Kandis J.

I stumbled across this fitness center via Facebook. They were offering a grand opening special of two free weeks with no stings attached. So of course I gave it a shot because after taking a break from the gym I needed something to jump start my lifestyle again. During my two weeks I had the pleasure to train along side Ms. Jackie and Brooke. They were very sweet and helpful while going through the sessions. Each session is different. The workouts are in circuit intervals. The great thing about this is that you'll be working various muscles and in the moment you might not feel it. However by half way in you can surely feel the burn! The upside to the circuits are the video monitoring that you can find on the walls that shows you what you are supposed to be doing. Although the downside in my opinion is that the sessions do not offer a cool down. Which I think is very beneficial. The trainers do say to stretch afterwards , however, they do not do it with you and neither does the program. F45 reminds me of cross fit a little. The only difference is you're really following a video guide and the trainers are there to help and assist. So you kinda can do many of circuits at home. The upside to doing it there are seeing and watching others around you along with the hands on verbal support. Although I opted out of continuing the program I truly enjoyed my 2 week free trial and I recommend it to anyone trying to jump start their fitness lifestyle.

Proof of the unprofessional reply that I received from the same managerial assume who was rude to me over the phone.

It's the type of class that I really enjoy (HIIT) and pushes you to do one more rep than you thought you could.

I'd describe Barry's as a boutique fitness studio that offers a great workout with energetic and motivating instructors with fun curated playlists. Barry's follows a cadence for muscle group focus that I appreciate. There is also a fuel bar that serves nutritious and yummy smoothies. I find Barry's a fun way to get in movement and adds to my workout routine.

Riti was our instructor for RUN X FULL BODY & she kept the upbeat vibes the entire time! It was honestly impressive & equally shocking how amazing her classroom management was haha but she kept us motivated for the whole 50 minutes. There were various sets where half the class was on the treadmill and the other half on the floor. The treadmillers were jogging, sprinting, & everything in between. The floor people were doing a lot of squats, bodyweight & weight lifting exercises. Then every few minutes the people on the treadmill would switch to the floor and vice versa. You really have to listen carefully and pay attention while the instructor is moving around shouting out what you're supposed to do. Parking is in a lot or on the street, both requires payment. There are lockers to store your belongings as well as showers in the bathrooms. They provide towels at eac station for the class as well. You be assigned a number for the treadmill & the floor section. This is definitely not meant for someone who gets overstimulated easily but if you like chaotic exercise classes, I highly recommend. Try it out at least once, you won't regret it!

I love that ClassPass has allowed me to explore yet another gym. But, there were logistics…read moreinvolved. First, you have to get to the Greenway plaza parking garage and enter via the visitor parking entrance for 4-6 Greenway Plaza garage from the 59 feeder road. Once inside the garage, follow the signs for 5 Greenway plaza. It should be the blue colored parking area. There's a pretty big sign that says visitor parking. Then, look for the entrance that says 5 Greenway Plaza. Enter and pass the flower shop on the left, and Pulse fitness is right there. The front desk can validate your parking right away, which was awesome. The outside sitting area before entering this gym was so pretty and filled with bright natural light. If you go here earlier in the day, you can sit in this area and just relax. I heard some food vendors are also open earlier in the day. Inside, this gym was nice. Let me say this again, it's very nice. Like everything was new: their cardio equipment, weights, machines, kettlebells, stability balls, medicine balls, and probably all their other equipment. Their restrooms were clean, and even had a nice sitting area. They had lockers with 3 digit dial codes to secure your belongings. They have nice showers. They have clean towels on every cardio station and on more shelves. They have a filtered water station. I mean, what more could you want? I do have to mention that they don't have your typical weight machines. They have weights but with resistance cords to them. You can feel the weight both going away from and towards starting position. It just takes a bit of getting used to. Leaving the garage is simple. Follow the sign to exit for southwest freeway (Highway 59), and you're good to go. Next time, I will have to inquire about their HIIT classes. So, I will definitely be back.

We are a retired, long-married couple who joined LifeTime Fitness four years ago. We joined after…read moreour son, a long-time member of the Life-Time Fitness Signature River North Club in Chicago urged us to check it out after another national chain where we worked out suddenly was unable to keep its swimming pools and locker/shower rooms operational (and clean) and the workout machines in repair. LTF had bought out the previous operator, City Club, and invested millions in renovating and updating the facility. We met at and continued, as a couple to gravitat to large health clubs in different cities where we worked and lived for over fifty years. During the tour, where we were shown the various centers for weight training, the outdoor swimming complex, yoga studios, Pilates studio, ballet barre, a full service cafe and a very impressive spa/salon, and recovery room, I commented, "Goodness, I could live here very happily." We both have been very pleased with our experience there and feel that it is well what we pay for our membership. We travel a lot and have visited LTF clubs in different cities and have been pleased by the consistency of the programs, facilities and maintenance of a clean and functional facilitiy. We are usually there, working at maintaining our heath, both mental and physical a minimum of five days each week. But, I am writing this hot mid-July Sunday in 2026, to give two thumbs up to the entire LTF staff and management for the annual extravaganza, Poolchella, that was held over most of two days on two successive weekends bracketing our nation's 250th 4th of July celebration. It is one of the regularly scheduled music and dance events offered across the year on weekend days or weekend evenings described as adult get-togethers. That part I guess, is true but incomplete. The club's bar had two or three men and women constantly assembling cocktails and other libations, sandwiches, plates and snacks which were delivered to the many people out on the expansive, pool deck that has a variety of green and flowering plants. A succession of DJ's laid down very nicely synched non-stop pop and rock music tracks. The music drew me outside where I completed over 20 one/fifth of a mile circumnavigations of the pools where I ambled along at about 4.2mph movin' 'n groovin' to the 125 bpm beat the male and female MCs were laying down for well over an hour. It was hotter than hell under the sun in H-Town. I didn't care. I hydrated and took breaks to assess my well-being before picking up the pace over and over again. The LTF club leadership, GM Randy Doty and Club Membership Concierge Desiree Cortez, also provided floaty toys and a bounce pit and a variety of other kiddie attractions to enable entire young families to have a great holiday memory. And, therein lies the reason why this particular "urban country club" is so popular. The club offerings--from traditional solo weigh lifting to yoga, dance, Tai-Chi, strength, Pilates, cycling, swimming and group fitness classes welcomes not only the traditional gym rats and a surprising number of former college and professional athletes. They also offer a rich mix of classes that are directed to people like ourselves (AKA Aroras) who have made it to age 55 and beyond and understand that muscles do not age out as long as they are regularly and responsibly exercised. We routinely take classes with men and women who are well into their 70's, 80's and 90's and are still at it. But, LTF also has a very impressive kiddie care facility, so mom's and dad's can take advantage of the Club's classes, very clean family changing, showering locker room, use the cafe or the assigned out-of-the-office work area and get a mani-pedi, massage, assisted stretching session or work out with one of the many personal trainers, confident that their babies and toddlers and little kids are kept busy, clean and safe. For my wife and me, the Greenway Club is a central part of our Houston retirement. We enjoy the tri-part goals of LTF Arora--"Healthy. Active. Social." Bravo Randy, Desiree and the terrific crews!!

Obviously the monthly fee isn't cheap but it usually comes with the territory if you sign back for membership. Working out or spending time here is more of a lifestyle and the amenities it has to offer. There's always trade-offs and membership cancellation in pretty much anywhere you go can be an issue or challenge, but I find all things this place has to offer out-weigh any potential downside. With all that said I think its worth the money to be a member here. And I particularly enjoy hanging out at the pool on those lazy days.
