My first experience with Boombox was when I had left my previous gym in 2016 as a newer level 1 coach and Eric was quick to welcome me to the Boombox family. It took one drop-in for me to know that BMBX was the right spot for me and to know I was in good hands. Eric and I have been homies ever since, and to this day I feel so welcomed every chance I get to drop in. My point is, if you're looking for a gym try this one. Owner Brian is really nice and welcomed me into the big open space, which is currently under construction, but coming along nicely. This facility is going to be amazing when they open up to the public. This gym is going to be LIT!! The restrooms will have shower stalls for men and women (2 each, 1 of which is ADA accessible). There are lockers for you to use while you're working out. They will offer personal training (both one-on-one and in small group settings). If you're looking for a new gym in the Temecula area, keep your eyes on Raw Fitness!! He greets you each time you're there and makes you feel like family. The classes are amazing! I love that each day of the week is scheduled and focused. The rotation of classes every month is a great way to see how you have gotten stronger. At the beginning I struggled to flip the tire, and now, at that station I can flip it 4 times. The instructors are all passionate and motivate you. They know when I should be lifting more and challenge me to do more. They have helped lift more and now I see I am stronger than what I think. It looks like they are starting to update their signs for the bathrooms to make them unisex. They also have a charging station for your heart rate monitor, which is a great use of their large lobby--plus you don't have to bother a staff member to help you with it. Unfortunately, you can't choose your station anymore when you check in, but I'm still a big fan of the studio.

I did like the vibe of the class although the instruction could of used a little more explaining as this was my first time attending an OT. THe class was about an hour long and it was broke up into a 3 part session of rowing, & free weight conditioning, & treadmill. The female instructor gave some input for motivation & the music was loud and encouraging! Overall, it was fun but could have been more organized at the front desk & communication about the class offering "FREE" to first timers... This part was untrue as I received an email that my daughter (the member) was charged for all those attending a cost of $12 each @ 12-15 people that did not live in the Temecula area. This was an out of town prewedding celebration event.... so that was a little discouraging. I don't believe I will be returning to an OT.
