Great moving service. Prompt, careful and most of all, super affordable. There was a small wall scratch when they moved the box spring; other than that, just amazing. Very happy and will be using them if we move again. I'd also like to call out that these movers are efficient and strong. I had some non-standard furniture (I collect arcade equipment such as pinball machines), and for a reasonable fee agreed to beforehand, they moved two large, awkward, 300 lb machines down a flight of narrow stairs for me. I was very worried the movers wouldn't have experience, but actually Fabio informed me they had moved the machines before so knew what they were doing. Caveats: They are cash-only. They provided two movers; I don't think you can get three movers. Since the hourly rate is so low, and fixed based on two movers, doubt this is a problem. Fabio was recommended to me over and over by multiple people which allowed me to be worry free when booking him. He and his team are professional, quick, and courteous. They arrived not only on time but a little bit early. Everything was done efficiently and with complete care. At one point one of the crew was moving my golf clubs and the banging of the clubs made a sound similar to the noise of something breaking. Fabio heard the noise, became concerned, and wanted to check if everything was all right. This is a much different attitude than the movers I have used in the past. In the past moving has been an endless task, usually involving pinched fingers, and back spasms mixed with short emotional fuses and exhaustion. Not something to look forward to. But I'm afraid I have to admit that I am not as young and spry as I once was, and I hurt my back since our last move, so I knew that this time I was going to be needing a lot of help. Fabio and his team are awesome. They are professional, clean, on time and super careful. Their rate was also very reasonable.. They helped me with a home move from a 2 bed apartment in an elevator building to a townhouse with 4 floors! They even managed to get a QS mattress up a winding staircase that our neighbors had to hire a crane for. They are on time and work very quickly. We felt sorry for our neighbors who were also moving that day and they were standing on the street looking forlorn, waiting for their movers to show up when Fabio was already onto his second and final trip! I have moved so many times and Fabio and his crew are the best we've ever had. The two things to keep in mind is that he may need to make two trips as his truck is a 16ft. I hate moving, but I love Fabio! I've moved with him 3 times over the past 4 years and am about to move yet again. He and his partner have always been on time and done a perfect job. They are polite, efficient, and hardworking! I've moved to and from 3rd floor apartments with teeny triple-decker staircases; I've had mattresses that had to be hoisted over balconies and stuff that's needed to be dragged out of dank, low-ceilinged basements. They do it all with a smile. I once had them pick up a couch from craigslist, and the owner actually called me afterward to mention how nice they were! Jenny is always quick to respond to requests for estimates (or to call when they're early/theoretically late), and the rates are super reasonable-- a fraction of what Gentle Giant wanted to charge me. Fabio is outstanding. He overdelivered at every stage of my move. Twice I have been left on the curb waiting for a moving company that never showed. So I was very nervous that it would happen again. I hired Fabio to move me from a second floor studio (hovel) in Oak Square to a one bedroom basement apartment in Cleveland Circle. Fabio has a two hour minimum and I was told to expect Fabio between 2pm and 4pm and that the price would include two movers. I was told to expect a confirmation call 40 mins before Fabio's arrival. The first overdelivery occured at 12:50pm when Fabio asked if he could arrive half hour early. Great. The second overdelivery occured when Fabio arrived at 1:30pm with an extra mover! Great I was paying for two movers, and Fabio gave me an extra mover for free. Fabio and his men quickly moved my queen size bed and boxs into their van. i was nervous about a large table that needed to be disassembled No worries, Fabio's men had the tools and quickley took care of the table. Bye bye Oak Square hovel. Off to my new apartment. My new apartment is a basement apartment and the move went smoothly, with one exception. My queen size bed would not fill in the door. Oh No. However, Fabio had a solution. Cut the bed frame in two, fold it in half and then when it was in the bedroom open it back up and put it on the bedframe. Fabio told me this is a common situation when moving beds in the North end and on Beacon Hill. Fabios men got to work and my bedframe was sawed in half, folded in two and carried into my bedroom. I've used Fabio's Moving a few times in the past and am about to again this coming Sunday for a big house move. I haven't been disappointed before. They move everything with care and are always professionals first! They work fast and they come prepared! If you're moving anything (big or small!), give these guys a call! Fabio came highly recommended and they certainly lived up to the kudos. Fabio and Jeff are true pros and a make great team. They don't have an easy job, but they made it seem so. It certainly made my move as stress-free as a move can be at a reasonable rate. I am probably relocating again in a few months and will call these guys back for sure. I was in denial about my pending move, so I contacted them only a few weeks before my Labor Day weekend move. Although they initially responded that they were booked that weekend (understandably), Jenny contact me again to say a spot had opened. The day of the move, Fabio called to say they were running ahead of schedule and could come early if that worked for me. Yes, please! Fabio and Jeff arrived and were so FRIENDLY yet PROFESSIONAL, and FAST! It was hot and humid as hell, but they boogied to get my stuff out of my 2-bedroom apartment in less than an hour. Their t-shirts were drenched, but they smiled and chatted with me through the whole thing. It was amazing how fast they had the truck packed, handling my stuff with great respect the