Being the newest EOS in the area, this location is cleaner, fancier, and overall just better from a material standpoint. Unfortunately because this is the best location, everybody in a 20 mile radius wants to show up at the exact same time turning the parking lot, front entry, and weight room into a clusterf**k. Therefore, the best way to actually enjoy your workout is to show up just in that critical timeframe just after all the WFH people's lunch break ends and before the jocks get out of school. If you can get in this location outside of peak hours, everything is quite clean, somewhat spacious, and the staff are always friendly and outgoing (thanks Ian for the swag). My only issue with the Winchester location (really all EOS locations) is that when the gym is full of mouth-breathing muscle heads and climb-milling influencers, the air temperature gets out of hand. Please for the love of God crank the A/C and fans during peak hours. Sometimes this place gets hotboxed worse than several of the cars in the parking lot pre-workout and I mean with the smell of a$$ not weed...well maybe it's both. I went to the gym with a try us free that I signed up for a week of online. I immediately got a text from Sean, so I stopped in and saw him. BUYER BEWARE!! We sat at the desk he said that he could offer me $9.99 a month and a $1 fee. So instead of using the 7-day trial membership he convinced me to sign up for this plan that would save me money. I noticed a charge of $72.99 and I immediately texted them and said what is this for the fee should be $1... not $72.99. Oh no... that was in place of the $149 charge to sign up!! Huh? So, there is a THIRD CHARGE ? --- - Monthly - Signup Charge - Yearly Charge ==== Also, there isn't a printed contract onsite... they have a computer where the monitor is facing the sales rep... that he pulls up the signup website they use. Then he talks you through it all... all seems good to go... then when you call to say that isn't what you agreed to. Well, you signed it and that is how our contracts work. There are NO REFUNDS!! So, I have been a member less than a month... and I've cancelled and paid them what I did. I've been enjoying this gym. The equipment is well maintained, the facility is always clean, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. They always greet you when you come in and say goodbye when you leave, which is a nice touch. Like most gyms, it gets pretty busy during the week from 5-7 PM when people come back home from work, but that's expected and hasn't been a problem for me. When I tried to downgrade my membership, I was met with a wall of ridiculous rules and hidden policies. They just raised their rates gym wide to $30 for the membership that allows you to use the compression and cryo stuff. Powerhouse gym down the street is only $20. I'm updating my review for this EoS off Winchester to remove 1 star and write about my experience today trying to get a membership. I've BEEN coming to the EoS brand for the past 6 months w my family. Kids and husband have memberships here and I really like this one since they have the machines that I like, so I've decided to get my own membership. However, today's experience was not good. I came in thinking it'll take 15 minutes to get signed up, then I can have my 1.5 hours to workout. NOPE!! Instead, the sales rep was doing his very best trying to sell me what I did not ask for. I've sat through a whole hour of sales presentation of trying to sell me a personal trainer, nutritionist, gut health stuff, etc. I did not need a tour which he gave me anyway despite telling him I've BEEN coming to this one on the weekends and I'm familiar w it already. If I didn't like this gym I would've gotten up and walked away. The sales tactic is extreme poop and when a customer says they're not interested please stop and just give me my damn membership!!! I ended up getting my membership but left to go to Esporta, where I've been a member since 2012. And no, I'm not giving up my Esporta membership either bc I do like gym hopping at different gyms. Sales rep's are deceitful. DO NOT believe what they tell you when signing up for their programs. I was scammed. I added EoS to my active fit now account as a 2nd gym. I attend a fit camp as my primary gym and receive small group personal training there but wanted to add a 2nd gym for some low impact classes. I added EoS on Oct 1 and came into EoS to set my account up on 10/2. While setting up my app access with the sales rep, he asked what brought me here and I explained this to him. He then asked me what I do for recovery. I told him not much. He then said they have a recovery program that he'd have his manager, Sage, explain to me. He came over and said they have a really good program with massages/stretching that they currently have a 4 month special for $19. I agreed to try it out. I received the copy of the agreement 4 days later to my email, which is AFTER, their 3 days cancellation option which I believe was intentional so I could not cancel. The contract was NOT a recovery program, instead it stated (PT) and the $19 was for the first 2 weeks then it goes up to $92 every other week! When I spoke with Amnesty, the person they set my first session up is when I realized it is personal training, with some massage options of an oil massage, cupping, or a massage gun. In addition the massage is given in the open right next to their entrance. As a woman, I am not willing to take my clothes off and be on full display in front of the entire gym, so I could not use the cupping or oil massage options. I immediately emailed member services, as it states to do in the contract, explaining all of this and I was dismissed, saying to reach back out 60 days prior to the end of the contract to cancel. My complaint has been completely ignored. So now I am stuck with a $755 contract that I have no use for. A complete scam and horrible customer service. read more

