Worst company!! I never write reviews but wow these people have no morals. I went out to dinner walked out and my friend's car was missing. Some sketchy guy came up to us and said oh are you looking for your car? It's towed and told me a number to call. (There were no visible signs). We Uber'ed to this run down spot and the guy charged us $600 to get the car back. He said I can Zelle him (uh no). We were only at dinner for an hour. The worst part is there was another girl there that just came to this country and had little to no money and they wouldn't give her discount or help her. It was pretty sad and pathetic to see grown men scam women. This company is no good and complete scam artist. read more

Ez Towing might have been the worst experience I have ever had with anyone regarding automate services. For context, I had parked in a private parking lot to pickup food. I was in the restaurant for maybe 15 minutes. When I had picked up my food I came back to my vehicle to find that it's missing. So I called the tow truck company sign that was listed in the parking lot and I was told over the phone the initial fee for release would be $290. I had then had to walk to the tow company which was a 15 minute walk or a 2 minute drive only to be told my vehicle hasn't even been delivered yet. This didn't add up because I had walked to the impound lot which took around 20 minutes and the drive was only 2 minutes. I was then told at the desk that there would be another $80 fee because as soon as the vehicle touches the property it's considered storage. I told the man working that I was not going to pay this fee because the car wasn't even in the lot yet. He then told me to go outside and wait my for my car in the most unprofessional manner. So now I'm standing in the street waiting to see my car being towed in just to find out that the driver had another passenger in the vehicle. To me it seemed that they stopped to get a sweet treat while my vehicle was on their tow truck. Completely unprofessional! Then after my vehicle had reached the lot I wasn't able to release it because of its expired registration which is fair. What isn't fair is that upon reading the invoice I was secretly charged another $85 just because I had went into my car to retrieve the paperwork. Would've been nice if I was told this before doing so. My older brother had then came down to sort out the situation that this scam business is running. As soon as he was seen in the office they immediately told him to leave because "the office was closed" and yet my brother had asked politely to speak with him outside yet he refused and said to call the phone number. Seems very unprofessional as they claim they aren open 24 hours. After this we had left to come back the next day with temporary moving tags in order to get my car out of this scums property. My mother had then came to retrieve the vehicle and was charged $528 in total. Seems a bit over the top for a tow that was a 2 minute drive away and sat in the lot for less than 24 hours. We had just paid and left because at this point theres no point in arguing with business owners who have certain loopholes to protect the scam they are running. I would advise everyone to not trust this company because it is an absolute money grab. Im surprised this place is still running and hopefully it will be shut down. The employees are so rude and have no respect for young adults. I already know Morris will be responding to this review with whatever bs he has to say about this situation. Just know that everyone on social media knows about your scam operation and I would suggest switching fields to something that suits you. Next time if you're going to impound my car for $530 at least offer me the sweat treat you decided to go get with my car on the back of your tow. Stay away from this towing company. They are not trustworthy! They made my 94 and 91 year old parents wait for 2 hours when it was only supposed to be one hour and then left us stranded. They canceled at the last minute and it was 8:30 pm. We were an hour from home where they were supposed to tow us. They lied and changed their story. Stay away! BEWARE! The driver that the owner dispatched was rude and unprofessional and lied to me and the BMW dealership they were supposed to tow us to. We had to wait 6 hours to get a tow. Worst tow truck company I have ever dealt with. Rude, unprofessional, lied, and cancelled on us at the last minute. Stranded in a parking lot 50 miles from home in a dark parking lot. At 8:15 his dispatched tow truck called and said couldn't get car because couldn't go Irvine because no drop off. Irvine BMW called them and said they could drop off. They told BMW Irvine they didn't want to drive to Irvine. After over 3 hours of waiting they called me a t 8:15, were extremely rude and disrespectful and said they didn't care I had 91 and 94 year old parents that had been waiting for tow with me. Genuinely just rude, uncommunicative, sleazy, cash grab human beings. Per usual it's men taking advantage of young women who think they don't know better. My car was taken and I called to try to get it shortly after, before my car had even made it to the lot. They told me it would be at the lot in 10 minutes, so I went to go pick it up. I've never had my car towed, so granted I did not know what I needed to get it. I show up, they told me I needed xyz to get it AFTER I get there. I did not have a physical copy of my registration, I showed my online copies and they said they needed a physical copy. That's fine, I completely understand. HOWEVER. NOBODY THERE communicated that there is an AFTER HOURS CHARGE; I THOUGHT THIS WAS OPEN 24 HOURS AS IT STATES ONLINE. WHY AREN'T YOUR HOURS STATED CLEARLY ONLINE? ITS NOT 24 HOURS, ONLY THE TOWING ITSELF IS 24 HOURS. OFFICE HOURS DIFFER AND ARE NOT CLEARLY AND EASILY STATED ONLINE. YOU CANNOT GO AFTER 5PM TO GET YOUR CAR OR IT WILL BE AN EXTRA $200. They told me the soonest I could come get it would be 11:00PM that night. I call and show up at 11:00. All of a sudden there are now 