I went to F45 because I have a few friends that went in other states to train for the Hyrox. I saw F45 on classpass and I booked it earlier for 630pm on Wednesday. I arrived at 615pm and I was greeted by T who was going to be our trainer for the workout. He checked me in and then told me that I would have to pay for the class because they no longer accept classpass. I explained that if I was able to book on classpass earlier that day and I didn't receive any notice that I couldn't book I should be able to workout. He stated that he would talk with someone to confirm. T came back and stated that it was fine for me to workout but in the future to book on their website. So he explained all the stations to me and we got started. It was a great workout with some stations mimicking the Hyrox completion. There were 10 stations and we had 3 rounds at each station. When we finished, I thought we were going to do some sort of stretch but people just started to leave so I knew we were done. Overall I'm not sure if I'll be back but I'm glad I had the opportunity to try it out. read more

F45 is everything you'd come to expect from full body and mind fitness. Think of having a personal trainer in a fun and effective group circuit workout. You're in and out in 45 minutes and the workouts are never the same. Trainers are present to assure you're hitting your goals and assuring correct form and posture. The transformations that I've seen in the short time there are impressive. It's worth a try if you haven't already. read more

This gym is located in a small shopping center in Aventura. Parking is available all around the mall. Get there a little earlier your first time since there are a lot of suites and you may need to walk around to find the gym. I tried their noon class and it was a good workout. The trainer was helpful, checking everyone was doing the right moves. Every movement is shown on the screen so really easy to follow along. I asked about going to their other locations but it sounds like each one has their own rules and guidelines. They recommended downloading the app which I still have to do but I was able to reserve classes using ClassPass. read more

This is my place of zen... F45 has become part of my everyday routine and gets my days started on the right track. It has not only changed my lifestyle but has also become my community with amazing people! The energy is fantastic everytime specially at the 6am class. The vibe is electric and contagious, and it makes you keep going no matter if you are tired. The trainers keep it going motivating you to crush the next station/set, and the Playlist is always on . The system works .... it takes the guesswork out of your workout , all you have to do is show up and give it your best. You will walk away feeling like a million bucks. Disappointed with My Experience at F45 Aventura. I had high hopes but unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. While the concept of high-intensity group training is great, the execution at this location left a lot to be desired. Firstly the customer service was lacking. When I had questions about membership options and cancellations, I found the staff to be unhelpful and at times dismissive. I was also frustrated with the cancellation policy, which felt overly restrictive and unclear when I first signed up. Moreover the music is obnoxiously loud and the owner May is very very rude and disrespectful especially certain comments she makes towards individuals at her facility who do not agree with her. Lastly as a warning to anyone planning on joining this location beware of her. read more

