They are so kind, so thoughtful, and take such care with the entire process, including developing a layout of the new apartment, figuring out which furniture will fit and where, and then -- almost magically -- quickly and carefully and efficiently packing, moving, and unpacking everything so that when you walk into the "new" apartment, everything looks just like home. They were flexible with us as we had to reschedule due to weather, and had several complicated moves that were handled very well. As with any move, we took care ourselves to wrap things, communicate our needs and expectations, but I would do that with any mover. Ask questions, clarify and explain what you want. All furniture was wrapped carefully with moving blankets and secured and all breakables were treated with care. I've never seen a team of people work so hard!

It wasn't intentional, but the amount of damage we saw was much more than what I would have been okay with. The furniture and location was difficult however given that everything made it to where they needed to be, I'm sure it could have been done much more carefully. That made this pretty mid tier service. So 3 stars. And that's what we initially put in our review. But then after putting in our claim on damages with ample proof of damages, and also our honest review, my wife received a call from one of the movers asking us to take down the poor review because they would get in trouble with the owners. Now I'm wondering goes on behind the scenes because the good reviews seems much more shady now. How many other reviews got asked to be taken down? They got the move done and did it relatively quick given the difficulty. The price was rather high given the quality of work completed. And given how quick they were to request us to take a poor review down to me deserves an even poorer review. Honestly, if they had taken accountability right away to the damages I would have felt better about a simple 3 star review. I can't in good conscience recommend Zip Moving and Storage.

He never did, then when I finally got ahold of someone, a woman answered and told me he died. I'm not saying that was a lie, but as such I have her 2 months to get back to business and try to figure out what she was going to do about my table. That never happened and when I finally did get ahold of someone after the 2 months, they answered, acted like they couldn't speak English, and blocked me! The main reason I hired movers in the first place was to move this table and the matching couch table because they're very heavy! They didn't listen when I told them that they needed to move them first, so after moving the couch, loveseat, recliner, and matching table, theiy were hot and tired! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!! My movers were supposed to arrive between 12-2pm (with the coordinator I spoke to saying it would most likely be 12), but they did not arrive until after 4pm. They were nice guys; but they didn't handle my stuff with care. I have nicks and a huge new scratch on my dresser -- I should've seen the red flag when they didn't wrap it (I've moved this dresser many times before and movers have always wrapped it) but just wanted to get the move over with. This dresser has stayed in perfect condition for several years and several moves, so I'm a bit heartbroken. I also have a hugeeeeee rip on my mattress (picture also attached). I'm unsure of how this will impact support and may have to buy an entirely new one. Throughout the process, I just felt very uneasy about how they were handling my stuff. They broke another one of items as well as a hallway light in my new apartment. I don't know if I have any recourse here because I noticed these things after they left, and don't have any before pictures. However, I'll try to get in touch with Blue Skies on Monday and update my review.