2 different bills. One charging the after hours and one not. I told him I didn't know about the after hours, he said I could wait for the person that helped me to come back. So I wait for over an hour. The next person shows up, I ask why there's new charges? He FINALLY explains the policies, at midnight. Honestly, Im crying at this point, i'm stressed out and nervous being in Van Nuys at midnight trying to get my car. I say ok can I come back tomorrow to avoid the new charges. He says "we're already in the process now so you will have to pay it anyway, even if you come tomorrow." At this point I just shut down and paid the fee and said absolutely nothing and got my car and left. I was speechless at the lack of communication and lack of care for any customers and providing good service. They care about the money, and the money only. Truly hope nobody has to endure what I did. This place is a scam and a rip off! They lied to me and told me they were representing Lexus when they came to tow my car after an accident. Then, to top things off, it was nearly impossible to reach them on the telephone after they took my car for several days calling and calling. They didn't want to give the card to my insurance company and then ended up charging them $3000. This shit is criminal.! Then, when I went to go check my car today I found out that they've ransacked it and have taken my sunglasses out of my glove box. When I called them, of course they denied. So let me start by saying, most people who have to come to a tow yard are going to be bitter. So yes, we were a little bitter but no fault of theirs. Yes the fees suck. Yes the experience sucks. I spoke with the owner himself, Morris, and he was patient amidst my concern and answered all my questions. He met me at my car's location within minutes when he could have sent one of his employees, instead he came himself as he clearly sensed my anxiety. Dispatch was very rude and angry at me for asking the ETA of the tow truck after I was stuck for 5 hours and waited for them. worst. I had an accident and they came to pick up my car and took it straight to their tow yard no information just sign and bye. I'm sure they were hoping I wouldn't be able to find my car so they can rack up them fees. It didn't matter they took for ever to get to the pick up location and they charge by the hour as soon as they get that call they start ur timer no matter where they are. they took the car at 6pm and I went the next morning at 10 am to pick up and they were closed until 10pm they would reopen that is what I was told over the phone. also told if I come after midnight they would add extra charges i was also told that when we come at 10 our fees were $692 and when we asked if our car was ok and was it driveable so was it worth it to take out he said yes but not on highway. he said It was leaking transmission fluid. He said if we wanted to give him pink slip he would take off 50% of the tow charge. trying to scam people it's sad there are no honest people these days. me and husband came back that night at 10pm and called and was told they were closed and that nobody was coming in to work that night my husband went off because he not for the games and thats what these tow yards do play games. that man changed his answer and said let me make a call and find out. He came back and said yes somebody coming in a few. they running late. They were hoping for us to be like ok and come back next day owing $900 or some bs. We got our car out finally that night and by the way they Tried to charge us $808 was t happening with my husband by my side of course went back down to $692. This company is a joke. The owner/manager is the scum of the earth and so are his employees. My car was towed there for a parking violation, which I accepted. However, from tow to lot, which was less than one hour, they charged me every fee imaginable. A one hour tow fee? It took the guy less than ten minutes to bring it to their lot. A storage fee? Like I said, my car was in their possession from tow to lot less than one hour. An after hours fee? They are open 24 hours! They have someone employed there and picking up calls. They responded to my brother's accident in the freeway. The driver yell and threaten my brother to impound the vehicle because we ask them to drop it off somewhere else and not their yard. Greg got there before the estimated time we were given and even drove a mile outside of his way to pick up our stroller. I'll begin by saying I'm newly handicapped. I was parked in a handicapped spot displaying my placard appropriately over the rear-view mirror in a designated spot. There was no available street parking where I was going, so I parked in the lot next door in a handicapped space. When I came back, I was surprised to see my car was in the process of being towed. The sign posted at the ENTRANCE of the parking lot (and not anywhere else on the premises reads: "Unauthorized vehicles parked in designated accessible spaces not displaying distinguishing placards or special license plates issued for persons with disabilities will be towed away at the owner's expense. Towed vehicles may be reclaimed at EZ Tow or by telephoning (818) 780-5588". My placard was displayed and I was NOT in the wrong here to park in this space. Regardless... it's a new thing for me. I had a horrific accident a year ago leaving me permanently disabled and I'm still learning the rules. So I asked for him to explain why I couldn't park there. He told me it's a private lot and I am in the wrong. Fine... I paid the $94.50 and was just trying to get home. His tone with me was rude and aggressive. I am a kind, respectful person, so I was definitely not poking the bear in any way. We got on with things. I recorded the scene and took photos. He said, "Well, if you're taking videos and photos, I may as well too!" And I said, "I'm not taking photos because of you. I'm taking it because I don't feel I'm in the wrong here. That's not on you." He tells me I'm free to go. I sat and waited for him to move his tow truck