He took extensive measurements (2 trips) and made a suggestion that instead of hanging with drapery hooks, they use velcro. This will enable them to be completely removed prior to maintenance, It took several months to fabricate the intricate design, but the result is outstanding! As soon as I walked in, the only store employee who was working at the time named JANE did not greet me at all. She showed poor customer service and was not able to help me with what I needed. When I walked over to where she was standing she failed to greet me again as a customer, and never said anything such as "How May I help you?" Once I finally got Jane's attention she just stared at me...so I proceeded to let her know the reason why I'm visiting the store was to find a beige colored piece of fabric to patch up a mark I had on my coat. The first thing Jane told me was "we don't have that type of material." She didn't bother to look at my garment or offer to assist me in finding something similar. She then proceeded to tell me "you can look around yourself." I almost walked out of the store due to her lack of customer service. I was honestly disgusted by her attitude and how rude she was. Jane, I hope you learn how to have basic customer service skills one day because your service was awful towards me.

Unfortunately the time away from my visit did not warm me towards this establishment. First off, the selection was not nearly what I had hoped for - which I'm relieved about in retrospect since I'll never give them my business. The bolts were leaning on each other in cubbies versus hanging on the wall like other outlets. I mention this only bc it requires some rooting around to find something you're looking for. This is not a deal breaker for me, but customer service is. That being said, there were two employees present when I was shopping. One woman, behind the counter, seemed friendly & helpful enough. I wish I had asked her name so I could mention her specifically. Had she been working alone I assume this review would be entirely different. The other employee, an older woman with gray hair, was unbelievably rude & I was rendered nearly speechless! She behaved so unprofessionally towards me that I walked out of the store & had to explain to my young kids what "inconsiderate" meant and why we don't patronize places that belittle us. I'm not sure why she has a chip on her shoulder...or maybe she was having a bad day...but her attitude was unjustified & they lost a potential weekly textile purchase. The installer "Scott" is incredibly professional and experienced. My order was custom Sheers, Blinds, and Shutters. There were some hiccups with the order but the owner "Bruce Heyman" is top notch. He was very helpful and resolved any issue quickly. He truly cares about his customers and wants to make sure they are satisfied. Overall, the product and installation was 100% to my satisfaction. The same installer who completed the measurements also completed the installation. Everything was measured and installed properly and looks great.
