He waited over 2 hours after he paid them... just for them to tell him they don't actually have the tire size and they wrote the wrong ones down. I had a very disappointing and upsetting experience at this tire shop on 540 E. Holt Ave. I've been here before, but this time I pulled in with a flat tire and two workers were there one seemed willing, but the other flat out refused to help. Instead of offering basic assistance like adding air so I could safely drive, they waved me off and made me leave with a completely flat tire. It was Labor Day, and I wasn't sure how close another shop was, but I ended up having to drive 3-4 miles to find help. What made it worse was how rude they were. If the shop wasn't open, they should have closed the gate not stand there and dismiss people who clearly need help. I truly feel the way I was treated had to do with discrimination, because I believe they would have treated me differently if I were Hispanic. Their attitude and lack of basic courtesy made me feel disrespected and unsafe. I will never return to this shop, and I do not recommend it to anyone. read more

I had the misfortune of catching the world's largest nail in my tire. Fortunately, I was one block away from F&H I drove slowly through a parking lot to get as close to F&H as possible, but was still across the street in a parking lot. I walked over to the business and told the delightful young lady at the counter my problem. As soon as the first guy was available, he rolled a jack over to my car across the street removed the tire and rolled it back to the shop. They did not have an exact match however I gave a small deposit. They installed a used tire while they ordered the exact match. My wife went back the next day and they installed the new tire. She was treated to excellent customer service. Everyone I came in contact with was absolutely fantastic. I have found my new tire spot. read more

I was there last weekend and I wanted to but 3 tire because I had bought one from them already and wanted to match the rest. They told me to come in next Saturday and they would have them. Well I went to them at the designated day and they were incompetent and didn't help me at all. Their workers were eating burgers while I was getting no help. I was fortunate to be gifted a Uncle's truck whom passed away. Realized it had oversized, mismatched tires on it causing all kinds of ABS and Trans Codes. Decided to get all new matching correct size tires. Well so I thought, had one lug nut that kept spinning, refused to come off. My sister was in a car accident and we brought her car here based on a referral from a family member. Though they did do a good job on her car and completed the work quickly, they communicated with us very poorly. We spoke with them regarding pickup and were informed that they accept card and cash. We were driving from over an hour away on a Sunday, and upon arrival, were asked to pay in cash. When we declined, we were told there would be a 3% fee to use a Debit card which equated to $50. I've never once in my life had to pay a fee to use a debit card! I tried to ask to speak to the owner after the receptionist had just spoke with him over the phone and was told that was not possible. We tried to extract money from the bank but the banks are closed on Sundays and we were getting an error on the ATM. Had we known sooner, we would have brought cash. We paid reluctantly as we are tight on money being that we are still students. I'm extremely disappointed in the lack of communication and the push back we got when we requested to speak to the owner. What a poor business practice. read more

My mechanic recommended F&H Tire to me for an alignment because I have an oversized utility working truck. I swung in today and met George. The tire shop was busy but he got me right in for service. Once the alignment was completed I asked if he could replace my balding tire with the spare. To my surprise George's employees changed my tire, took it off the spare black rim and mounted and balanced it on the nicer alloyed rim. I was not expecting that kind of service. If I could give zero stars I would. Service is horrible. They don't torque tires down. It's just zip it on with an impact wrench. The spilled the equalizer sand on the ground from my tires and swept everything up in the ground and put it back in my tire. Dirt, rubber particles metal filings and all. They didn't seat my tire right and I had to get horrible service a second time and then I got attitude from the overweight owner like I caused my tire to loose air on purpose. When I asked for new sand in my tire he was condescending and asked if I could afford a new pack of sand for my tire. Don't go there. They have untrained tire changers and horrible service. They will mess up your vehicle or make it worse than it was before. read more
