There's so much to love about F45 Midtown. From Coach Elizabeth's infectious smile when she greets you early in the morning (5:30 am is not joke) to Coach Mark, Coach Ausaru & Coach Hunter constantly pushing me to lift more and get my reps in! They all are there to even give me some alternative moves when there is one my body says 'Nope' to. They just won't let you quit. Even more is the community that F45 Midtown provides. It's not just the coaches that are pushing you but the other members as well. Everyone is your biggest cheerleader and gives you the "can do" attitude. There are specific cardio, resistance and hybrid workouts that fit everyone's needs, along with a variety of times to fit into your schedule. If you're looking for a fun, but challenging workout, look no further than F45 Midtown.

I have been going to F45 for 4 months now, and in that time, I am already seeing incredible results. The workouts are fun and challenging, but most importantly, only 45 minutes long. I have a very busy work schedule, so this is something I can fit into my calendar and stick to. I also love that there are so many class times and they are consistent! Even if I miss my usual 7:30 morning class, I can still make a 5:30 in the evening. The trainers are all kind and knowledgeable. They always remember your name and pay special attention to your form to prevent injuries. My partner has a knee injury and Ikea went out of her way to teach him new stretches and exercises to help him heal. It's on the pricier side for a gym, but it's so much more than that and worth every penny in my opinion. Think about how much you spend on eating out or meeting friends for drinks each month and ask yourself: how much is your health worth?

Amazing high intensity workouts and festivities during Pride Month!

This location of F45 is out of this world! The workouts are amazing. You are challenged with something new every day and the Sacramento Midtown community keeps you accountable for your efforts. But the coaches is what really makes this place special. The team here, from Coach Mark to Coach Ikea to Coach Jason, they are amazing. They genuinely care about you and your goals. The team of coaches are unbelievable.. they bring the energy, they motivate, push, guide and support you. I can't imagine going anywhere else! Keep up the great work F45 Sacramento Midtown!

This is the BEST gym in Sacramento, hands down. It's only 45 mins and you get so much done. The music is always the best and energy is always great. The coaches actually engage and push you, which can't be said for other circuit training gyms in the area. The workout structure is consistent and the gym is very well maintained and organized. If you get the chance, take a class with Coach Hunter or Coach Mark, you won't be disappointed! Tank tops are always encouraged ;)

I've been going to F45 for over a year and a half. I've tried different gyms throughout Sacramento, but F45 is my favorite. Mark is the gym manager and is always open and helpful if you have any questions. He's also a beast and will jump into the workouts with you! Coach Asura and Jason will motivate you and correct your form. Ikea and Elizabeth are fantastic on the weekends and mornings. Some say that F45 is expensive, but can you put a price on your health and well-being? My mental and physical health has improved since I started F45. I would highly recommend the gym to anyway looking for a gym home!

I moved here a little over a year ago where I was a member in Queen Anne Seattle which created my appreciation for this community and brand. But when I came here to Midtown, things felt a bit different where all the trainers and members were highly invested into participating which became infectious. Rather than feel like work, it was actually fun to come into this studio and work with the trainers and members to motivate us through the workout while having a good time and encouraging each other through the challenging portions. I travel quite a bit but I joke with our trainers here that they have me hooked because I often will travel and pay drop in fees to make sure I stick to the program rather than miss days in my cycle. Working remotely, I often look forward to seeing familiar faces and watching their own journey and transition as if we are all doing this together and sharing a fun conversation before or after the workout. I'll often see Mark and Ausaru where this duo helps me the most in the afternoons to make sure I'm getting the most out of my workouts while offering a ton of encouragement and laughs along the way. That being said, I can't just single out the trainers because each and every trainer is special in their own way while all being similar in the sense that they are really positive, encouraging, knowledgeable and personable to each of the members. This creates an environment where it bleeds into great members and I'm proud to be part of this community. As said earlier, I travel where I've visited about 15 different studios but this one is very special to me in a profound way. If thinking about finding a fitness studio with a great community and great trainers (and the best hype music playlists BTW), look no further, you're home.

Mark and Ausaru were the first coaches I met and they both did a great job in making me feel welcomed/comfortable.

