The studio itself is gorgeous: stylish, chic, and perhaps one of the nicest Alts locations I've been to. Plus, there's plenty of parking right on Putnam Avenue, which makes it super convenient. I recently brought in more than 10 garments (dresses, sweaters, skirts and jeans). Mix of complex and simple alterations. It's incredible that they are able to handle everything with ease. I also needed some outfits rushed for an event and the team was able to accommodate my short window. I dropped off 2 pairs of dress pants on Wed to have the waist and cuffs adjusted. The next day Thurs I go to pick them up. Both pairs were too big in the waist still! So I told Steve and he started getting irate, huffing and puffing. After I tried on the 2nd pair and told him it was too big as well he came over to me, grabbed the front of my pants by the waist STARTED YANKING ON MY PANTS ALMOST RIPPING THE MATERIAL as I was still wearing them, screaming at me saying "what you want them tight like this"!!! I told him his attitude was disgusting and uncalled for. Last time I went there he was also rude but I gave him the benefit of the doubt thinking maybe he just had a bad day. He said it would take 5 mins to repair the pants. Almost an Hour later of him cursing at me and using the F word, he was finally finished. Right before I left he told me don't ever come back. His prices are reasonable & he does really good work on men's pants, shirts, suits, etc. I am a clothes horse & buy expensive quality clothing, and Steve is my go to guy for alterations on garments both old & new. Not sure about some of the other reviews on here, but my experience has been 100% positive.