After deciding to become more serious in my fitness journey, I decided to get a EOS fitness membership plus a trainer and I am thrilled that I made this decision. This is my 1st time working w/ a trainer and Karla Valero is absolutely phenomenal! She is so patient, kind, and encouraging (love her positive self-talks!) I appreciate how Karla gives me constructive feedback on how I can challenge myself during our workouts and on my posture/positioning. I love how Karla genuinely cares about your well-being and progress! For our most recent training session, I was very sore from work and I initially felt discouraged that my body was not in top shape for a workout. We ended up making it a recovery session where she focused on treating my sore areas and I felt so much better and refreshed afterwards. I feel all the more encouraged to listen to my body and continue to work on my progress because of Karla. All the personal trainers seem friendly and I am so happy that I'm training w/ Karla! :) I also appreciate how the gym staff are welcoming and friendly even when its super early or late at night. Plus the gym equipment and locker room/restrooms are always clean which is a big plus. read more

Location is clean, workers were friendly walking in on the ribbon cutting day, and I'm ready for my first workout here!! I'll update with more again later. Avoid doing the PT bc they will only cancel if they get time to review your account , even if it's after 30 days. Ive had multiple problems trying to cancel. They know people get busy and forget their subscriptions after they give you the run around waiting. and when you demand more answers they give you multiple people to contact but there's never a person in charge to make sure your cancellation goes through. But however, I am disappointed to learn there is no Swimming Pool, Jacuzzi, and kids center at this location but yet I don't know why there is are pictures of a swimming pool, jacuzzi, and kids center at the Winchester location page. When i tried to apply with this Eos fitness, they tried to recommend to me use Personal Train. But i told the guy who tried to told me go with personal train, but i told them i hadn't have time and I'm so lazy to do it, but he still tried to recommend with me even 3-4 times. This gym has been an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience. The cancellation process is far from easy or hassle-free--it's deliberately complicated and unresponsive. Trainers are allowed to cancel private sessions last-minute with no penalty, but if a member needs to reschedule or cancel, we're immediately charged. When we signed up, the sessions were presented as full one-hour personal training appointments. At $68 per session, that seemed fair--only to find out later they're just 30 minutes. That's misleading and unacceptable. When I attempted to cancel my membership, I encountered repeated system errors. I called corporate, only to be given the runaround. I called the gym multiple times ( and specifically asked for the manager by their name) and never received a single call back. By the time I finally got through and managed to submit my cancellation for personal training, it was processed so late that I'm now being charged for one additional payment I never agreed to. This level of disorganization and lack of accountability is exactly why I would strongly advise DO NOT SIGN UP HERE. It's spacious, clean, and typically not too crowded. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I've been training with Karla in particular for a short while and I love her !! I had signed up for an individual membership back in February. In March I decided to change my individual membership to a family membership. I did this before I was charged my individual membership annual fee and monthly fee in the total of 92 dollars . I was told that the system will cancel the 92 dollar fee and automatically charge my new plan of 142 . I was still charged the 92 dollars and spoke with someone the following day on April 1st . I was told that I will be refunded within a few days. 2 weeks have passed and I spoke with another associate and was told that it will another week since the only person that can take care of it is a district manager and they will send another email and " high priority " it . It's ridiculous how long this has been taking and there is no customer service number to contact anyone only the location . My Next step is report it to my bank . It seems like a lot of broken promises. It's not about the money it's about how I'm being taken care of . No follow up , no urgency to resolve my concern , nobody offered for me to talk to a manager . read more

Absolutely the WORST gym experience I've ever had. I've been to a lot of gyms in my life, but EoS takes the crown for being the most disorganized, poorly managed, and downright disrespectful to their members. Let's start with their so-called "management." Sage, the personal training manager, is impossible to get ahold of. I've called multiple times, left messages with the front desk, and still -- nothing. Either Sage doesn't exist or the front desk is playing a game of telephone and never passes on messages. Either way, it's ridiculous. I had training sessions booked and called to cancel within 24 hours -- as required -- yet I was STILL charged for them. When I asked for clarification about which sessions were used, no one could give me a straight answer. It's like they're just guessing or pulling numbers out of thin air. To make matters worse, I was dealing with a devastating personal emergency -- I had to put my dog down. I called the gym immediately