She offered to hold the drum for me all week since I couldn't get there until Saturday. I work in North Dallas and it was still a bit of drive to Denton, but boy was it worth it. I asked a question about the drum to the owner, Glen, and the first words out of his mouth were, "I know that I'm taking off $15.00 because of a slight tear on the drum head!" I hadn't even noticed it! He then offered to help me whenever I wanted to replace the drum head in the far future. His employee was also very nice. I went in with a bunch of Libertads which definitely sell for premiums but he would only offer me Kitco spot. For these you're better off just selling them on FB Marketplace cause all the gold and silver guys in Dallas/ Ft Worth area want to buy it below spot so they can make even more when they re-sell for the huge premiums that they deserve. I was able to sell 100 Troy oz of other silver coins that were just one-offs I had bought when silver was at $24 so I was ok to take the spot minus .90 Basic blocking and tackling here. While I was in the shop four or five people came in all looking to sell some gold and silver so he seems to be in the right place. He's a nice guy, straight up with you for the most part. He was kind enough to trade me some copies of 2013 silver ms70 pandas for some 2018 that he had to help fill out some holes in my collection. Just basic gold and silver I'd take here in the future, but premium coins I'd need to find another buyer.
