I joined in December 2025 after realizing I needed to make a real change for myself. Traditional gyms weren't cutting it for me. Since joining, I've learned so much about training and even more about diet and nutrition. I'm already feeling better and know this is just the beginning. So sad to leave this review for a place I loved for years. It's heartbreaking to see a strong community completely destroyed over the course of a few months (in the fall of 2025) by one of the owners' personal actions that carried into the business. If you value strong, steady leadership, certified coaches, and a healthy community, I'd choose another gym. The coaches and owners who held the community together are gone. Right now, I can't recommend CFIV--and leaving is one of the most disappointing decisions I've had to make. For a long time, this gym was a second home: coaches who cared, programming that made you better, and a culture where people were genuinely friends and supported each other. I recommended it without hesitation for years and felt proud to call it my home gym. Then everything changed--fast. What used to feel welcoming started to feel akward. Communication went from clear and respectful to vague, inconsistent, and often reactive. Policies seemed to shift depending on who you were, and concerns that members raised were brushed off or met with defensiveness instead of accountability. Dozens of longtime members left. Yet ownership tried to dismiss and downplay significant concerns. Marketing emails, texts, and social media posts being sent out right now pretend like there is a robust community at CFIV. Don't be fooled. There isn't. The large and tight-knit community no longer exists. The hardest part is that none of this felt unavoidable. It felt like the community was collateral damage. The drama seeped into day-to-day operations--impacting scheduling, coaching consistency, and how members were treated. The "we're all in this together" vibe that made this place special was gone almost overnight. I'm not writing this to be petty or to stir anything up. I'm writing it because I truly cared about this gym and the people in it, and I'm genuinely sad it came to this. If you're new to CrossFit and looking for a community , you wont find it here. Loved this Gym until they got rid of the Co Owner David who had poured his heart and soul into that gym and was in there day in and day out and truly cared for his clients. automatic charges will continue long after you leave. Josh's Lack of attention ends up costing you money. Unorganized and not well managed. Not worth it. The charges will keep on coming, even if you dispute because he has no idea of any timeline. So he will continue to charge. Desperate. When you want to sign up and go, you will get a call back right away. However, when you want to cancel, you will not get a call back at all. There will be no contact at all. Your charges will continue and will be difficult to end. Therefore, they can set the timeline to what they want because there has been no contact. No matter how many times you call and cancel or speak to him. Your membership will not be canceled and you will continue to be charged. The dispute with your credit card saying that you canceled your membership, that doesn't always work out. I don't know why there needs to be such games or that you would have to get in writing that you have canceled. Shouldn't have to be like that. Now there is no chance in hell I will ever return . Speak to anybody... when the topic of this gym comes up. the guys name is Josh and he boast how he has two gyms. Not honest. Avoid at all costs or you will pay through the nose. He will be out of business in a very short time. Can't continue in business if you are not honest! As for the location, it is very rundown and smells like sweat. Nobody shows up most of the time. It is obvious why. It is really like a bait and switch. I don't know why gyms like this exist? I am trying to do my best to help others from making the same mistake I made. I am a 53 year old male with multiple sclerosis. My main priority was to find an option where I could feel independence and some strength. I've been doing cross fit for one year now. My core is stronger and my chicken legs actually have some strength. Ryan (owner) is a cool dude. No pressure or egos. The staff and coaches always watch for proper form (I always look to find a way to cheat). The other members are friendly and encouraging. It's not an easy sport as cross fit makes you feel clumsy. I've been going to CFIV for over a year and a half. It's my first box, so I have nothing to compare it to but let me tell you it will certainly be the only box I ever stay a member with. Right away they took me under their wing. Their coaches are patient and always concerned with good technique and making sure you're getting the best possible experience and coaching out there. They offer many incentives for hard work and reward its members with gifts when you PR or are voted for athlete of the month. When I first walked into CrossFit I wasn't sure I would be able to do it. I talked with the owner, Justus and did a mini work out. I had never worked out in my life other than getting on a treadmill for an hour at a time. I am a type 2 diabetic and am overweight. Justus told me I could be free from these burdens and I would love the work outs. I laughed and thought, do I really want to pay this amount of money for working out?! The answer was yes and I could not be happier that I did it. As soon as I got to know the coaches, I quickly learned that this wasn't just another CrossFit box. I've heard stories about other places and found CFIV to be such an awesome family. The amount of encouragement I receive is insane! This box changed my life in so many ways! At first I signed up just to lose baby weight, but now it feels like home. They have recently expanded and added kettlebell classes in addition to regular WODs, open 6 days a week with tons of classes so there is always one that is convenient to attend. Also have a pro shop to buy clothing, snacks, supplements, etc, as well as a room for your kids while you workout. There are weight loss challenges, classes/lectures about nutrition, and social gatherings that make this box feel like a family instead of just a gym. By far the best box I've been to. The coaches are extremely knowledgable, and they stress technique over weight - making sure that you're executing the movements safely and correctly rather than trying to move too much weight. We even practiced the movement using PVC pipe before moving on to the prescribed exercise, allowing the coaches to monitor our technique and ensure we understood the safe and correct way to perform each movement. The other folks in the class were very friendly and were happy to see a new person in their class. The staff here fosters a family type environment, and there's even a nice area for kids of all ages to hang out while their parents get their workout in. I can't recommend it highly enough. I started going to this specific CrossFit gym on accident. I was intending to meet a friend at a different gym but got the locations mixed up, I ended up staying and did the workout. Right after the class I signed up! The atmosphere and the people are welcoming and inviting which is helpful because the workouts can be intimidating and challenging. The coaches have really taken the time to show me proper form and will even modify the workout if necessary. When I started a healthier lifestyle I first started to work out at home. After about 6 months I was sick and tired of listening to Tony Horton ( no offense Tony P90X is great but it's only good for 90 days;)). Now I started looking for a Gym that is going to challenge me. I found CFIV and I would not call it a gym. I call it a family that works out together, that watches your back, encourages you and knows you. It does not matter if you can bench press 300lbs or 30lbs you are part of the family and everybody cheers you on and helps you achieve whatever goals you have. I have heard great things about Crossfit; the results you are able to achieve, the support and community that you receive. This all sounded like something that would work great for me. I went to this location to check it out and hopefully sign up. When I got there, I was surprised at how un-welcoming and unfriendly everyone was. I asked questions to get a sense of how the program worked and wasn't able to get solid answers. I was told the owner would call me later to provide me with more information and schedule a personal workout to show me the process. I never heard from anyone. Based on my experience, for people like me that are out of shape and lack confidence in themselves, this gym did not appear to embrace, accept and uplift us. I wouldn't recommend it. read more

i've been with cfiv for almost 2 years now. in that time i have enjoyed every single class. also, the people (coaches and athletes) are great. there is never any drama nor egos in any of the classes and everyone is very supportive. even though my schedule only allows me to attend 1-2 times a week i have seen my strength and flexibility improve continually since i began. the workouts are certainly challenging and intense, but i find myself excited to attend and missing something if i can't make it. as a martial arts instructor i have found cfiv to be an excellent addition to my training and i would (and have) recommend them to anyone who is looking for a fun, awesome workout. read more
