Since I was looking for white fabric, she recommended I take the fabric outside in the sun to make sure it matches (can't trust white with the florescent lights!). That greatly helped, as the first fabric I thought would work ended up not matching at all once I took it in the sun. After a few tries, I found a fabric that was perfect! I told her she was breaking the federal law then she offered me a spot way in the back by myself so no one would complain. I immediately asked for a refund as that was discriminatory. I cannot believe I was treated this way trying to learn a new hobby. But now reading the other reviews it seems I have dodged a bullet by not taking this class.

Recently we ordered multiple outfits for my son's wedding, including the bridal lehenga, groom's sherwani, and outfits for my daughter's family including both grandchildren. We described what we wanted for each outfit and Ramesh Bhai's designs surpassed our vision for EVERY single piece! We couldn't decide which outfit we liked the best because we truly loved each one equally! The bridal lahenga was gorgeous. What amazed me further was how stunning the groom's sherwani was! It was unique, modern, and masculine. Everyone raved about how cute and unique my granddaughter's cape lahenga was, and my grandson's sherwani made him look like a prince! Ramesh Bhai also did a superb job designing our son-in-law's groom sherwani 10 years ago. My son-in-law requested a unique sword design for his wedding outfit and Ramesh Bhai (and his staff) custom designed a stunning cover for the sword. His staff even stayed after store hours working on it and it ended up being one of the focal points of their wedding! We are so honored that Ramesh Bhai played such an integral role in both my son's and daughter's weddings. All the outfits for both weddings are a testament of Ramesh Bhai's unique talent!!!

I discovered the place through my friend, Greg Buchold. I had been admiring a Mardi Gras mask and wreath that he had put on his door and he told me about the place. I went looking for Mardi Gras stuff but was blown away by the extensive collection of cookbooks and design books that they sell, all discounted from retail list prices. But there was much much more. Just when I think I've seen everything there is to see in Houston, something new pops up on my radar. Check out the photos.
