I have to say being at Atlanta and seeing the proximity of this act Fifth Avenue at the one mall versus the Neiman Marcus is at the other mall. Is really quite impressive. Also, knowing that neither one of them are being affected by the bankruptcy and closing is also highly impressive. This fact, Fifth Avenue is super stocked to the brink with product and it looks nothing like the Saks Fifth Avenue in Chicago. There was definitely lots of staff here eager to help. And there was lots to see here. I have to say as someone who doesn't shop at Saacks because it's just not available in the Chicagoland area that if I come back to Atlanta, I am definitely coming back to the specific store. We went to get a tux first it was so hot in the dressing room and tux area and this was before the high temps hit outside my husband was soaked in sweat. Then we picked up the tux I brought it home the pants are too tight we spent 5k total. He made it through the evening. Also there were still chalk marks on the pants and the shirt wasn't pressed like they promised so I had to steam it when. I got home. They have a great selection of Burberry and Tory Burch bags--much better than other stores. The women's shoe section is great and there were plenty of shoes on sale. The associates were friendly--a few asked if I needed assistance as I was walking around. You can easily break the bank in here! I used to go Saks 5th a lot more than Neiman a decade ago. Probably since I lived behind Phipps Plaza. In recent years I only go to this store with my friends. Once I went there since I placed some holiday gifts on the Saks 5th website and chose the option of gift wrapped, the items came without even gift boxes. I had to make a trip to the store, only to be told there was no customer service department or gift wrapping section in the store. I was very surprised. I did not even know that. The staff was nice though, she got me a few gift boxes and ribbons. Guess I have to boxed the gifts and tied them with ribbons at home. I did not mind but I always like how the professionals tied those ribbons, always professionally done. Customer service is good though I definitely find the staffs at Neiman more approachable. I walked in here looking for a very specific Chanel shoe, when i walked to the Chanel boutique i was greeted at the entry. I explained i was lookin for a sneaker , they replied and told me they didn't carry sneakers in the boutique and i would have to go through SAKS. The gentlemen introduced me to Chase in the shoe department. chase was able to find the shoe at a different location. He told me he would text his friend and see if she could pull it for the order. Overall i placed the order and chase did explain that because it was a busy Saturday there was no guarantee. Chase was very sweet, patient, and personable. He definitely gives the luxury shopping experience. The shoe department was very clean , and the sales associates were very attentive. Parking is a small lot outside of the mall, but seemed to rotate easily. What i will say is if you're looking for ANYTHING.. go inside and find someone to ask because you'll get the best customer service and they'll most likely be able to help you! read more

What a disaster. I immediately told the salesman I need these shoes TODAY for a special occasion. I buy $1200 shoes when I get them home I realized they're stained and dirty in multiple places. I bring them back and they tell me they can clean them for me? No... you can order me a brand new fresh pair. Asked for 1 day shipping and they give me 2-3 day. Then they order it in the wrong size. I came into Saks at Phipps Plaza to purchase a suit. I purchased a suit, shirt, and tie. Paid for it in full, including alterations....was told to pick it up one week later. When I arrived to pick up the items no one seemed to be able to locate them. After sitting for an hour....they tell me they lost it somehow. Now, how does a department store like Saks "lose" a suit, shirt, & tie. Seriously? I came to this store because I thought I could count on them. I purchased the suit for an important family wedding. I would like to write a review for orders and returns to Sak's. This is just online so not an in store review. I ordered some boots, immediately shipped them back since they didn't fit. The distribution center sent them back to me. I spoke to several customer service supervisors and sent pictures of the boots. Distribution center said they were damaged. I never wore them. Customer service told me to ship them back again, which I did. Now two months later they were rejected by the distribution center and are being returned to me. I am so angry and confused! Obviously not value priced but for this strata I am sometimes impressed that Yurman prices here are the same as they were at the boutique. I have generally found the people to be helpful and friendly. The Bond counter in particular is a lot of fun as they will mix scents up on the fly. So I ask....do u have any white shoes in the $200 arena....he says....OH NO...we dont have shoes that cheap in the store. well, it should be a good experience to shop here. However, manager level plus new sales associate doesn't even know the difference between debt card and credit card. A floor supervisor Sharece has no customer service skill but act like a pro in the store. She didn't even know what is Pin based debt card difference than credit card. If the store not taking any card without name on it, please explain to me how could you accept those VISA/MASTERCARD/AMEX gift card shopping? those cards have no name on it but need to a pin to finish the transition. I love Saks, I go pretty frequent and the site is practically my home page. The service is pretty nice. I had one issue when I sent for a pair to be picked up and it looked like my $800 shoes had been worn. I came back after a month in London and they let me switch out my Pigalles with a fresh pair and another to keep them company. Whether I am in shoes, handbags, lingerie, or makeup everyone is kind! I even follow a few of the sales persons on instagram and they are always posting cool pieces in store, style pairings, sales, and events. If anything I wish there was a second location because Buckhead is just crazy sometimes. Going on the weekdays or Sunday afternoons helps though. read more

Dust bag was dirty, Hardware was scratched, scratches in the leather and there was a piece of popcorn, crumbs and some loose change inside the bag as well. Whoever thought it was okay to send a bag out in that condition is a moron it blows my mind. I wouldn't even expect that from Marshall's or any discounted store let alone a high end department store like are you kidding me. Horrible experience with SAKS every single time. DONT ORDER anything online. I ordered some slides as a bday gift. They shipped but didn't make it to my doorstep. As a matter of fact, they made it to Texas where they got stuck because the shipping label became unreadable. WE HAD TO CALL AND INVESTIGATE, they didn't help us. It turned out that the shoes was delivered BACK TO THE WAREHOUSE, not my home, even though customer service said it was delivered. So my bf called and they told him ( mind you he has no access to my account so they gave him information on my order without my consent, privacy breach) that they will just cancel my order and refund me. Fine. Waits another two weeks.... Calls and waits on the line for 30 mins before I speak to someone, and she tells me they've refunded me already. I got nothing. She tries to push me off the phone before I become upset with the bs she's telling me. She "investigates" further and says they've refunded me a gift card. A GIFT CARD???? I didn't use a $200 gift card to purchase these shoes!!!! Why would you do that? And where's this gift card? Because I haven't received that EITHER!!!!!!!!! She says she can turn the gift card in and refund me back to my card but it takes 3-5 days. Nope. So... I ask to speak to the manager and BEHOLD... more elevator music.
