Top pillows are reversible, giving me two looks in one. Truth be told, it is expensive to reupholster. You've got the cost of fabric plus the labour. We were looking to have our dining room chairs reupholstered because we were seeing flaking on the…read morecushions. The material was some sort of faux leather and wanted to replace it with fabric. After doing some research and speaking with a few companies, we decided to choose Masterson. Ron and Scott were so easy to work with and took what was an overwhelming process and made it so easy. Scott pulled many sample books and spent time talking to us to best understand what colors and designs we were interested in. He answered all of our questions and really took the time to understand what we were looking for. We dropped off the cushions in early May and from the very beginning, told us not to focus on price choose what we liked, and he would be happy to work with us on price. As you can imagine, looking at so many colors and designs can be quite overwhelming and Scott was extremely professional and helped by offering suggestions based on the information we gave him. After sometime, walking around the showroom and looking at many books, my husband and I chose d the fabric that we liked the best. Scott worked his magic and made some phone calls however, found out that the print we had chosen had been discontinued. Back to the drawing board, we went with Scott by our side, helping us along the way. After a couple of hours, we couldn't keep colors and patterns straight anymore so Scott offered to let us bring home some samples and decide what we liked in our home against our furnishings. Within a few hours of getting home we chose the fabric that was perfect for us! We called Scott the next morning and asked him to please place the order. When we arrived at the showroom to return the sample we had borrowed, we told Scott there was an event at our house in three weeks and asked him if it was possible to have the cushions finished by then. Scott was very upfront and told us he would do his best but could not make any promises as he had some clients before us. A couple of days before the date of our event, we spoke with Scott and he told us he would have the cushions ready for us by the end of the week. We were over the moon with joy! , Not only had Scott given us a very reasonable price for the reupholstering of the cushions, he was able to return them finished to us by the time that we had hoped. We cannot say enough great things about Masterson or Scott and his brother Ron. Masterson takes the time to understand what you are looking for and go above and beyond to help you sift through the tremendous amount of options available at their showroom. They are professional, fairly priced, and in our opinion, take the time to really understand what their client is looking for. If you find yourself looking to have a piece of furniture reupholstered, consider Scott and Ron at Masterson's upholstery. Masterson did a great job for us and they will do the same for you. I had already been waiting two months for delivery, so to say I was disappointed is an understatement. Then the panic kicked in. Since it was a custom sectional, I would get majorly dinged if I returned it. But what other options were there? That's where Melo and Sons came in. The delivery guy put me on the phone with his manager to talk it over. Yes, returning the sectional was an option, as was taking out my dining room window to bring the sofa portion in that way (hell no!) Or... I could have some pros disassemble it at their warehouse then reassemble it in my living room. Of my three options, the third was the winner by a longshot. As I was the first delivery of the day, I patiently waited until Melo and Sons opened then gave them a ring. Joanne immediately answered and put my nerves at ease. It was obvious I wasn't the first numpty to purchase a too big piece of furniture that needed saving by them. After providing her all the requested information, I had a delivery date for about three weeks out. By the time my Boston Interiors salesperson called to discuss the failed delivery, everything was already tucked and tied with Melo and Sons. When the big day finally arrived, Mike and George showed up right on time and quickly got to work. They laid down moving blankets to protect the floor then brought up the disassembled sofa in several carefully wrapped pieces. Aside from being the consummate professionals, they were funny to boot. It took them less than two hours to reassemble the sofa and at long last reunite it with its other half. That evening, after three long months, I finally got to relax on and enjoy my sectional in its full glory. All thanks to Melo and Sons and their niche specialty.

Earlier this year, while cleaning out my home office files, I came across documentation from a project dating back six years -- one that had never been fulfilled. To be completely transparent, I had forgotten about it until now. I reached out to request a $200 refund for the uncompleted work. Despite providing clear documentation and context, my request was handled dismissively. It's disappointing that after years of loyal business, The Drapery House refused to honor such a simple, good-faith request. It makes it clear they do not value long-term customers. It's also worth noting that The Drapery House is not BBB accredited, which may help explain the lack of accountability we experienced. It's a shame when a company known for quality undermines its reputation over something so small.
