My experience at this studio has great. Been going for about 3 months now. The studio size is decent. Machines and equipment are in great condition. The instructions are pleasant, accommodating and non-aggressive. There's variety in the type of classes offered. The only downside is that the classes fill up quickly so you have to reserve a spot far in advance. It's difficult to go to a class 'on-the-fly'. read more

Club Pilates is a reformer based workout that anyone can do. The instructors are highly trained and never just "phone it In." It is more fun than mat pilates and I have seen better results. I've been attending classes for 5 months now, and they are the highlight of my day! If you're a beginner, I highly recommend classes with Bridget. She's gives clear instructions, fun and very patient. Dawn is also wonderfully patient and offers kind feedback. The first few months can feel challenging as you're building muscles, adjusting to the moves, and getting used to different instructors. My advice is to stick with it; it's worth it! Initial Impressions (If you had asked me 2 weeks after starting) clean facility better than traditional gym - I enjoyed the ease of trusting instructors to lead the 'workout' vs. figuring out what to do at a gym, and having to wait around for weights/ machines Challenges I faced initially: Booking Classes: Classes book fast! During my first month, it was difficult to get into any classes because they were always fully booked, which was frustrating. Once you establish a routine, you'll be able to sign up ahead of time. People often drop classes, and you'll move off the waitlist. If your schedule is unpredictable or constantly changing, this could be a concern. Instructor Communication Styles: Initially, I struggled with the different communication styles of instructors. There were some instructors I didn't click with at first. Give all the instructors a chance. After 5 months, I can say they are all good, just with different methods for addressing corrections (e.g., sarcasm, whole group callouts etc.). Admittedly, this was difficult for me to overcome initially. There were some classes I left feeling unsuccessful, causing me to feel insecure the following classes and initiating a cycle were I was not preforming well and ultimately wanting to quit. Again, give them all a chance...even after a few weeks. You will get to know each instructor. You will grow in strength and ability, and through that gain confidence in your self and recognize that corrections (no matter the delivery) are meant to keep you safe and ultimately advance your skills. After 5 moths: I have gained muscle, feel healthier, and get better sleep Genuinely look forward to class read more

Overall a great workout. First time going to this type of class so wasn't sure what to expect. If you decide to enroll I would suggest to try the Level 1 classes with different instructors. It's a reformer class so you'll use it, but each instructor does the class a little differently. I'm sure you'll find one that fits your speed and can gel well with. read more

First class was awesome! My instructor was super sweet and helped me get back into the swing of things. I planned on the month unlimited and wanted to try a few more drop ins of other classes to get a better feel of the studio-- I'm glad I did because I saved so much money. My second instructor completely ruined Club Pilates for me, I think her name is Samantha. I'm not sure why she was so rude and off putting the entire class to everyone, not just to me but she seemed like she was annoyed with everyone the entire time. A few of us mouthed, "wow," or 'geez. after a few of her retorts on our form, etc. This isn't a ballerina class. I'm newly postpartum and slowly moving my body again. I'm all for some constructive criticism on form but straight up bullying I wont tolerate or give money too. Will have to try a few more studios I guess. read more

I just completed my first month with Club Pilates and I would recommend it to anyone! After taking the intro class, I was worried that it wouldn't be an effect workout because it felt "too easy" and that there wouldn't be enough classes available to fit in my day-to-day schedule. I'm so glad that I bit the bullet by investing in the unlimited class pass because I've overcome all my doubts. I've taken over 20 classes now and can share that none of the classes have been the same. The movements are low impact so you won't find yourself sweating (unless you're taking a cardio class); however, you are still engaging all your muscle groups. Pilates is a great exercise to tone the body but if you are looking to actively lose weight, you may need to incorporate a difference work out into your routine. All of the instructors are extremely friendly and helpful so don't let being a "beginner" intimidate you (coming from someone who has major gym anxiety). read more

My wife did a membership and after that they didn't have availability on the agreed time. After that it's been super hard to cancel it and they are saying we need to pay an extra $100 fee for cancelation. This is one of the worst places I have done business with. They have you join and say get on the waiting list and you will get in because people drop off. Well I tried four times on waiting list. And never got in and I'm in the easygoing classes. Then they have another free class so more people will join. It's a scam cuz you have to pay a certain amount for so long. But you can't get in but you've signed up and paid. I was so excited. Will not return calls or text messages. My membership should've been paused in April but they continued to charge me for 4 months until I eventually had to go to my bank to stop payment for additional months because no one will call or text back. I'm currently out of town so I do not have the option to stopping in the store to discuss the issue. When I established the membership, I told them I would be there for 2 weeks every few months and they said I can pause the membership between visits. On my last class, I told the front desk to pause the membership and it never happened and I continued to be charged until I went to my bank to block future payments. Total nightmare of a situation. I just want my hundreds of dollars back. Don't pay them with a debit card because you will not be able to dispute the charges in the event of an issue. read more

I just moved to the area and with this whole covid going on I needed a work out that wasn't being closed. They limited the people in the classes. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I've taken Pilates reformer before and knew I didn't need a intro class so they put me in the 1.5 and it was amazing. I joined the next day. I saw an ad for Club Pilates on Facebook and thought maybe I could do it. I've struggled for 3 years with degenerative arthritis in my left hip and spinal stenosis in my lower back. I was in so much pain I could not walk for any length of time. I started Pilates in December and even after my first class I felt better. Each class has improved my mobility. I rarely have any pain in my back and most days my hip is good. I am so thankful to all the instructors for working with me and encouraging me along the way. I'm hooked on Pilates for life!!! One year ago (7/24/2019) I signed a 3 month agreement with Club Pilates Goodyear (Cotton Lane) for Reformer pilates. However, I have osteoarthritis with severe back issues and it was difficult for me to get up and down off the machine. My physician advised me to stop the pilates. She wrote a note which I turned in to the management and wrote on the note that I wanted to terminate my subscription. I knew I had signed up for 3 months and would have to pay for those 3 months. Yesterday I realized that they have been charging me $159/month for a full year, even when they have been closed due to Covid 19. I have attempted to reconcile this with them to no avail. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS. The classes are good but the business practices are not. Be careful. read more