I liked him and the sessions he put me through, although he cancelled several at the last minute. In late December, I agreed to prepay him for twice a week for the month of January. He cancelled the first session and then failed to show up at the second. After he failed to show up, I received an email from him telling me that he was leaving the area for a week or two for personal reasons, and he would contact me to reschedule when he got back. That was eight weeks ago, and I have heard nothing from him since, even though I made repeated efforts to contact him. I now realize I am out over $500 for sessions I prepaid that I will probably never receive. It has been a major disappointment.

After a few sessions with Mike (couple's sessions specifically) I was already noticing muscles being worked that I had never worked before. Workouts were tough, but never too much for us to handle. He pushes you, motivates you, and definitely keeps it interesting. He fits a ton of different exercises into a 45 minute session. Our busy schedule required a 'before work' session and it has done wonders for my energy and alertness throughout the day. The two day a week training sessions along with his comprehensive diet goals really helped me to lose the weight I set out to lose. After 2 months I had lost 20 pounds. After 3 months of training with Mike, I feel noticeably stronger, healthier and happier. He's made a believer out of me and I can't recommend him enough!

When I first walked in, I immediately noticed all of the natural light coming into the room. It really added to the outdoorsy ambiance. The employee at the front desk was super friendly and was quick to get me set up. As for equipment, grabbing shoes was easy (pulled them out of the storage cubes to the left of the front desk), and they provided a harness as well. I'm not sure if the staff normally does the walkthrough on tying a proper knot, since my friend and his friend did it for me. Nonetheless, I do like that they have that area separate from the main climbing area. Helps to take the pressure off a little bit if you're new. There seemed to be dozens of different climbing paths to choose from, with signs at the bottom indicating the level of difficulty. I found that particularly helpful since, as a newbie, everything looked hard. Also, the people I observed and interacted with on the floor were extremely friendly. Really great vibes coming from the community here. The pricing, based on information from my friend, seemed reasonable, since it included the gym and classes. However, I live in Elk Grove, so I probably will stick to visiting this place only now and then. Recommend giving it a try, though!

But after a couple months of the new ownership, Joe just became erratic. I have no issue with his religious stance but honestly I don't think bible verses and crosses belong in the gym. It makes people who aren't of that faith feel excluded and uncomfortable. Also, the crosses are made out of duct tape fyi. Plus his Instagram videos are so off putting. Lots of swearing and drinking, you really get a good glimpse of what this guy is like. He even went so far to stroke his ego to try and make a movie about himself. He could have definitely used that money instead to purchase new equipment for the gym. The poor gym has outdated equipment from the early 2000's, but don't fret he also installed a boxing arcade game that's not even plugged in and has no business being in a gym. The seats on some of the equipment are completely ripped through and he just put duct tape over it like a bandaid. He gets super defensive of anyone that makes complaints to the point where he's just trying to come off intimidating. The bathrooms are so sick. They are RARELY cleaned and always lacking products (toilet paper, soap, toilet seat covers). The smell is so unbearable and the trash is never taken out. I eventually had to cancel my membership, but he makes it near impossible. You can only cancel it through him and he will make sure not to return your calls, texts, or emails and by the time he does he'll make you pay for one more additional month before "cancelling". I suggest for anyone trying to cancel, once he "allows " you to cancel, make sure to call your card company and have the payments stopped from being charged. Because what he is notoriously known for is continuing to charge ex-members since he never gets rid of your card information. This business isn't even BBB verified because they don't respond to complaints. He also has people writing fake reviews on yelp with 5 stars and coincidentally there's no detailed information about the gym lol. I eventually left because this place was stressing me out and I couldn't continue coming to a gym where I felt unwanted and under appreciated. Also, this gym used to cost $50 a month and recently when I looked at the new prices I COULD NOT believe that it is now $100 per month. And for what? Outdated equipment, a lack of proper cleaning practices, and the trauma from having to deal with Joe's shady business practices.

First and foremost, Kristin is a wonderful trainer. She is kind yet assertive, friendly yet disciplined. She's a great motivator and I always leave class exhausted. Each workout is unique and challenging. Even more importantly, Kristin is a fantastic person. I've run the gauntlet of the "hard-nosed" trainer to the "here's the workout, you do it" type of trainer, and Kristin falls right in the sweet spot. She is approachable and outgoing, yet she makes sure that you work hard. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Kristin to anyone looking for a good kick in the rear to start your workout journey.
