Best place I have ever been. Called to see when their last appointment of the day was since I was stopping by after work and on my way home. They were willing to take me which I greatly appreciated. After I walked in and checked in the owner and nail tech-Sam addressed me by name. Sam was super friendly and engaged me in conversation. They made me feel very welcomed. Nail polish selection is one of the best I have seen-12 rows/3 sections of Essie and China Glaze nail polishes. They open a new file kit with every customer and give you the kit to take home-Guarantee that health codes are being followed, I really appreciated this!!! Each pedicure tub is bagged so the client's feet are not actually touching the tub. Once they are done, they drained the bag in the tub. I was getting my manicure as I watched them wipe down the shop with cleaning supplies and sweeping up. Sadly I watch many places do a crappy job at this but Ezzie was on top of it. The store actually received an award from Yelp in the mail while I was there. Nail salons are a dime a dozen these days, but you most certainly won't find one that comes close to comparing to Ezzie!! It's in a category of its own. Recently, I decided to go back to acrylics. We also moved a couple of months ago, so I'm back to square one for a lot of the types of places I've gone in the past. So I consulted trusty Yelp to get me through. It didn't fail! Called this morning for an appointment with Tyler this afternoon. I read great reviews and saw a few pics on the app and decided he's my style. I was seated on time with my appointment. And the hilarity ensued. I was seated next to another customer who was hilarious, with Jackie and Tyler as our techs. The conversation wasn't dull or lacking at all. It's amazing the amount of topics covered in the amount of time it takes to get a full set. Lol I will also note that this shop is insanely clean. They bag the pedicure tubs, give everyone a new file and buffer which you can take with you when you leave, and wipe down every surface. Their ventilation is also top notch. I've never seen a nail salon more clean, and I've been to plenty of them. That was the most fun I have ever had in any type of salon. And my nails look freaking awesome!! I loooove them! This salon is beautiful. The set up is amazing, and the location is nice, but parking can be a bit troublesome dependent upon the time of the year. Jason, who was one of the nail technicians did a phenomenal job on my pedicure. He took his time, and just gave me an overall great experience. My problem with this salon was their customer service or lack there of. When my friend and I entered, we were not greeted and the owner/manager took minutes to even acknowledge that we were there. Keep in mind that he was sitting right in front of us with his back turned. When he finally acknowledged us, it took even longer for them to decide who was going to give me the pedicure. So my friend and I were standing in awkward limbo while people stared at us, waiting to be escorted in the back. When we were finally seated, we were seated in the furtherest area, away from the other customers. Please keep in mind, there was seating in the front. When I got my no chip manicure, my friend sat next to me in one of the reception seats. At this time, other people were entering into the establishment, and were being greeted as soon as they walked in. My friend asked one of the technicians how long would it take for her to be serviced if she did decide to get a manicure, and she was ignored until the technician next to mine looked up and confirmed that she wanted a manicure. The owner/manager then made a very public and distasteful joke at the fact that my friend was moving across the room. Please keep in mind, this owner/manager has had a pattern of being rude from the time we walked in. Honestly, I think they did a great job on my mani/pedi. The quality of the service varies dramatically depending on which technician is doing your nails, but it is overall good service, that is why I keep coming back after maybe a couple of years as a client. But one recent aspect was very frustrating to me, that is why I don't recommend gift cards from them. I go there once a month, so my husband thought of a nice gesture and got me a gift card for Mother's Day but didn't keep the receipt. I tried to use it and was told there was no balance, and even after I explained it was not possible because it had never been used, they said they were sorry but nothing could be done about it, so we basically lost the "investment" and no one cared to resolve the situation, which wasn't my fault. I am disappointed with my last visit, as is my wife. I made our appointments in advance and specifically requested Jean/jin... came in and was told after being seated if someone else could do my manicure and pedicure because you had too many special services that required her. I agreed and regret it. The lady who did my nails was just ok...typically my hands look great for almost two weeks. It has been less than one and they are looking horrible. In addition when our pedicures were finished we had to sit in the pedicure chairs for almost another hour which was very uncomfortable. All because the manicure chairs were full. Why not do them at the same time....it shouldn't take two hours for a mani and pedi. You are trying to accommodate so many walk ins and neglecting those who make appointments. We book in advance for a reason, and that's not to feel like cattle. At this time my wife does not want to return as this is her second bad experience. I am almost on the same page with her. We get top tier packages and tip very well, to be treated in this manner in unacceptable. You are right....I agreed, when I shouldn't have. You are wrong about accommodating walk ins...A couple walked in, no appointment and you told them 15 minutes....I should have said I wasn't satisfied fully, but it took a while to digest and the look of my nails days later made my decision to comment. They offered water and other beverages to me and my family. My friend had Sky and he also did an amazing job! They gave us a discount because it is close to her birthday and they offered to give us glow in the dark nails for a discount too. They are amazing 10/10 would recommend. The reason this salon has so many five star reviews is due to the cheerful, welcoming, and personable experience you get from the staff. Usually when getting serviced at Asian salons, they either spend most of the time speaking their language which always seems to happen when a pair of ugly feet enters the scene, or they stare off into space with a look wishing they were anywhere but there. At Ezzie, the atmosphere is very warm, they speak English very well and they speak it consistently to you and amongst themselves. A few of the employees are couples and that makes for a comforting environment especially when Tyler and Ken start telling jokes. The camaraderie is great! I have walked by this place a million times and never thought to give them a try until I was in search of a salon the did "dipping". Dip is the newest trend in nails which is a cross between gel/no chip but without the UV light and acrylic without the fake nail application. It's a very interesting process that takes just about the same length of time as gel/no chip. The consensus seems to be that it lasts longer than gel/no chip. Ken did my nails and I really appreciated how meticulous he was in making sure my nails were perfect and they still are! I love the look and length and it has been several days and my cuticles have not shredded. Nancy did my pedicure and she was also very friendly and talkative and she too paid close attention to detail. My feet still look great. I was originally going to do just acrylic, but he sold me on doing the dip and I'm glad I did it. They really have never looked better! I probably do my nails once a year. I've never been able to find a nail salon I actually liked. Found this place on yelp and decided to book an appointment. My appointment was at 4 and was seated to start my pedi. I had the deluxe pedi and it was awesome. I've never seen a salon do nor offer the things they did. Half way through another employee came over to start working on my acrylics. I decided to try the dip set. I had originally picked a different color and luckily she picked a better color. I was a bit worried because my appointment was at 4 and they close at 4:30. They took their time and made sure I was comfortable. I had a fun time chatting with the ladies and relaxing. Price is normal from what I've seen. They do offer some type of reward program which is pretty sweet. Parking did not seem like an issue. Busy time is around 1pm on Sunday. Salon was very clean. Most of the nail spots in the Geneva area give me anxiety because they're either too cramped, questionably clean or I feel like they're rushing. Out of desperation to make my feet presentable for an upcoming trip, I asked my daughter for a recommendation & she said Ezzie. She did recommend making an appointment because they're usually pretty busy. I called, made an appointment & got in that same day (weekday). I was greeted when I walked in the door with a hello & a smile. I was impressed with how bright & spacious it was. I picked out my polish (they have a very large selection) and was escorted back to my pedi chair, where I had ample time to soak my feet in a bowl that had a fresh plastic liner (no soaking in a tub with other peoples dead skin cells!) the chairs were exceptionally comfortable & not crowded. There was also a surprisingly large number of men enjoying pedicure services. It was nice to see. Nick did my pedicure & I'm not kidding when I say it was one of the best pedicures of my life. It was soooo relaxing, I almost fell asleep in the chair. I've been to most of the big name spas in Chicago, New York & LA so I've had some great pedicures but this ranked way up there. And my toes look great. Nick & I then moved over to the manicure station. I went with a no-chip and they actually give you a 2 week guarantee card. My nails are beautiful. Nick's attention to detail was impeccable & he was very gentle filing & with my cuticles, which I appreciate. And, all of their tools are sanitized, so I'm not worried about getting a staph infection. This has much more of a spa like feel than an express nail place. I probably spent an hour & 45 minutes there, but it was so relaxing I didn't mind. They do accept credit cards but cash tips are appreciated. I highly recommend treating yourself. read more

Lily is perhaps the meanest individual I have ever had give me a manicure/pedicure. Negative, argumentative, and very mean for NO reason. She is clearly in the wrong business. She cut my finger, which certainly understand can happen. When I asked if she could put drops on it she told me it was my fault because the skin was dry. Told me I wore the wrong shoes - should have brought things instead of slides, my previous pedicure was terrible, and I should be lucky I got in without an appointment. I tried from the beginning to make friendly conversation, but she was not interested. Just mean, negative comments for no reason *Hi Ken, thank you for your response. The man who checked me out was busy speaking with someone else. It was impossible for me to speak to him without causing a scene. My hubby and I had pedicures done. Obvious this was out of his comfort zone, but I dragged him a long. They put us in a back corner and made him feel very comfortable. I was very disappointed with my experience here. I got a pedicure and a full set acrylic. For my toes.. the guy going my pedi wasn't comprehending I wanted a gold color underneath the sheer gold sparkle polish I'd chosen. Then he was about to put a burnt orange color as a base before I stopped him and he just ended up doing multiple layers of the sheer gold sparkle which did not end up looking right. The girl who did my acrylic set seemed rushed and inexperienced. She globbed on the acrylic powder, wasting it when she wiped most of it off. Again an issue with wanting a base coat under a sheer glitter coat. I wanted black sparkles. She did not understand I wanted a black base and ended up doing three layers of the sheer sparkles which ended up making the nails look thick and gaudy. I will never go back here. Have not been here in a while cause manicures can get pretty pricey. Although after finding this place I refuse to go anywhere else so when I was ready I went here the other day. I decided to pamper myself and splurge and get a manicure only my nails came out looking like a dented car.. I got this metallic like silver color but it was painted all over my nails with circle dips that look like DENTS on a silver car! I was hesitant for a day or so whether to post this review or not because I didn't want to tarnish and otherwise good salon, but I feel after not going for several months the quality went downhill for what they charge. I don't know if it's because the technician was newer, or what, but this is not the quality I've received from them the other times in the past. Maybe I'll go back maybe I won't who knows. just a little pissed that I hadn't gotten my nails done in a long time and wanted to pamper myself so they could look good for the next couple weeks, and it turned out looking like a dented silver car! Also some nails he didn't paint all the way to edge so left with natural nail color. Very very cleanly and friendly place! They even let you keep the nail file, and buffer because they don't reuse them for sanitary issues! They also guarantee there are no chip for two weeks, and if it chips before then you can come back and they fix it no questions asked for free. I really love the design that ken did on my fingers. After a lot of research on Yelp I decided to give Ezzie nails and spa a try . I am so glad I did . The place is AMAZING !!! Everyone there is so welcoming and friendly. The spa is hip and clean. Tyler did my no chip nails to perfection . So did my pedicure lady. Sorry not sure of the spelling on her name. I felt right at home and they did a better job then my nail lady back in Vegas.
