If it tooks someone 2 minutes to fix it, they are moving SLOW! I needed the little loop soldered back together that holds my cross on the chain. (Btw-it's sterling silver not gold) The gentlemen was friendly - but said it would cost me about $75 because they had to turn the machine on. Needless to say I was shocked. I also enquired about a ring that has 2 small diamonds missing. I was quoted $150.00 - $20 for the 2 stones and $130 for the labor. Again...shocked. *Now here is the interesting part to this review. I called on 8.21.25 and asked how much it would be to fix my cross and said this gentlemen said "no more than $25 and would take about 1 hour. I could leave it and run an errand or two and come back." I am very confused now. I would really like to do business here but now I'm just not sure. Still on the fence... The employees they have are hardly ever knowledgeable about the items they sale or would rarely buy any items you take because they honestly don't know if they could make a profit from it or not unless told directly from the manager. Even the managers themselves aren't to knowledgeable, I took a 10k gold necklace to see if I could get a loan until my checks and bill dates would correlate, I know prices in gold fluctuate so I checked what the rate was for the day and figured how much it would be just for it's weight. I had cut that price in half and that what was the amount I was going to get a loan for. I was there for about 30 to 45 minutes standing there while they kept testing it with their acid. They decided to pass on it, which I can respect but what I don't respect is being lied to. I asked could he tell me why he passed on it because I want to know if there's something wrong or funny with the necklace I paid a couple grand for from a reputable place. I was told by the manager himself that the acid test wasn't the right color but when asked to see the test drops ( which was just on the other side of the counter top) he said they already cleaned it off but I could clearly see them do the test and he did not have anything in his possession to clean the slate but I didn't argue because it would be pointless. He went on to tell me that it was most likely just gold plated because it was giving slight silver colors. I said ok thanks for the info then I left. Went to 2 other pawnshops and both were willing to give me the loan I asked for. I told them what I was told from this pawnshop, they made a weird face and kind of laughed about it saying "that guy doesn't know what he was talking about" Long story short, always get a second opinion and if you can avoid this place...I would highly advise it