entire time. The move on the other was just as efficient. When needed, they disassembled furniture to make it fit through tight doorways and had it back together in minutes. The truck was fully equipped with tools, pads, ties, cloths, markers for the hardwood floor to take out scratches... they were prepared for anything. They're on time, they're reasonably priced, and they're incredibly careful with your possessions. Watching them maneuver family heirloom furniture down narrow hallways is kind of like watching expert-level Tetris: lots of minute adjustments and lots of care, and nary a misplaced piece. Fabio moving is great. My fiance and I have used him 3 times now. First, he handled a large move for me from Providence to downtown Boston. He moved a whole house into a 3rd floor walk up condo in Boston in under 3 hours (including the drive). He moved my fiance across the neighborhood into my house in less than a half hour. Most recently we bought a large dresser and couldnt get it out of our car and up the stairs. We called Fabio on Sunday evening, Jenny called first thing Monday morning, Fabio and his crew were over in less than 45 minutes and the dresser was up the stairs and they even put it together for me! Fabio moving services helped us so much. We moved everything we had out of one bedroom in Brighton to a studio in Burlington. The movers were on time and began right away. They were VERY efficient. They wrapped everything in blankets and were able to do the entire thing, start to finish in less than 3 hours. We moved into a building and there were already other movers moving in other residents there as well. These movers belonged to a bigger company and were smoking near the open truck full of furniture, they were slacking and not really doing much. This really contrasted just how great Fabio was as we didn't have to deal with any of that. From start to finish Fabio was constantly moving and even on our last trip up to the apartment, Fabio remembered to bring the paperwork so that he wouldn't have to waste time making another trip while on the clock. It was the little things in the service that made this a great move. I researched a bunch of places beforehand and Fabio's moving services were of the more affordable movers with great reviews. I would definitely recommend them to anyone I know! The only downsides are that they round to the nearest half hour (some places do 1/4 hour) and only accept cash. read more

We just used Fabio movers for our move from Somerville to Chelsea last Friday after a recommendation from my roommate's cousin, and they were the best movers I have ever used. Fabio himself and another worker arrived promptly at 9:00am and within two hours had packed up our entire apartment (2 bedrooms, living room and kitchen), and they had three flights of stairs to deal with to move us out. They were very friendly and helpful - they even repacked a few of the things which weren't in appropriate boxes. We didn't tell them the size of truck we would require, however they estimated it perfectly. All in all, we were extremely pleased with quality and cost of the service. I looked into several moving service companies for a Brookline to Shrewsbury move, and settled on Fabio based on reviews I read on this website. I was not disappointed - these people did a fantastic job ! We had four rooms of furniture and a ton of boxes and clothing. Their office called at least twice to confirm both time and quantity of materials (including the night before), and they emailed me twice to make the same confirmation. They called when they were delayed in traffic, and arrived earlier than expected. When they arrived, they were courteous, went over the whole process of the move, discussed supplemental insurance (for high value items), asked me to verify that I understood the terms and conditions, and got right to the task. There were only two people but they worked like four, and never stopped until the job was loaded on the truck. We went over the directions to the new apartment, and they arrived right on time there. They got right back to the move, asking us where to put everything before they set it down, and had everything in the right spot for us to unpack. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a move - these people were top shelf. On time and as advertised - consider Fabio if you have to move !! read more

I booked Fabio a few days before my trailer was to be delivered and unloaded. The day before I was told my trailer could not be delivered to my address and had to be unloaded at the terminal all the way across town. Fabio easily accommodated the last minute change, drove all the way across town, unloaded the trailer into his own truck, drove to downtown and unloaded it to my 4th floor walk-up. IT took 20 minutes to unload the trailer and 50 mins to load it into my apartment. The price was excellent, their attention to detail was amazing,and his attitude and customer service was impeccable. WOW just WOW. These guys will blow your expectations away. I have never dealt with a more professional or courtesy group of workers in any area if business. They work nonstop with little to no down time just powering it out. There rates are VERY competitive with other offerings in the area. Our move was relatively small but they made multiple stops for us so I dont know how well they deal with large moves. Before leaving they offered to rearrange our furniture before they left. I'm usually too apathetic to write reviews on anything, but I felt the need to post something here quickly. Fabio's was amazing. I was out of the country and completely put off scheduling movers. Of the several companies I contacted, Fabio's was the only one from which I heard back. This was on a Friday for a Monday move. I felt so lucky! The guys came early, worked so quickly and efficiently, and finished moving my whole studio apartment in less than an hour and a half. That included us signing paperwork and them dismantling my bed, wrapping up all of the furniture, moving it (although I was only moving a mile and a half away), unloading it, and reassembling my bed. They were also incredibly nice and polite. All in all, it was such an easy, painless experience. I definitely definitely recommend these guys. read more
