I've been to this Nordstrom Rack a few times. I realized after our last visit that I hadn't written…read morea review for this location, so here it is. My wife likes this store. In general, she says she always finds something that's good quality and a good value, and customer service is good. She described Nordstrom Rack as, "like a higher-end T.J. Maxx." Some examples of items she's purchased here include Stuart Weitzman shoes (her wedding shoes; they're beautiful), Madewell sweaters and T-shirts (lots of T-shirts), a French Connection sweater, a Theory dress (one of my favorites; she's worn it to my company's holiday party and to one of her company's events), and NEST New York scented candles (they smell good). Another reason she likes Nordstrom Rack is because she can return both Nordstrom Rack and regular Nordstrom items. Convenient. During our last visit, employee Marquis was fantastic. At checkout, my wife didn't know her Nordstrom credit card expired. Marquis got her on the phone with someone who helped her take care of everything. She was still able to get her Nordy Club points and Notes (loyalty rewards). This Nordstrom Rack is located in Buckhead, just off Georgia 400 Exit 2, near Lenox Square and Phipps Plaza. It's in Buckhead Station, a two-story shopping center. On the weekends, Buckhead Station gets crowded and there are longer lines at Nordstrom Rack. During peak times, I suggest parking on the lower level where there is plenty of parking and no congestion. This Nordstrom Rack opened in 2010. It's the only Nordstrom Rack inside the perimeter.

She let me know what my options were and I chose to have three standard keys cut at $2.98 each. Three total rang up to $9.74 after tax. Sahil told me this is the "fun" Ace Hardware and I could see why. The staff trended younger and more "hip." I'm a fan of Ace Hardware in general because each store feels like a small, local, and unique business. This one especially so. It's popular among locals with a strong sense of neighborhood and community. And, like other city Ace Hardware stores, it was densely-packed with all sorts of useful hardware and garden items. If you've never visited this location before, be sure to check out the beautiful plant room. They have a good selection of plants and a big wall of seeds. They even sell King of Pops here. Limited free parking is available on-site. I visited during a peak time and was able to snag a spot. If no spots are available, just park on Drewry St NE (also free). The lot is reserved for Intown Ace customers only.

He pulls out the schedule of activities and reads off "Semi-formal or Indian." Hmmmm...we called up a couple of our Indian friends to make sure we wouldn't be offending anyone if we showed up decked out in traditional garb and, once we got the thumbs up, ventured out to see what we could come up with! My mother actually recommended this shop - she loves the colors and sparkles of Indian clothing - that is found next to Chat Patti near the N. Druid Hills and Briarcliff Target. I had initially planned to get a sari, but the saleswoman steered me toward a salwaar kameez (dress with matching pants) after warning me that attempting to wrap the sari on my own could prove to be more challenging than understanding the Lost finale. Clothing sizes vary from US clothes, so be sure to grab a wide range to try on and get the feel for the sizing before you get your heart set on any specific outfit. With some assistance, I started out with a few that made me look like a dowdy mother of the bride, followed by a few that were cut so skimpily in the front that they were practically obscene. Eventually I found the perfect fit in a gorgeous purple/fuschia number with elaborate beading on the bust. Inspired by my clear affinity for wearing Indian clothing (or perhaps the realization that wider range of options = greater potential for sales), my saleslady relented on the sari issue, picked out a gorgeous burgundy and gold number, and showed me twice (I assisted the second time) how to wrap it. I almost remembered how to do it myself (many thanks to Youtube for thre refresher course!) later! The people in the store assured me that if I was really in a bind, anyone at the wedding would be happy to assist me, although I imagine it would have caused an interesting stir if I had marched into the reception with my sari half-wrapped... I ended up getting both outfits - salwar kameez for the morning ceremony and lunch and the sari for the evening reception, and travelin' man got a traditional outfit for the morning as well. We even got a discount, although I am sure our price was still twice as much as what would have been offered to Desi customers. Although I felt somewhat self-conscious when I first arrived and started poking around, being the only non-Indian in the store, by the time I left I felt like part of the family. So don't be afraid to ask for help! And give yourself time to really dig around - there are so many colors, patterns, beading, etc. that every outfit in the store is truly unique. You'll want to be able to take your time as you sort through all of the different options.

"What is that, velvet or something??"…read more Yes, girls, it is velvet. Velvet, that is. One of my favoritest brands of tees and light dresses and tops. And Luna is stocked to the gills with Velvet pretties for their early spring selections. So many cute choices. I love the cotton softness of Velvet's pieces and there are cool new designs out now, from tanks and tees in flowy shapes that I haven't seen from them before, to updated versions of the long sleeve wraps they had the past few seasons. Also out this season are cute tops with kind of crocheted necklines and great dresses that I could totally wear to work or out on a casual patio afternoon in the sun! Yeah, there was plenty of other cute stuff too - and a TON of fun jewelry!! - but if you love good tops or dig Velvet (or Splendid, which they are stocked up on, too), definitely make a stop at Luna soon!

I find the neutral colors to be dateless...meaning that I can wear it year after year regardless what the trend is...also they make a beautiful perfect cream color blouse that is perfect for wearing all year round. The ladies here are fantastic. Every time I come in here there is someone to greet me and tell me what sort of sales they have going on at the moment. As far as price is concerned you get what you pay for these days. If you pay $50 for a coat then it looks like $50. I think Club Monaco's quality is exceptionally good.
