They picked the pieces up and delivered them when completed. You have to be patient when having this type of work done. The timeframe they gave me was fine. If you have sturdy older furniture, you should expect to pay comparable to buying a new chair, but you will end up with a much higher quality product. The side cover fell off and endless stitching mistakes. I tried the foot rest when I got home I realize the actuator was upside down and if I actually did work, it would've cut the wire harness, luckily I'm a smart guy and I was able to take it apart, reroute everything. Tuesday I get proofs that look like a high schooler made them on Microsoft paint. This is the 3 weeks after drop off. They tell us we have a date the next day, but yet they can't even get me proper proofs. Called EVERY day to finally get a call back. No accountability, just excuses and them encouraging me to have them print, well no because how can I trust the print to go forward when the proof and quote were underprepared. Sure there's ups and downs in life, but if you aren't in top of your game, then acknowledge it and make it right. They missed two dates that they gave me! Had to pick up the shirts and after 3 weeks starting over for a more professional experience with a company I can trust to get it done right and hold on to their dates.

Kitchen Direct and the President and Owner Scott Curti took $35,000 of our money and never…read morecompleted the renovation of our kitchen. All our bottom kitchen doors and drawers were made incorrect. We were given plywood doors and drawers when we paid for real wooden doors. All the staining was missing throughout the kitchen. Front and bottom panels were never installed, and a top cabinet door was never made. Because of the wrong size cabinets we also cannot access our trash or recycling bins. The cabinets we chose were Showplace Cabinetry and even though our kitchen is under warranty, Showplace refuses to do the warranty work, as Showplace will only deal with Kitchen Direct, and they refuse to help the customer even after Kitchen Direct refused to complete our kitchen. Through the entire kitchen renovation there has been a multitude of mistakes, errors and inaccurate measurements etc. Scott Curti sent us a letter, telling us that he was too frustrated and he quit. We fought this for months through the BBB and the RI Attorney General's Office. In RI if you do not go through a very reputable company, the company and contractor will not be held liable to complete the work that you have paid them for. The laws have to be changed. I have called Showplace and sent emails to the President, only to be hug up on and emails that went unanswered. The Attorney General's Office does not have jurisdiction upon forcing Kitchen Direct and the owner Scott Curti to complete our kitchen. We have been living a nightmare, and we do not have the money to obtain an Attorney, which is our only recourse. After paying $35,000 our only option will be to paint the entire kitchen and hire someone to build a cabinet door and all the missing panels. If Scott Curti has a rebuttal with this complaint, PLEASE BE AWARE!!!! Do not purchase any cabinetry from Kitchen Direct or that is made by Showplace as they will not stand by mistakes that any kitchen company makes. My husband is in his 80's and I am almost 80.