Concept and workouts are great however, be very mindful that before you decide to patronize this specific location that they pick and choose who their rules apply to. This is my second bad experience with the owner, May C. When I signed up in July '23, I explained my situation, that I am a current member where I live in Europe and that I visit here frequently. May kindly gave me a free trial offer and then a promo code to use for 30% off any other time I visit. In December I came again and took a 14 day package. 2 days were public holidays so I asked if it could roll over since the gym was closed and so I wouldn't have to pay around $50 for the last 2 days I was in town. I would have been fine with a "No" but I was met with a super defensive answer, May telling me that she had "done me favors", acting as if I was somehow taking advantage... that if she offered me the two days that she would "lose money" and how she "bent over backwards for me answering my calls" (??) She also told me that the promo code was for 1x a year which is a flat out lie, and I have her messages to prove it. She seems to pick and chooses how she applies her rules. She also made a weird comment about religious Jewish members, assuming I was also Jewish. It was a very unexpected and off-putting interaction. She made me out to be someone who takes advantage when I only went by HER process. Ridiculous. The gym is not very clean, and even when you notify staff, they don't seem to care. Although the staff is nice, they are never the same when I come to visit, and the music is always insanely loud. I mean pounding in your chest, ears hurt almost to the point of bleeding after class loud. Cut to my experience on August 13th, which really crossed a line. I forgot my ear plugs that I usually bring. That morning May was there and the music was even louder that the usual obnoxious level. I asked another trainer to please lower the volume. I also asked the people in my pod if the music is ever at a more reasonable level and they all reply the same: that they've complained many times, but May likes it loud and so it stays. I asked the trainer who understood my concern and he lowered the volume, only to come back a few seconds later apologizing that "he tried but May put it right back up". I then politely went to her to ask why it wasn't possible to just lower the volume a tiny bit and she got super defensive and aggressive again. She said, "we are known for being loud, and if I hear people grunt then it's a problem". I told her that I can't even hear her speaking to me and that I know it's loud- which is why I bring earplugs but today I forgot them and if she could just lower it a tiny bit, I don't see why it's such an issue. She rudely walked away to continue her own workout and turned the volume up even LOUDER! I was 5 minutes into the training and I just walked out. So unbelievably rude. There are people that are sensitive to higher levels of noise, that could be neurodivergent, or have other personal reasons which make training in such an environment feel hostile and even painful. I definitely felt like my concerns didn't matter at all. That even telling her my ears were hurting, it didn't matter. It was a very awful feeling. I've had only great experiences training at other locations and have been coming to F45 consistently 5-6x a week for almost 3 years. This is by far the worst experience I've ever had at a gym let alone at an F45 franchise. Shameful! Seeing other similar reviews online I can only imagine she will try to deflect and blame the client all she can- make up whatever stories in order to avoid any real, actual feedback. Some of your other clients don't like the noise level either, just ask them, like I did! Turning the music to loud instead of unbearable is not such a crazy demand. I have done absolutely nothing wrong yet am made to feel like I have-- just for saying anything at all. I come 15 minutes early to stretch every day, I am clean, keep to myself, I am friendly with fellow members, bring my own towel, sign up and check in on time. There is no reason to treat people so poorly. I came back the same day for the midday class, equipped with earplugs and headphones, which still didn't do much to block out the blaring music, but at least I got my workout in. The following morning was the same. However, on my way to my car, another member who witnessed the whole debacle the day before, stopped me to let me know that May was gesturing to other members and staff that I had on headphones. To make fun of me? or to boast about her amazing achievement to make someone so uncomfortable that they need to come THAT prepared in order to enjoy their workout. How childish and completely unnecessary. What ways to make your members feel welcome. It is also unprofessional to speak badly about your members in front of clients so casually. She makes no effort to make these conversations private, I've heard her sharing her opinions about others too many times to count. This is someone who clearly lets ego get in the way of rational thinking and behavior. read more

Got lied to and scammed. If you don't intend to be tied indefinitely to them financially after you cancel don't make the mistake of giving them your credit card information. I went on the third week of August with the $24.99 7 day pass. Towards the end of the pass one of the trainers sat with me and told me about all the different plans they have. She showed me their monthly plan and their 3 and 6 month plan. Then she goes on to say "You know, usually people think the 3 and 6 month plans are these amounts charged monthly. It's not, it's that one payment for the whole period." And of course I have NEVER SEEN A GYM DO THAT. So I triple check with her "Really?? Are you sure? that's what I thought too, that it was a monthly fee." This scammy gym purposefully doesn't list their prices ANYWHERE online. I asked her for a price sheet and she said she only had a sheet on her phone with prices and plans that only they have access too. I stupidly chose to believe her and signed up for the 3 moth plan - I know I'm a dumbass, lesson learned. I'm getting ready to go to my 8th class and after booking it on the app I see my new plan says the charge is monthly. So my heart drops because it is a lot of money that as a college student and family caregiver I simply cannot afford. I take my 8th class and then stay later to ask the trainer about why it says monthly - she goes "Oops my bad, you'll actually get charged monthly". That's when I immediately asked to cancel the membership. I had taken an extra class from the 7 day pass so I decided to pay them $24.99 for that single class and get the hell out of the membership she had roped me into. She, for some reason, doesn't have access to the system so needs to bring someone else to issue me a refund. This other person issues me a refund for the membership I had been charged for that week and says my membership has been cancelled. Little did I know I had been lied to yet again and that exactly one month later I would be charged another $179 after not having set foot in that gym again. After walking in and requesting a refund and proof of the August cancellation, spamming their email, and getting immediate voice mail through their location's phone number, they have issued another refund for this new charge but continue to ignore my requests for any proof that the membership was actually cancelled in August. The amount of time, gas, and energy I've wasted on dealing with this scam has been more than enough to have learned my lesson. But I wish I had been warned before getting involved with them, so here's your warning. If you don't intend to cancel, then it's a great gym. read more