because, now I'm shaken up and worried about space - I didn't want to hit anything or his truck and it was a small lot. He then started to back in to my car in my direction! I put my arms up as to say "what are you doing?" and he got out of his truck and now is yelling at me, "I can't leave until you do, LET'S GO!" I explained, "I can't see through your truck, Sir and I can't see if I can get around you." He, still yelling says, "THERE'S NOBODY ELSE HERE! MOVE!" I roll my window up and carefully navigate around his large tow truck and the very small parking lot we are in. Once I got around him and to the exit of the lot, he starts clapping loudly and shouts in the most sarcastic manner possible, "YAAAAAAY!!! YOU DID IT!!!!". I put my car in park (now blocking the exit and got out of my vehicle and went over to his window. Mind you, all of this is being witnessed by my girlfriend who was listening to the entire thing over the phone. I asked him, "What is your problem?? Do you just get off on making fun of disabled people??" He looked me up and down and said, "Oh honey, you don't exactly LOOK disabled." Which by the way is an offense in itself. No one can question whether or not a disabled person is so. I replied to him and said "Do you want to see my injuries?!" "No... that's not necessary. Just move your damn car!" I looked at him and said, "Wow. You must really be an unhappy person." (all this anger for what?! I never did anything to provoke him). Now, he was really pissed and told me to fuck myself and called me a CUNT. The entire time of this, until the end, I handled myself very well. All I really wanted to know was the law on things so I didn't do the same thing twice, I didn't dispute paying him. And I was met with anger and verbal abuse through the entire incident. If you are a company that uses this tow truck company, PLEASE DON'T. If you care about others at all, don't let this "man" threaten any more people. Never use this tow truck company and certainly don't be on your own if you are even met with this truck. read more

They were trying to charge me almost $700 to get it out even though I was the victim of the accident. The CHP called these folks to help clear a four-car accident on the 101 in which three of us were hit by a reckless driver. A kind, professional driver loaded up my totaled car and another one, and gave us all a ride to the tow yard. The office person was helpful on the phone in regards to dealing with the insurance inspector and arranging for us to retrieve our belongings from the car. My friend had her car towed here and on the SAME DAY that it was towed, they were charging her $172-; however, she didn't have the full amount to pay for it, so I offered to pay the $72- that she didn't have in cash and called this place to give them my credit card. The "manager", Jonathan, was belligerent and rude and perhaps has NEVER imagined the concept of customer service; he had an aggressive demeanor and gleefully told me that since I am not the registered owner of the vehicle, my credit card will not be accepted!! Are you kidding me?? Isn't money, money?? NO!! They want to make it as difficult as they can for people to pay them so they can...charge them double, which they did !! He was sarcastic and filled with schadenfreude and stated that since it was 9:00 pm and not 5:00 pm, my friend's charge to get her car out now had risen inexplicably and arbitrarily to $314.10-!!!! EXTREMELY unprofessional. The driver working the night of 11/21/16 in Encino threatened to not return my car because I asked him when he would be to the tow lot. I called and asked where I could pick up my car, he gave me an address, and left it at that. I showed up, and no one was home, so I called him and the threats began. Awful. This company was sent to tow my car through American Express Roadside Assistance. It was a horrific experience. I thought the driver was going to hit me. He called to say he was coming but told me he was 3-4 minutes away. Then he called, angry, asking where I was. Apparently, he was at my building when he called the first time. Misunderstanding. I raced downstairs. He was in a foul mood. I tried to keep it nice...the dude is about to tow my baby. He then gets in my car and drives it, fast, towards the flatbed. I called out for him to stop, as my tire was so flat the rims were grinding on the road. He said, "how do you expect me to get your car on the truck? Pick it up?" I told him to back his truck up and winch my car onto the flatbed, which is what I'd experience with previous flatbed tows. He lunges out of the car and challenges me, "do you want me to tow your car or not?" becoming even more aggressive when I said I didn't want him to tow my car. Then, when asked, he refused to give his name. He sped away. I was left very shaken. Do not use this company. I did not feel safe with this man. To make matters worse. EZ Tow defended the driver's action. Bullying, aggression, and frightening a customer is not acceptable. Not to mention the careless way he handled my car, which then led to the aggressive confrontation. This company does not care about you or your car. Horrible, horrible experience. read more

Just had an incident on Ventura Blvd. in Sherman Oaks with one of the drivers for this company. The driver has obvious road rage issues and pulled up behind me in traffic at a red light, got out of his truck, came to my driver side window, began yelling at me, and before walking away hit both my window and the rear driver side window with his fist all while towing someones vehicle and the persons vehicle he was towing was sitting in the tow truck. This happened b/c I didn't let him in front of me while he was driving too fast and had to go around a metro bus. I called the company right a way and spoke to Eddy the manager who said he would handle this issue. I sure hope b/c someone working with the public who has such anger issues should consider what they are doing. Oh and might I add that I'm pregnant? Totally wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
