I took my free class with Coach Shay, and she was absolutely amazing, so welcoming and supportive, and she guided me through everything. I then tried the 1-week trial, and I just knew this was the place for me. From day one, I felt comfortable and encouraged. The coaches truly care and take the time to make sure you feel confident and motivated, always there to answer any questions or concerns you have along the way. I recently completed my one year with HIIT It and I feel stronger than ever and can really see the changes in my body. You will find all fitness levels here, beginners, intermediate, and advanced, and every workout can be modified to fit your ability, which makes a huge difference. This place is truly the best. It's not just a gym, it's a supportive, welcoming community where you can grow, feel challenged, and actually enjoy the process.

HIIT It is located in a little plaza that has good amount of parking. It is a relatively new place with the 1 year anniversary coming up when I visited. All 3 days I came here, Shaylynn was the instructor, and she is one of the owners as well. Your first session you have to come 20 minutes early to go over the process and some equipment they have. Everything is pretty standard except the Ancore system and the ropes they use. The ropes are different as it's more in the wrist. Didn't use them in any of the workouts but I did a quick try and it was interesting. The Ancore is a pulley weight system that is easy to use. Make sure you bring your own towel or they do charge for one. The classes itself I have to judge in two ways. For beginners/older people who want a little less cardio and more focus on slow movements, HIIT It is perfect. You have 5 stations with two exercises at each station. You do 45 second rounds three times at each station. Unlike other places, they focus more on slow, controlled movements throughout the round rather than as many rep as possible. For more advanced people, this allows you to focus on a little heavier weights to challenge yourself. The main reason I knock it down 1 star is that for intermediate to advanced, it is a bit slow. My heart rate is about 10bpm less for the average throughout the entire workout and I barely break a sweat. The hardest day was for me the lower body day as there was a bit more cardio in there. I did like that the pace allowed me to go a bit heavier and focus on the muscle in each exercise though. Overall, I think HIIT It is a good gym, particularly for people looking for a little less intimidating class. Shaylynn did an excellent job motivating, correcting form, and challenging people throughout the workout. To me, it looked like they were building a good community too based on the member's interactions with each other. Plus for their anniversary party, 60 people reserved to go, so that says something about the community they are building. I will be back on days where I want to change my usual pace and will add it to my rotation of gyms.

It was exactly the push I needed (thank you Michelle and Tobias), and I signed up the same day (with zero pressure from anyone). Thank you Eric for answering ALL of my questions about membership and for being a welcoming presence while I nervously walked into a gym for the first time in years. What makes Ark Fit different is the people. The trainers don't just run a class, they bring the energy. They correct your form so you get better and stronger, and if something feels too hard, they'll modify it so you can keep moving. Every trainer has been warm, encouraging, and truly meets you where you're at. The members are all ages, and fitness levels, which makes the space feel welcoming and inclusive instead of intimidating. Plus everyone I've met has been kind and encouraging giving high 5's or a word of encouragement between workouts. This might sound like a paid ad lol it's not, Ark Fit sells itself. It was a "Strength" class with Joey and we were working on our upper body for the day. As with all first times visiting a studio, I arrived 10-15 minute early to sign waivers and settle in. Liz at front desk was super friendly and helpful. This studio is very thoughtful and well equipped. In the lobby there are lockers with a number pad for you to set your number code and merchandise for sale. As I entered the studio area, there is a water fountain for you to refill your water bottle. They have plenty of equipment and stations, so you don't need to bring anything. Just wear some comfortable workout clothes and tennis shoes. The work out area has many screens for information. I appreciate the visuals! Before class started, Joey came around to greet everyone. For the first timers to this studio, he asked about our injuries or areas of concerns. For the day of my class we had a warmup, 6 different stations, and a stretch/warmdown. Station 1: Seated Tricep Extensions Station 2: Kettlebell Bent Over Row Alternative Station 3: Military Press Station 4: Bench Press Narrow Grip Station 5: Floor Press Station 6: Incline Row The screens had visuals and helped us keep track of which rep we are on. Joey came around to check on our form and provided feedback so we could make the most out of our work out. I really liked how encouraging and motivational Joey was. An instructor with good energy like Joey is so important for my mental state during work outs. I really felt like I was being my best self during this work out. These classes change up every week and it'll be different each time you come. I only mentioned the above as an example. I really like changing things up from my usual work out because it really challenged my body to do better. Looking forward to trying more of the classes here at BFT. I really like the heart rate monitors that make each workout a game and help me stay on track of how hard I'm working in each exercise. I love the variety of the workouts that keep things fresh and interesting so I stay motivated, but consistent enough that I see actual results. The mix of strength, cardio, powerlifting, endurance, and stretching means that every week I get well rounded workouts and don't burn out doing too much of any one thing. Definitely the best classes style gym I've ever been to.

I've felt my range of mobility has greatly improved and I'm getting faster and stronger. Coaches are very friendly and will show you how to do the proper form and movements for both the workout session. Best of both worlds between HITT workouts and kickboxing. Coach Danny has real life fighting experience & it's been fun learning techniques in a NON-intimidating way. The regular gym attendees are very friendly and it's a family friendly atmosphere. Watching Senior aged women and men hitting combos and speedbags, shuffle step on jump ropes has been a big motivator for me to keep pushing. Light sparing Fridays are a blast to watch. As someone who's been intimidated by workout classes & have tried a wide variety from Orange Theory & F45. I truly enjoyed this class and you should make it a part of your workout routine.
