting a high end product. It will definitely fix a sushi craving and if you're willing to settle for decent quality at an affordable price, this is the place to go. My only complaint is that the shrimp used in the dish wasn't properly cleaned/devained. The General Tso's had visible pieces of white meat but the dish lacked freshness and crunch. The fried rice was good albeit very basic...again for $8.50/lunch, served with miso soup or salad (I got salad, basic iceberg with unmemorable dressing), you get what you pay for. The highlight of the meal was the very attentive and friendly waiter. He's the reason for the 4 stars (sushi is a 3 at best and General Tso's is a 2). Another positive was the very clean restroom. The sushi is great! The pho was the worst we've ever had. My brother took one bite and that was it. They gave no garnishes and sauces. The waiter took forever as well. The pho came out first but by the time all the sushi came out (9 rolls) and after being asked 4 times for the sauces for the pho we finally got it. Soup was cold by then. The meat used looked like it was for their hibachi so super thick not the thin slices in your typical pho. The meat used were beef, chicken and shrimp. The broth tasted like it was meant for udon as well. The waiter even asked if we wanted a to go box for the pho, we all said no at the same time. But overall, the sushi is good. Better to eat there than to go as well. Also the hibachi was also not what we were used to either. The veggies smothered in sauce but the meat super dry. Small serving as well. read more

My wife and I have been loyal customers since we moved Jan 2021. We would eat more times a week. Everyone knew us except this lady with Glasses and an older looking guy. They seemed like "abov" the others. Who cares right? One day we show up one hour before the scheduled time to close and the Lady with glasses in a real loud voice said " We are closing soon." Nagoya is a local's love! MD proud company that celebrates traditional Japanese culture with the best sushi that I've had living in MD, in all of my years growing up. Amazing staff, very clean bath rooms and surprisingly it never feels too crowded no matter how many people are in the restaurant, unlike most restaurants in town. I would recommend the Roll Boat for newbies because they let you mix between the chef specials and the signature specials at a very reasonable price. The chicken tempura is a VERY delicious appetizer (which all my kids enjoyed so much). All food is very fresh and service in house! Highly recommend for anyone. Another great local spot here in Prince Frederick Maryland. Came here for an evening bite. Did not want anything heavy so I came upon this Asian Bistro that had a variety of eats from different parts of Asia. They had sushi, noodles and Hibachi from Japan, and cuisines from China, Vietnam and Thailand. I chose the Yaki Udon with chicken. The dish was flavorful and the noodles were soft and tender. With the chicken, the vegetables, the sauce and other ingredients all complimented each other. It was not filing at all but satisfied my stomach just right. The service was great along with the food. The food is always amazing, but my only complaint is the service. Every time I've gone in to eat, the servers are not friendly, and they rush you out. If it was busy, I would understand they need the seats for the next customer... but that has never been the case. Today's interaction is what broke the straw for me. I went in to pick up my carry out and the lady who "helped" me was angry that I didn't go to the drive thru. Then gave me my order, slammed the receipt down for me to sign and walked away without saying anything more. I requested just a check from their POS (point of sale system) which doesn't require the internet). they already had my card. finally had my card & ran it multiple times despite is saying we'd pay cash. days later re discovered multiple charges pending on our card. tried to reconcile bill one as we were visiting from out of town. we were told the charges would drop off but manager wouldn't acknowledge we paid cash but offered us a return visit for a complainer of equal value (heck no). More attempts to solve the issue to solve the challenge were unsuccessful so I had to dispute the charge which took days with USAA and down the narrative with notes, coooes, dates and times all for $72. read more