and let them know I wouldn't make it to training the next morning. I was in tears. And what did they do? Charged me anyway. No compassion. No understanding. Just money-hungry and heartless. I even emailed the owner -- the SAME owner who loves to write back to people on Yelp to look good publicly -- and surprise surprise: I never heard a word. Not a single reply. This gym overcharged me, mismanaged my account, and now refuses to explain how and why some of my training credits disappeared. If you're considering signing up here, save yourself the frustration. The staff are friendly but this EOS is so small especially the stretching area. It's frustrating that the dance area is always locked and closed, no child care and I was told when I signed up they don't accept the AAA discount I'm supposed to get. Bummer. My wife and I visited this "new" facility about a month ago to try and sign up since it's less than a mile from our house but had a bad experience. There were at least 4 young staff at the front desk and thought it would be quick to get a tour of the facility. We were told to wait for one of the "coach" to give us the tour. There were no other new customers waiting and the rest of the people that were coming in were already members and have passes. I ask if one of the front desk staff can just give us a quick tour but was told no. We waited for at least 20 mins but after that long, I could not wait any longer specially when I saw a couple of the "coaches" who were supposed to be fitness expert looking like they've never step foot inside a gym. Both were overweight and looks like they spent more time at McDonalds than at the gym. Also, the 4 kids staff looks like they were more concern about looking good in front of the young members that are coming in instead of paying attention to their new customers. This place is not worth spending your money. The leadership is lacking since customer service is not a priority. Very disappointed. read more

I went to this location on a guest pass with my son. I spoke with Carlos and he showed me the 30 dollar a month program that looked good. I came in 2 days later with my wife to sign up and workout. Then I found out they have to have access to your checking account or they charge you 36 dollars. They also have a yearly fee of 59. That is 27% higher than the 30 dollar a month fee they advertise. I think they should just be upfront with what they charge. That didnt sit well with me so I just left. /Introduction I have not been a member of a gym for 5+ years, until I heard an EOS is opening in my neck of the woods so I decided to join. Overall I am happy with the facility however it is missing amenities that the other locations do have e.g., swimming pool, basket ball courts, etc. /Facilities I think the gym is great! I have not have much time in gyms to compare amenities so I do know the basics. Though the facility is missing some of the amenities mentioned in the introduction, it does have some interesting pieces of equipment. It has a row of AI-type weight machines. I have only tried this once, but it is interesting to me because it frames your focus on what's on the screen, almost akin to a game, where it gives a visual cue on the "depth" of the movement should end to get a good result when targeting said muscle group. The facility also has massage chairs, cryogenic chairs and a normatec recovery room. *Outside of the staffs control, but some gym members do not do the courteous task of wiping down or taking care of the items in the gym. Again that is no fault of the staff.. /Staff I think the staff is great! Five stars from me for sure. I would like to acknowledge the people I have had multiple interactions with during my gym sessions and I believe these people also help me to come back each time. Damian (Morning Manager) - I want to give big props to Damian for being so consistent. After our initial interaction, which I believe was working to resolve the issue with my first name on my account, he always sees me in the morning and calls me by name. Always welcoming and checking in on what I am working out that day. He has always been professional in our interactions. I see him manning the front, checking around the lockers making sure everything is good, spray bottle in hand making sure things are clean. I can't say enough good things; thanks brother. Miyuki (Trainer) - She conducted my initial Evolt scan. Miyuki was very easy to talk to and knowledgeable. This was evident because of her awesome physique; she took me around the gym and showed me the different areas that I could explore on my journey of being a healthier human. Callista gave me my initial tour of the facility when they first opened a few months ago. She has a positive energy and is super friendly every time I come in. Beautiful new gym, conveniently located in French Valley Marketplace. This gym has it all! Brand new machines and the latest tech helps guests achieve their fitness goals. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. They are knowledgeable of offerings and willing to assist. The workout floor is single story and contains ample natural light. There is a turf section, allowing members to conduct HIIT workouts, among others. The far wall of the facility includes a seemingly endless array of free weights and benches. The recovery room features cryo and massage chairs. Locker rooms are extremely clean and feature saunas and a plethora of showers and locker facilities. Guests will need to bring their own combination lock to use lockers within the locker room, though those off the lobby utilize smart combination technology. This gym also features a Moveos theater to make your workouts more entertaining. A plethora of equipment, classes, and amenities, make this gym an exceptional value.
